Two things that should be highlighted in the wake of the Boston tragedy;

(1) Bullying; It seems obvious that this led to the Boston attacks. The younger brother repeatedly mentioned that he didn't have any American friends.

(2) Contact Sports; The older brother was a boxer. The younger brother apparently wrestled and was into sports. The aggressive nature of these activities undoubtedly led to the Boston attacks because they encourage violent behavior. Both brothers could also have been suffering from some sort of post concussion syndrome psychosis from an undiagnosed head injury. As we see in the NFL, repeated blows to the head drives most people insane.

There should be a government program implemented in schools across the United States which forces all young people to be friends with one another and there should be a 5 year moratorium on all contact sports until scientists can determine whether a link exists between contact sports and acts of extreme violence.

Your thoughts?

Saudi National Questioned in Boston Attack was on Terror Watch List

 Todd Starnes

Apr 22, 2013

The Saudi national who was initially detained and then ruled out as a suspect in the Boston Marathon terrorist attack had been flagged on a terror watch list and was granted a student visa without being properly vetted, sources have told me.

A source close to the investigation revealed that the Saudi national had been deemed inadmissible under the section of the Immigration and Nationality Act which declares ineligible for a visa – any alien who is engaged in or is likely to engage after entry – in terrorist activity.

At least two additional sources have confirmed to me that the Saudi national is set to be deported as early as this week, contrary to statements made by Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.

The House Homeland Security Committee is now requesting a classified briefing with Napolitano to get to the bottom of the issue, according to an exclusive report from The Blaze.

Napolitano denied anyone was being deported in a heated exchange Thursday with Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) during a House hearing.

“I am unaware of anyone who is being deported for national security concerns at all related to Boston,” she said. “I don’t know where that rumor came from.”

The Homeland Security chief said the Saudi national was not “technically a person of interest or a suspect, that was a wash.”

But Duncan questioned the wisdom of deporting someone who was at the scene of a terrorist attack.

“Wouldn’t you agree with me that it is negligent for us, as an American administration, to deport someone who was reportedly at the scene of the bombing, and we are going to deport him, not to be able to question him anymore, is that not negligent,” Duncan asked.

Napolitano refused to answer the question.

“It is so full of misstatements and misapprehensions, that it is just not worthy of any answer,” she replied. “There has been so much reported on this that has been wrong. I can’t even begin to tell you, congressman.”

Last week Steven Emerson, of the Investigative Project on Terrorism, told Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity that Alharbi had been set to be deported “on national security grounds.”

“You don’t arrest their citizens – you deport them,” Emerson said regarding the Saudis.

An Immigration and Customs Enforcement official told me that it was a case a “Saudi being in the wrong place at the wrong time.”

The official, with knowledge of the case, said Alharbi’s status has changed – but as it now stands – he will be sent back home.

“They don’t like the negative press,” the official said of the Saudis. “The guess is he will probably be allowed to leave without a lot of hype in order to avoid political sensitivities with the Saudis.”

ICE sources told The Blaze that a separate Saudi national was in custody -- and that individual was in no way affiliated with the Boston attacks.

This is about what I expected, that this Saudi guy in the hospital was more than a mere "person of interest". I suspect he has something to do with this bombing and apparently there's some dirt that could really stain the Obama administration.

http://teamsternation.blogspot.com/2013/04/boston-teamsters-to-form-human-shield.html

Teamsters from Local 25 in Boston will protect the family of bombing victim Krystle Campbell during her funeral tomorrow morning. Members of the Westboro Baptist Church are expected to protest.

Local 25 was contacted by some concerned citizens of Medford asking for help to keep members of the Westboro Baptist Church from protesting the funeral of Krystle Campbell, scheduled for tomorrow morning at 10 AM in Medford.

Local 25 President Sean O’Brien asked all off-duty Teamsters to participate:
Teamsters Local 25 will be out in full force tomorrow morning at St. Joseph’s Church in Medford to form a human shield and block the Westboro Baptist Church from protesting the funeral of Krystle Campbell. The Campbell family and friends have already endured immeasurable amounts of heartache and tragedy this week, and deserve a peaceful funeral with time to grieve privately.

Westboro Baptist Church should understand that we will go to great lengths to make sure they don't protest any funerals of the victims of the past week’s tragedies, and that those we lost receive a proper burial.

Teamsters Local 25 represents 11,000 hardworking men and women from the Boston area.

Why are these imbeciles protesting this funeral? I thought there a group of bikers, that kept these dolts at bay.

yes ken did it many times  . atonino inoki even suceeded in this and hogan did body slam andre . there is a video on this . no small feat he was 479 pounds around . even more at the end .

None of that matters. Remember that back in the 80s, McMahon acted as if other wrestling federations didn't exist, especially in the buildup for WrestleMania 3. Andre the Giant was undefeated for 15 years and that was that, as far as he was concerned.

And "The Slam Heard 'Round The World" became iconic.

I'll give credit where it is due: Hellwig had problems with more than a few guys with whom he worked. Rick Rude was one. Surprisingly, Jim has spoken well of Rude in shoot-type interviews. He also offered very kind and humble words about Randy Savage after he passed.

But, his online "feud" with Hogan is laughable and seen by many as a pathetic attempt to stay relevant.

Bret mentioned in his book a story describing how Ultimate Shit-head totally blew off a kid from Make-A-Wish at a live event. The kid had cancer and had his heart set on meeting UW. ALL of the guys made a point to stop by and greet the kid, including the heels. When told of the kid's presence and wish, Hellwig told WWF officials that he doesn't like to be interrupted while "preparing" for a match, but to tell the kid and his family that he would stop by afterwards. The rotten cunt instead bolted out of the arena after his match, and that poor little kid never got to meet his "hero."

Is there ANYBODY in the wrestling industry that has a decent word to say about The Ultimate Warrior?

A woman I'm fucking right now has 100k in student loan debt and a master's degree. She's now making shit money, broke, and doesn't know what to do to get out of it.

I've also got tons of friends with 30-60k in debt, they can't pay it, lots of them defaulted, their wages are now being garnished and there's no running away from it.

Stay out of debt whatever you do. If you have to go into debt keep it below 10k $. When you meet enough college graduates, you realize they are not making any more money than then people without degrees.

But they are more knowledgeable, have broader horizons, and are more interesting to talk with. That's the real benefit of college, that it enlightens you a lot about the world.

A master's degree in WHAT, minority transsexual chicken clucking?
35  Getbig Misc Discussion Boards / Wrestling Board / Re: Andre the Giant - Feat of Strength on: April 21, 2013, 04:26:33 PM

That's right, I forgot about that disc.
I've heard/seen the story several times between Heenan's book and the shoot interview he did with RF Video. A couple other guys have mentioned it, too.

It's a shame, though. Hellwig came into the Fed at the PERFECT time: an era which yearned for the exact things he had to offer: big muscles, cartoonish gimmick, and lack of wrestling ability. He really could have taken Hogan's spot, and Vince had huge wood over the prospect. The old man even put the strap on him in 1990. If James had just been willing to develop, he could have had the wrestling industry by its Deca-atrophied balls.

But instead, he thought he knew everything and didn't need to evolve. And, between not learning the rest of the "wrestling biz" and being a pain in the ass to do business with in AND out of the ring, the Ultimate Asshole's biggest payday came from suing McMahon over use of his character likeness.

The last time I heard anything about Warrior, he was either wrestling in some podunk federation in Spain (where JBL's old flunky, Orlando Jordan, was champion) or he's still whining about Hogan, the one guy who put him over at WrestleMania 6.
36  Getbig Misc Discussion Boards / Wrestling Board / Re: Andre the Giant - Feat of Strength on: April 21, 2013, 04:21:12 PM

Nobody really cared for Hellwig. Andre wasn't thrilled to be working with him, and their working relationship was only made worse by the fact that Jim never gave Andre a chance to do one of his favorite spots in which he would take a couple of clotheslines and then get his arms tied up in the ropes.

Well, Ultimate Jim never backed off to let Andre hit the rope spot. The idiot just kept charging Andre, then going onto the next spot in the match. This went on for several matches. One night, Andre'd had enough and decided to stick his fist out as the Ultimate Prick made his usual charge. Hellwig's face bounced off of Andre's hand, legitimately knocking him senseless.

The next night, Ultimate Jim charged very gingerly at Andre, giving him ample room and time to happily tangle his arms.

Heenan talks about it in the ultimate warrior bash dvd that the wwe put out.

Without special scholarships or wealthy parents, it is impossible NOT to take out loans. I got no help from my parents, I worked full time and went to college full time and I was a cheap skate and I still had to take out loans. Never went on vacations either.

Going to a university, not just a trade school or a community college, the tuition is far too high.

Well, there is joining the military.

If you're willing to get shot at for Uncle Sam, you can ge the post 9/11 GI-Bill.

As I said, Sirota, Matthews, Burnett, Amanpour, that professor on Uygur's show, et. al. were all hoping the Boston bomber would be the caricature that I described as, "Billy Bob Bubba Williams of Negro-Keep-Runnin', MS, hoisting a "Don't Tread On Me" flag and rocking a "I (heart) Sarah Palin" wife-beater tank top, with his half-dead hounddog in the back of his beat-up pickup truck.

That wasn't the case with the bombers. It's not the case here, which is why many lefties are a tad miffed.

We're talking about the issue of terror here. You're stuck on the election. Obama won! YAAAAAAAY!!!!

And what do we have to show for it, again?

Oh that's right!!! High unemployment, high gas prices, and now terrorist attacks on American soil.

But, hey, elections have consequences.

Obama lied terrorism thrived.

And, that's the issue here.

They define al-Qaeda as a hierarchical terrorist organisation such that if you kill 'x' number of leaders then the whole thing falls apart."

Because "Obama got Osama", terrorism (and Team Obama didn't even want to use the word) was dwindling, Al-Qaeda was on the run, and America was supposedly stronger.

Well, that narrative has been literally blown to pieces. This was what the leftist lapdogs in the media feared, which was why they were hoping and (vritually) praying the killers were "white Americans". One actually was, technically.

i think we heard this same old song and dance before this last election, but, hey, keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better

We're way past the election. We're talking about the actual impact on the country, as in lack of jobs, higher premiums, just to say the least.

But, hey, all those jobless folks and those bleeding cash via higher premiums can take comfort that Obama won the 2012 election.

Take a look at the unemployment levels and the skyrocketing healthcare premiums. Those are items about which Americans are crying.

And, the irony of it all is the bulk of the wailing is coming from the folks who voted for Obama. But, hey, elections have consequences.

BFD - a conservative leaning paper criticizes a Democratic POTUS

Let's get real for a second

terrorism kills very few people in this country

guns kill 30k every year

so if we're going to do nothing about guns then why should we do anything about a much much much much smaller problem?

Since when is the UK Telegraph a conservative paper?

"They've fallen into the same trap that the Bush administration did early on," says Tom Jocelyn, a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies think tank who tracks the movements of high-value al-Qaeda targets.

"They define al-Qaeda as a hierarchical terrorist organisation such that if you kill 'x' number of leaders then the whole thing falls apart."

But the early information on the Tsarnaev brothers – born in Kyrgyzstan to a Chechen family, but living in the US for up to a decade – points to just how blurred, in reality, the distinctions between al-Qaeda and its affiliates can become.

"It's a hybrid thing, that's the problem," says Aaron Zelin, a fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy who has written extensively about the decentralisation of al-Qaeda. "It's a unique threat, there's nothing like it and that's why people have a hard time grasping what it is."

Looked at that way, Mr Obama's "confidence" – and that of the American public – is likely to be badly shaken by what is emerging from Boston.

As usual, every time yet another Obama failure pops up, you don the kneepads and crank out the excuses.

That bold statement is precisely why Benghazi keeps getting swept under the rug, as well as the liberal idiots' shameless cheerleading that the bombers would be "white Americans" (technically, one of them is; but that ain't what those rubes wanted).

I guess politicians no longer have the right to be concerned about or wonder what the American public may be thinking in times of crisis.
