Dos Santos will be outed for the mediocre fighter that he is. No way he can bang with the top 5 in that weight class
Scott Jorgensen will get a title shot in WEC
Yvel will come back and win his next two fights to lose a #1 contender match
BJ Penn will take a shot at GSP again only to be dominated again
FIST-ta-CUFF Radio will blow up and begin covering TUFF N Uff in new york

The death of Vitali Mitu following a sparring session at Golden Glory gym is a story that hasn't gotten a ton of attention. MMA Mania does a nice job of explaining the situation:
Mitu, a 22 year-old native of Soldanesti, Moldova, collapsed following a sparring session last Thursday with three-time K-1 World Grand Prix champion, Semmy Schilt (pictured), at Golden Glory's gym in Bucharest, Romania.
According to the statement signed by trainers Ciprian Sora and Horia Radulescu, Mitu "fainted without being hit" and after a brief first aid effort proved fruitless, an ambulance arrived a few minutes later. At the hospital, Mitu was pronounced dead due to cardiorespiratory arrest, "without signs of violence except normal ones caused by resuscitation maneuvers."
Head over to MMA Mania for the rest of the story including a link to the statement released by Golden Glory gym.
BloodyElbow.com would like to offer our deepest condolences to Vitali's family.

Getbig Misc Discussion Boards / Mixed Martial Arts (MMA/UFC) / Junie shows his ass yet again haha

Looks like Junie is still embracing his heel persona, per ProMMA.info:
Despite his troubles outside the cage, Browning proved he still had skills that surpass your average Taekwondo black belt by dropping Cornwell to the mat with his very first punch. Junie quickly pounced on his opponent, and at one point tried to put him in a gogoplata. He actually got pretty close, but ended up settling for a trusty triangle submission.
Browning controlled the entire 3:13 fight and was never in any danger. Following the bout, the microphone was handed to Cornwell who was apologetic and genuinely displeased with his performance. The crowd applauded Cornwell's effort, in what was only his second professional bout.
Then the microphone was handed to Junie and the arena filled with boos. Junie said, "I try to come out here and put on a show. If you don't like it, then f**k ya'll!" This actually brought out a few cheers. Then Junie had a special message for the ladies. He said, "LADIES, AFTER THIS I WANT TWO LINES, ONE FOR SUCKING, AND ONE FOR F**KING." He dropped the mic to the ground and walked out of the cage. The boos were deafening.
Between Junie and War Machine, The Ultimate Fighter is certainly bringing MMA an excellent set of representatives.

Getbig Misc Discussion Boards / Mixed Martial Arts (MMA/UFC) / War Machine makes another mistake

According to adultfyi.com:
..."This looked like something out of a bad Vince McMahon script as this guy War Machine went nuts and began taking everyone on at this party," The Vizier says. "We're talking multiple assaults and battery with the cops after him."
"War Machine’s own agent, Derek Hay, looked to be the primary target with a couple of shots to the head. Mika Tan’s Ex was KO’d as well & sent to hospital."
"I never saw anything like it," continued The Vizier. "War Machine was in kill mode. His fists were lethal weapons. Anyone who tried to get between him and Derek got taken down – hard." War Machine responds on Twitter:
Update from TerezOwens:
Update: I have in fact spoken to War Machine's Girlfriend Alanah Rae, who confirms that the former MMA star hit her across the face last night at Brook Haven's Birthday Party..She claims he then went on to pummel almost a dozen dudes including his own porn agent Derek Hay..who still remains in the hospital recovering...more to come. -TO

I didn't see the fight so I can't comment-- but I feel Hedge is being a bit harsh on Forrest.
He has always fought top quality opponents- He now has wins against three all time greats in Rua, Ortiz and Rampage. He has a big heart and not much talent, but thats always been the case. He lost his last two fights to a previously undefeated Rashad, and then to the greatest striker in MMA history-- One guy who was undefeated at the time and another who probably is going to retire as unbeaten in the UFC.
I personally like him a lot because he always brings it. Against superior opponents chances are he is going to get destroyed ( Kind of Like Keith Jardines), but he's never going to duck anybody.
I feel that guys like Forrest and Jardines are necessary to the 205 weightclass as measuring sticks for upcoming fighters, to keep contenders honest and to occasionally generate a buzz.
Forrest is a funny guy, but I think he will if he hasnt already become a gate keeper in the 205 division. I don't see him doing to good against the top comp. I know that he beat Page, but I don't think it woud happen again. Forrest I think has peaked at 205 and will never be top contender again. If it does happen I will eat my own words, but to many guys I see kicking the shit out of him. He is a good guy and will be a great gate keeper, but not enough power and not dominant at any one thing to be succesful for a long period of time at the top of the weight class. I would love to see a houston alexander forrest fight to though. Even though I think Forrest would kill him on the ground, I think Houston would have the edge in stand-up. But Forrest really abused Tito in round three.

Your right, I guess drinking a lot will make your forget. Baroni did get worked, and I forgot how good lil nog looked. I want to see a lil nog, vs forrest fight now.. Groove really didnt make me say yay, but his triangle is deadly.. Koscheck fight pissed me off, the eye poke I think was intentional, but hey thats just my two cents. I had to watch the last two fights on a sloppy choppy stream which sucked...

Getbig Misc Discussion Boards / Mixed Martial Arts (MMA/UFC) / Re: Karo Parisian Kicked out of the UFC

Breaking news regarding Karo Parisyan's status for his UFC 106 match-up with Dustin Hazelett comes to us from Dana White via his Twitter page:
@danawhite Karo Parisyan has fucked over the UFC, the fans and his opponent again!!! He will not be fighting Saturday or ever again in the UFC
We can only speculate at to what the specifics are to the tweet by Dana White, but I'm sure we'll find out very soon as it seems that White is completely fed up with Karo Parisyan. Parisyan's failures in the past are likely what White is referring to when he says Karo has "f*cked" over the UFC once again.
If you recall, Karo pulled out of his UFC 88 bout with Yoshiyuki Yoshida due to a back injury, but he pulled out of the bout right before the weigh-ins. The problems kept coming as Karo tested positive for banned painkillers hydrocodone, hydromorphone, and oxymorphone following his close split decision victory over Dong Hyun Kim at UFC 94. Interestingly enough, Karo was rumored to potentially be pulling out of the UFC 94 bout and Rick Story was on deck to take his place only a day before the event was to take place.
It looks like Dana White has had enough, and it'll be interesting to see what the reasoning is behind Karo's dismissal.
[UPDATE] via Josh Gross - "@SI_JoshGross: Karo Parisyan denies abuse of painkillers is the reason for not fighting. "Hell no, no addiction," he said via text. "It's anxiety."
[UPDATE] via MMAWeekly.com:
Karo "The Heat" Parisyan is out of UFC 106 after failing to acquire a license in Nevada, according to Parisyan, due to not having the money to pay his fine from previously being suspended after testing positive for a three different pain killers following his UFC 94 bout with Kim Dong-hyun.
"There’s a lot of problems going on. They won’t re-license me unless I (expletive) pay them," Parisyan told MMAWeekly.com. "I had to pay the $32,000 fine in order to fight. I never paid because I never had the money. I don’t know if I’ll be able to come back."
[UPDATE] by MMAJunkie - "Keith Kizer said Karo was, in fact, licensed and they had worked out a deal to have him pay fine out of UFC 106 purse. Weird."
[UPDATE] by Dana White - "Pulled out of the fight the day before weigh ins again with a laundry list of excuses!!! Let the press ask karo why! Let him explain."
[UPDATE] by Josh Gross - "Karo Parisyan via text confirmed he won’t be fighting Saturday. He declined to answer any questions."
[UPDATE] by Dana White - "Dustin will be paid his full purse to show and win. Its not his fault."

So I haven't gotten all the details but he ended up pulling out of his fight today for this weekend. Dana white was pissed and ended up stating that he will never fight again in the ufc. Some are saying he hadn't paid his fine for illegal substance that he tested possitive for, but I also heard that the NSAC was going to allow him to pay it with this fights purse? We will see how it unfolds
