Thanks TA, I tried, but it looks like these guys here are not going to turn over their decision. Its become a popularity contest. But at least there will always be an asterix next to whateva's name in the Mr. Getbig Hall of Fame, or should it be Shame.
Yes because when the guy who clearly has the better physique and who played by the rules beats the guy who had a worse physique than him and should have been DQ'd, it's a popularity contest Since when did 'popularity' become synonymous with 'best bodybuilder'?

I wondered if anyone would catch that, I think I got it right. I wouldn't steal his shirt, I don't think I could get my arms into his size "m" t-shirt. I'm surprised no one else got it, I don't think I could count the number of times I watched that movie I was always shocked that for a guy who was a sneeze away from a doctorate Mike Katz came off as such a buffoon in that movie

While they did break the rules, it was minor and allowing them to compete was for the betterment of the contest and getbig. But duping the judges into thinking your an amateur was un-sportsman like conduct anyway you slice it.
I can also remember the responses whateva's pictures prompted on the boards that week. He was asked by a lot of very surprised and impressed posters if he ever competed before, what contests and if he ever planned on being a pro. He had opportunities to come clean but didn't. Why? because the judges would have been less impressed with him and more impressed with the work TA, alexxx and the rest put into their physiques. They put their hearts into it. They weren't experienced pros stepping off the circut to scam a few prizes from an amateur competition.
Imagine doing what he did to win a few prizes. These pros must really desperate. Give them a salary for godsake.
One way to settle this is to ask the judges if they believed at the time of the judging that all the contestants were amatures. Also ask the sponsors if they believed at the time they offered the prizes that the prizes would go to an amateur not a pro. If the answer is Yes, he should be out.
I know a lot of you guys agree with me but don't want to see TA the winner because he is a pompous ass. He may be, but realize this, we complain incessantly about unfairness in IFBB competitions and the hypocrisy of the bodybuilding industry as a whole. Now here we are doing the exact same thing. Turning a blind eye, letting someone steal from the cookie jar. Giving an early Christmas gift.
I am particularly dismayed at 240 who stands on the soapbox all the time against bodybuilding infractions but now in his own contest he is unusually quiet.
So you continue to say that we should not DQ guys who broke the written rules but DQ a guy who broke an unwritten rule? Yeah, that would be fair

Again, i would have thought the same thing, but it's one thing when Dave Chappelle does the "Niggar Family" skit and another when TA keeps calling Whateva a 'gook' and talking about how Whateva hid just like 'his people' did in Vietnam, etc. I'm glad he's been nice to you but he is bonafide scum on the boards to everyone else.

are you going to enter the mr getbig 2007 and show TA the real deal? or just talk about it?
I'd like to, but that's a year away so who knows what I'll be up to. I would definitely like to and I can't think of anything that would keep me from doing so. I actually already started dieting down for the MD classic, though I expect that we'll se a ton of NPC guys taking the top spots but it will at least let me get a bunch of good pics of myself dieted down. Currently it looks like I'll be in single digit bf again before the end of November and in the low 180's/high 170's, but I'll see where I'm at when I get there. You going to go for the MGB 07? Lets face it, TA, you're arms aren't big enough for your chest, you're calfs don't match your thighs (which is really sad) and you only have one pose and in that you look like a spider.
Are you going to steal his shirt Natural Al?

Every single variable and miniscule exception cannot be written into the formal rules of a contest. That is why there is a judge and this case it was Mindspin and 240. These guys were supposed to interpret the rules with the best interest of the competitors involved. In TA's case they determined giving him a few more hours since he worked a full time job was OK. Sounds fair to me. But allowing Whateva to keep his title when he clearly disguised himself to appear as an amatuer in effort to impress the judges (and make a fool out of everyone involved) was not in the best interest of all the competitors. The way 240 complains about the IFBB one would think he would be fair in his own contest. Oh well it is halloween. Trick or treat... You guys have been fooled.
Yeah obviously Whateva was trying to make fools of everyone Where do you get that shit? Oh that's right, you get it straight from the tap when you "help" TA get rid of all that extra protein that his shriveled physique doesn't need

While your comments are humrous, they are at the expense of another human being.........so, seeing that most of you guys have been ridiculed your entire lives, I suggest you listen to this age old wisdom. It bears great relevance to all who read this board. "Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at him."
Interesting, Dave just posted the same thing over on the MD forums. Methinks someone got a PM from a certain gunn show promoter saying that everyone was being mean to him

Already posted 3 different deadlift weights with 500 plus. Scroll back.
You posted pics of you holding the weight, not deadlifting it. And if your deadlift form is anything like your form on the rest of your back exercises, I'd doubt you could actually lift it without throwing out your back. you're the only person I've ever seen that turns a pullup or lat pulldown into a shrugging exercise. And alexxx is right about your legs; they don't even equal one of his

Hey TA, it was 225 for 100 reps, not "Post an old pic of you supposedly doing a different lift". If we ask to see your bench press are you going to post a pic of you doing leg extentions? Stop being a pussy and either post the lift or cop to lying yet again.

Jon Brower Minnoch (1941 - 1983) of Bainbridge Island, WA; 6 ft 1 in, estimated as weighing "probably more than" 1400 lbs in 1979, at which point it took 13 people just to roll him over in bed. Minnoch, like many of the heaviest people, suffered from massive edema: his weight was augmented by at least 900 lbs of fluid at its peak. The former taxi driver had always been unusually heavy, reaching 400 lbs in 1963, 700 lbs in 1966, and 975 lbs in 1976, but he claimed to have been in no way handicapped by his size until a 500-calorie diet sapped his muscle strength and left him at the brink of death. Subsequent hospitalization brought him down to 476 lbs in 1981, mostly through the loss of 12 to 14 pounds of fluid per week. He was readmitted later that year after regaining 200 lbs in seven days. Although physicians at University Hospital in Seattle persisted in treating him with a 1,200-calorie diet, he weighed about 800 lbs at the time of his death. Other details of his physical condition were withheld from the press. Minnoch was the father of two children by his 110-lb wife, Jeannette. enf of discussion The man filled in the more space than who ever it be. Jon at 700 lbs He needs to up the dosage
