Reverse advertising.  There are a select few businesses out there that do thrive off of slews of negative reviews.  There is an eyeglasses place out of NY that is run like this......thousands of bad reviews, but still in business.

I'd think many people would frequent this establishment just for the experience.  Something perceived as being so negative and awful that it becomes great......like an 80s new wave music video.

Boring.  Uninspired.  Overpriced.  Overhyped. Same design as every other new vehicle out there.  People willing to pay an extra $20k extra simple because it has the BMW logo on it....and many buyers don't even know what BMW stands for.

But.......this vehicle simply reflects what most people in society are.  Boring.  Uninspired.   These people drive vehicles that match their personalities.  Lack of imagination....lack of innovation....lack of style. Why do you think the Camry and F-150 are the top sellers year in and year out?  

This BMW looks like a Camry anyway.  Yawn inducing.  Insipid.

Hell, people don't even want to wrench on their own cars anymore.  Once they reach a certain mileage on them, they just throw them out like a used refrigerator, in spite of the fact that 95% of the car is still in top shape.  Even the names of the cars nowadays resemble home appliances......125i...w hat a fucking joke.

People are so fucking.......lame.  No sense of adventure at all and risk adverse to everything.  When I take my 'Vette out, I bring a toolbox with me..and more often than not, I don't have a cellphone with me.  'Cause I don't want to have any distractions while I listen to the straight piped smallblock v8 churn out wonderful music.  This scenario would cause most Americans to break out in a cold sweat.

A flat tax would disproportionately affect poorer and lower-end middle class families a lot moreso than the wealthier groups. Let us say that a family makes 20k a year and the flat tax rate is 20%.........their net income would be 18k.....that missing 2k could definitely mean choosing whether to eat or pay the light bell.  Whereas a family making 200k would have to end up getting a Chrysler instead of a BMW due to that flat tax rate.

As far as targeting goes, various conservative groups' members are more likely to avoid taxes due to their consistent rhetoric about well, hating the IRS and not funding welfare and other social programs.

The police patrol their city streets as if they were in Fallujah...bringing in terms such as "officer safety" to justify the necessity to treat civilians as nothing much more than dangerous insurgents. Militarized equipment comes along with the militarized tactics that even local, smaller agencies employ nowadays. Many agencies bloat their crime and arrest statistics in order to grab Federal cash to purchase things such as armored personnel carriers and drones(and why would the Fargo, North Dakota police need an armored vehicle anyway? To respond to the one murder they had all year?).

There are now arrest and ticket quotas required by police officers. Trust me, they are not here to serve and protect(in spite of the fact that violent crimes have gone steadily down...no thanks to the police or politicians of course). These are uniformed revenue collectors, ensuring jails, prisons and city coffers are full, keeping the system of the courts, police agencies, lawyers, corrections and private prison industry fully funded and justified for their existence.

This has been known for quite some time, but in the information age, this should not be a big deal. With the internet, people now have unfettered access to unfiltered blogs, news sources, and foreign news agencies that would give a viewer a well-rounded view on current events.

The problem here is American ignorance, and how they would allow themselves to be influenced by obviously biased news sources.

The article was disparaging of Mr. paul in its tone and inflections. The Post tried to portray Rand Paul as a nut and in the great scheme of things, he is a contrarian to the changes that will most assuredly come to the US and the world.  We WILL globalize, and strict gun control laws will pass.....these are the wishes of the many people, a majority if factoring in global populations.

Conservatism, the Constitution, the Church, and ethnic European-Americans are literally under siege, being assaulted on all sides, governmental and corporate. Those ways are the old ways, and change will come, whether you like it or not. A siege can lenghthen the war, but ultimately, fighting on a permanent defensive front has never won a war.

Over 10% of the American population is currently or has been within the criminal justice system (imprisoned, probation, etc...).  Unless equipped with very specific skills and/or in possession of a fair amount of currency, these men and women are virtually almost unemployable, ensuring recidivism rates remain high.  Law enforcement is simply a branch of society, and is fed by people's desire for authority and government funding.

The world does not hate America. 

The money you can make in the PI and security industry is stupid off the charts.  It is so expansive and it is worldwide.  It goes far, far beyond merely catching a cheating husband or having a security guard in some gatehouse somewhere.

The private sector allows you to make far more than what law enforcement makes.  On top of that, you aren't held to nowhere near the same amount of public scrutiny that a cop has to endure.
