Good point but I guess I was referencing old school 80's and early 90's. IC Champs were fighting champs...Chico Santana, Muraco, Valentine etc back when wrestlers were men and not swim suit models

Ummm....how would you categorize former IC champ, Ravishing Rick Rude?
77 Getbig Misc Discussion Boards / Wrestling Board / Re: Bad Booking of Bryan on: May 14, 2014, 05:49:31 PM
It makes sense except that the crowd really doesn't want to boo Cesaro. By making him a heel, McMahon is trying to dictate to the fans what their reaction should be.

They basically screwed up with Cesaro.

Well, they never officially turned him face. Cesaro was still a heel, as part of the "Real Americans". You couldn't turn the entire crew face. Jack Swagger is irrelevant enough, as it is.
78 Getbig Misc Discussion Boards / Wrestling Board / Re: Bad Booking of Bryan on: May 13, 2014, 10:12:08 PM
He seems stale, right now, no momentum.

I'll bet they're regretting turning Cesaro heel, as he would be the answer for a new face champion.

And nobody has a Money-In-The-Bank briefcase.

INBA financially could NOT afford complete Wadda testing for all competitors (let's say 100) per contest.
Australian Pro Rugby is the best example how easily is to detect doping, those guys/clubs have everything & they get busted.
This is 2014, not 1980 !.
I have done only Sport Genetic test ($ 345) for 15 genes & shows what I was taking 6 months before Shocked
Going against real Olympic games dope testing, no chance amigos.
Reminder: cops need just 1 body hair to screw you.

I believe the procedure goes that the top 3 or 5 finalists get tested. Do you really need to test the guy who placed 10th in his class at a drug-free show?

INBA's website says they use WADA standards.

I think Caesaro would have been a great choice grooming him for a later World Title Feud. Back in the day the IC title was just as Prestigious as the Heavyweight......it was the working man's belt. Think of some of the people it elevated, Hart, Savage and should have meant more for Henning....

I wouldn't say it was just as prestigious. I certainly didn't think it elevated the likes of Marc Mero or Goldust. I thought back in '98 it would have given Ken Shamrock a push. But, that didn't quite happen.

When he lost to Val Venis, that pretty much watered it down from there: Road Dogg, Goldust (again), Godfather, Jeff Jarrett, D'Lo Brown, Chyna.......
81 Getbig Misc Discussion Boards / Wrestling Board / Re: Bad Booking of Bryan on: May 13, 2014, 06:50:49 PM
So let's say they have to strip him....who is on deck? Please not Orton again......

Who would you choose?

The only babyface (other than Cena) that could possibly cut it as champion, at this point, would be Sheamus.

After all, he did beat Bryan in 18 seconds for the World title and he beat Cena twice for the WWE title. Grin

LMAO

Time to "develop" him? Dude was in his mid-20s and still missed open dudes at 15 yards lol.

What does his age have to do with anything? He barely played a full season as a starter.

Tebow cannot consistently throw. All this victim stuff would make sense if he was a consistent player. But coaches knew it was luck when he hit a dead-on pass at 40 yards. NFL QBs need to make a dead-on pass at 40 yards 9 out of 10 times. With 1-2 defenders all over the receiver.

Tebow thrived on broken plays. Once they forced him right and guarded every man, he was rendered ineffective. Once Belichick showed how to beat him, EVERYONE started beating him.

No one is making him a victim. I said he needed more development; but, no one wanted to do that, because they couldn't without the media circus.

How did "everyone" start beating him when he never got to start again, after leaving Denver? How many full games did he play and LOSE, post-Denver?

He was jeremy lin. He was a phenom with a new style and the league had to adapt. And once they did, he was a consistent loser.

He can't pass. It's that simple.

To be a "consistent loser", you actually have to play consistently, which he didn't.

OMG you know nothing brother, stop. wow just wow, like talking to a 12 year old. The closer you can use the drugs without getting caught gives you a better edge, if you come off to early the benefits are smaller hence why people risk it and take it closer to the date of testing. Six weeks is more then enough.

I know a powerlifter who does Test no ester daily injections and stops 10 days out and passes the test. You have no clue brother, very sad

So, he gets his blood, urine, and polygraphs done. The organization has a profile of his blood (when it's clean)? I doubt it.

Again, if it were that easy, virtually NOBODY would be getting popped on drug tests. Some cheat and pass; some cheat and get caught; and some actually don't cheat and look pretty good.

But, of course, that simple concept flies over your head.
84 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: CT Fletcher calls out Leroy Colbert During His Steroid Test on: May 13, 2014, 03:01:42 PM
Ha, passing your own test, that you, yourself set up, and know exactly when will happen.

Let him sign up for WADA testing that usually randomly happens 10 - 15 a year for weightlifters*, and he'd be hiding in his bathroom, yelling "he ain't here, come back later" in his best female voice.

(not that that's the best barometer of truthfulness either).

WADA does the testing in the INBA where he competed and won the 2011 World titles. I believe his open challenge still stands.
85 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Michael Sam....Drafted to the St Louis Rams on: May 13, 2014, 02:04:14 PM
Tebow is'nt in the league because of what defenses did to tebow lol.

he rode an awesome defense and kicking game + unique style nobody had film on + tons of excitement to a nice little streak.

since then, he's sucked. Defenses eat him up. in that final preseason game, he had to pull out a magic win to barely escape the 4th string scrubs that would have been out of the league in a week.

Tebow isn't in the league because no one wanted to take the time to develop him with the media circus that follows him.

Tebow didn't ride an "awesome defense" (Denver's D was next to last in the league when he took over). If anything, he made the defense better by not turning the ball over as much as Orton did. Plus, the heavy-run offense kept the D off the field.

People had plenty of film on Tebow. It only take weeks to get it. Defenses made the mistake of not consistently staying on him and keeping guys back (except for Belichek). They'd lay off for a series or two, let Tebow hit one or two big plays, and it negated their dominance most of the game (see that Broncos-Bears game from 2011).

Tebow was feast or famine. In that playoff game against Pittsburgh, he was struggling most of that first quarter. Then he hit that one bomb to Thomas, and it was as if a switch clicked in his head. Suddenly, he's carving the Steelers D to pieces.
86 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: CT Fletcher calls out Leroy Colbert During His Steroid Test on: May 13, 2014, 01:49:32 PM
Him admitting to drug use does, which I believe what the Oprah interview was about.

Agreed. But he admitted to them only after he got banned and his titles yanked. He denied using them, even after WADA had the goods on him.
87 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: CT Fletcher calls out Leroy Colbert During His Steroid Test on: May 13, 2014, 01:48:38 PM
I never said anyone juiced for 50 years Einstein, I said you can juice for 50 years and beat a drug test. Piece of cake, you do not know what you are talking about and for the record, everyone does beat them all over the place everywhere, you are just to naive to think they are beating the test, it is that simple, 6 weeks off.

The only IDIOTS who get busted are the ones that used compounds that stay in the system for long, there are 100 of compounds and most stay in the system for a long time but some do not AND THAT IS WHAT THE NATURALS USED

test prop
test ace
test suspension
test no ester

Tren Ace

NPP

EQ ace

Masteron Ace

anadrol

Halo

anavar

and much much more are impossible to trace after 6 weeks of being off. IMPOSSIBLE

Yet, we have cases of people getting popped for some of those very same drugs, that you claim are impossible to detect after mere weeks of cessation. Did they not get the memo?

And where are all these people beating the kinds of tests that Fletcher took?

Beating a mere polygraph test? Plausible! A mere urine test? Believable.

Both poly and urine? I'd buy that.

But, a blood and urine test, with his hormone levels monitored? That's quite a tough nut to crack.

Yes, people attempt to beat drug test (some are successful); but the idea that, if everybody ain't clean, then nobody is clean is patently absurd. And your only gauge of who's clean and who isn't is HOW GOOD THEY LOOK.

88 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: CT Fletcher calls out Leroy Colbert During His Steroid Test on: May 13, 2014, 01:40:11 PM
Are you sure about that?
Im not going to google it but i thought he came clean because he got bubbled by his former team mates.

Some of his teammates got popped themselves and figured they could save themselves by outing Armstrong. But, that alone doesn't get you banned for life and stripped of your titles.
89 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: CT Fletcher calls out Leroy Colbert During His Steroid Test on: May 13, 2014, 01:32:50 PM
I dont think they did , did they?
I thought he never failed a test.

He didn't fail their old tests. When they collected his blood and had its levels on file and started testing him after that, they caught him and banned him for life, stripping him of his Tour de France titles. When the sponsorships and money started drying up, then Armstrong confessed to taking anabolics.
90 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: CT Fletcher calls out Leroy Colbert During His Steroid Test on: May 13, 2014, 01:27:39 PM
McWay stop being naive man, wow, you are a fully grown older man and you still believe this shit?

50 years juicing and after 6 weeks off you can beat any blood test, anything and everything, how can you not know this man, and if you do why would think drug test mean anything knowing this.

If you could beat any drug test by going off six weeks, they would have NEVER caught Lance Armstrong. Heck, NOBODY would get popped if that were the case. And didn't somebody here just mention that at least one steroid stays in the system long after cessation of use?

Fletcher made the challenge; nobody took him up on it. So, he gets the test done. Yet, we still get this.

The naivete falls on you. Let's face it. The only way you'd believe Fletcher (or anybody else) is natural is if his physique looked like garbage. 50 years of juicing? So, that would mean Fletcher's been supposedly taking anabolics since KINDERGARTEN.

The health problems he currently has often occur with obese people. Fletcher was once way over 300 lbs (and far from ripped at that weight).

CT's statement at the 2:00 mark pretty much says it all.

CT Fletcher calls out Leroy Colbert During His Steroid Test and other haters because of 2 videos Leroy made about him and steroid use. Here's CT Fletchers video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBC1WG1lnwU

Here are the 2 videos Leroy made calling Ct Fletcher out on steroid use:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXl_YYX1Jng

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqibqhE3uG4

Leroy is making a response video for the newest Ct Fletcher video that will be posted soon.

I thought CT and Leroy squashed this. CT send a YouTube message, saying how much he respected Leroy (as an elder); but that he's not the only one with the God-given ability to get 20" arms without steroids.

And Leroy was very soft-spoken, claiming how touched he was by CT's rather mild (especially for CT) response.
92 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: CT Fletcher calls out Leroy Colbert During His Steroid Test on: May 13, 2014, 11:26:36 AM
Well of course CT has used alot of juice if he didn"t you really think the rest of his bloodwork would be so fucked up? If CT is natural then what did he do to get such fucked bloodwork?
My guess is he used to use a shit load of juice, ran huge powerlifter type cycles(alot of harsh orals) got bloodwork done years ago and found out he fucked himself up and n ow he probably dosn"t use much juice unless he is getting ready for a lifting meet. I doubt he got clean just to prove Leroy wrong, this CT guy got the bad news years ago and probably dosn't use much of anything anymore. daily user No/ roids up for a power meet/yes. def years of AAS usage because he tried to be a bodybuilder before powerlifter from what I know.

Lots of overweight people have bad blood work. CT's eating habits weren't the best in the world, during his powerlifting heyday and that's probably come back to bite him.

And he doesn't do any powerlifting anymore. He's won three bench-press titles; so he has nothing to prove in that area. The last time I checked, he won the INBA World Heavweight and World Masters Heavyweight bodybuilding titles in 2011 and the Masters Overall at the NPC Gold Coast last year.

The end of CT's "steroid test" video thanks DR. Richard Kim and PacificMD.com. Well, guess what Pacific Longevity and Dr. Kim specialize in? Growth hormone and testosterone replacement. It's hard to take CT seriously when his doctor makes a living pushing hormones.
http://pacificmd.com/

Dr. Kim talks about his own "testosterone replacement therapy"

The first reply to his video:

Wouldn't that mean, if anyone could catch CT taking something, it would be this guy?
93 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Sean Allen on: May 13, 2014, 11:18:00 AM
Not a bad point but he probably felt excluded from the "club" of the IFBB and resented it because he was so much bigger than the guys who 'made it.' In the '90s-early 00s, it was cool to have a Pro card.

Now he probably feels relieved he never went down that road. It's a dead end for anyone who isn't Phil or Wolf or Kai, or Jay/Ronnie.

I believe he did win a pro card, winning the Masters Superheavyweight division at the 2011 North American. Unfortunately, he tore his pec and looks like Toney Freeman (minus the legs).
94 Getbig Main Boards / Politics and Political Issues Board / Re: Crist: Race Motivates GOP Opposition to Obama on: May 13, 2014, 10:59:19 AM
Oh, in life, Crist is a winner.
In politics, he's a winner too.
He lost in 2010, but he'll probably win this next race and could very easily be a VP selection in 2016.

He's popular with hispanics. He brings FL with him. He's very experienced. Hot wife. He has great hair & presidential look. Now that the tea party madness has passed, a lot of repubs sitll like the dude.

Scott is (or was) popular with Hispanics, too. Both he and Crist got about half of the Latino vote during their elections. Crist knows that too many mindless black people will vote for him en masse, simply because of that "D" by his name (he got less than a fifth of black votes in 2006).

95 Getbig Misc Discussion Boards / Wrestling Board / Re: IC title tournament on: May 11, 2014, 09:29:44 PM
I guess I was wrong. Barrett won the tournament and beat Big E for the belt.

Looking at some old-school footage, do you realize that during the transition between the "New Generation" and "Attitude" eras, there were IC title tournaments three consecutive years, due to the champ being injured.

1996: Ahmed Johnson goes down. They hold a tournament; Marc Mero wins it.

1997: Steve Austin nearly gets his neck broken; IC title gets vacated and another tournament is held; Owen Hart wins it. (Note: Both Hart and Mero beat Ron "Faarooq" Simmons in the finals. Mero beat the gladiator version; Hart defeated the NOD one).

1998: Triple H blows his knees. One night tournament occurs on Raw; Ken Shamrock ends up with the gold.

Quit living in the past. All those guys you named all are retired and moved on. What others think or thought of them is not important. Focus on the present. Smiley

I'm not living in the past. I'm stating that all the stuff you're saying now, I've heard (literally) for decades about past bodybuilders.

You're the one, waxing nostalgic about Arnold and how acceptable he supposedly was. And he's far more in the past than Ray was.
99 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Branch Warren wins 2014 IFBB Europa Dallas Supershow on: May 11, 2014, 03:05:22 PM
It's dead, bro. Bodybuilding is dead. Let it go. Embrace the new, healthier, more sane look society wants now. Leave the Heaths and Ruhls with the Egyptian pyramids where they belong.

And what look is that? People thought that Shawn Ray was "too big". Heck, they'd even say that about Frank Zane if they saw him in his prime.

You're making my point, yet again. All the stuff you're saying now is almost VERBATIM what other people were saying 20 years ago.
100 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Branch Warren wins 2014 IFBB Europa Dallas Supershow on: May 11, 2014, 01:51:20 PM
Inflation maybe?

To a degree. But, that doesn't account for why only the winner got paid back in Arnold's day. One year the prize money actually went DOWN, from $1000 to $750.
