I can't remember exactly where he placed, but I think it was top 10.

DDT is great because it can be executed against anyone...not having to pick someone up, etc.

Worst move...the Rock n Roll Express double drop kick...oh, brother Roll Eyes

I wouldn't consider that the worst finisher. That might go to the Bushwhackers' battering ram.
77 Getbig Misc Discussion Boards / Wrestling Board / Re: WWE Top 50 Finishing Moves on: August 13, 2014, 10:40:48 AM
Watched this DVD by the WWE the other day out of boredom. I think what they did was employ 2 high schoolers to steal clips off youtube and make the film. That was the kind of quality it was.

I was never a fan of Regal, found him boring and stale. However, he was an excellent host/commentator for this. Never thought he would be this good. So was Alex Riley. Matt Striker was the worst. Absolutely horrible. You would think he was teaching Used Car Sales University. And that Drew McIntire couldn't say anything other that "ain't getting up" it seems.

Anyway, the list was a bust mostly. JBLs Clothesline From Hell was #50. Striker just went on and on about it being innovative and the most powerful. Guess they never watched any Rick Steiner matches when he was with Kevin Sullivan in the Varsity Club. (before they told him to tone that Steinerline down) Or maybe they never heard of Stan Hansen.

Honky Tonks neckbreaker was rated higher than Rick Rudes. WTF?

Eddies splash was rated higher than RVD which I agree with. Snukas was the highest of the three.

The Piledriver was middle of the field and only Lawlers was rated. Orndorff put him to shame with his.

Bastista had a better powerbomb than Kevin Nash.

Sting was listed for the Scorpion Death Lock but Bret listed higher (no surprise with politics)

Edge was nominated for the spear. Goldberg would spear him out of his shoes though.

I watched this on Netflix, but you can see it on youtube as well. Won't "spoil" the top 3. But you can easily guess what they are.

WHAT!!! The "Shake, Rattle, and Roll" rated higher than the "Rude Awakening"?

Did The Godfather made this list, after partaking of some of that sticky-icky?

If Jake "the Snake" Roberts' DDT isn't in the top 10, that is utter blasphemy.

How could the piledrive be middle of the pack, with the Undertaker's Tombstone being in the mix?

I'd also nominate 'Taker's Last Ride powerbomb.

Nash was just a lazy fuck..
No effort..
Refused to take any kind of bumps...

Ask CM Punk about that, after Nash drilled him at SummerSlam. He nearly broke Punk in two.
81 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Branch and JOJ Leg Workout on: August 13, 2014, 07:43:47 AM
U could say since bbing is a "cult" with not many kids interested in it like a real sport like football, basketball, baseball, etc... I'm also willing to bet not many mentally sane people are willing to pin themselves boatloads of drugs everyday, every few hrs

Real athletes with real genetics are guys like usain bolt, Michael phelps, Kobe Bryant....

I'm willing to bet that if bbing is more mainstream with kids growing up wanting to take this "sport" up u would def see more flex wheelers and levrones but we all know that'll never happen

You're associating "real" genetics simply with the popularity of certain sports/venues (i.e. basketball, track, football, etc.).

Bodybuilding's lack of popularity isn't so much about steroids. It's about the concept that bodybuilders don't do anything with the muscles they have except pose and flex.

I'll give you a classic example. One of my best friends was a big wrestling fan, just like me, when we were kids. His favorite was the Ultimate Warrior; mine was Hulk Hogan. Big muscular wrestlers were cool to us.

In 1992, I went to his house to watch the WBF championship, since I didn't have cable at the time. I had to give his dad $15 to order the event. He watcked all of two minutes of the championship and bounced. Previously, he'd complained about all the WBF promos that were aired on WWF Superstars and Wrestling Challenge.

Bodybuilding was boring to him and he didn't see the point of it.

And, let's not forget about American Gladiators. There were top amateur men's bodybuilders and IFBB pro female bodybuilders who were the stars of that show, including....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fp5F2kFm-50

Case in point: Billy Smith, the bodybuilder was basically unknown. As "Thunder", the American Gladiator, he was on TV every week for years.

this proves its all drugs and how individuals respond to them......the fact that Branch has won the Arnold twice and 2nd at the Olympia s\ays more about the sad state of judging in the IFBB than it does about the man's grotesque physique.

That mentality makes people think the only reason they're not Mr. Universe or Mr. O is lack of syringes. All the steroids on planet Earth won't turn Justin Beiber into Brock Lesnar.

If it were all drugs, there'd be way more Mr. Olympias, ASC champs, and Mr. O runners-up.
83 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Branch and JOJ Leg Workout on: August 12, 2014, 02:46:31 PM
agreed mate, any kind of intense stimulus will allow the muscle to grow, the muscle doesn't know sloppy form and half reps from perfect full reps.
The joints and tendons may suffer because of the ultra heavy weights though.

Especially with age. I don't do as many superheavy sets as I did 10 years ago.
84 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Vic wins in Tampa on: August 12, 2014, 02:43:56 PM
serious question:

If they will give an IFBB pro show to a 2x convict, then why won't they give the Olympia to a grapefruit fucker? Let's see what happens at the Olympia this year...

Two Olympias have posed butt-naked (Scott and Schwarzenegger). And supposedly another Mr. O is gay (Dickerson). So, apparently that isn't an issue as far as who gets the title.
85 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Vic wins in Tampa on: August 12, 2014, 02:40:52 PM

WOW! Actually with the extra smoothness, she looks even better.
86 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Branch and JOJ Leg Workout on: August 12, 2014, 02:39:04 PM
What case, in both shows the winners won with perfect scores, thats where the judges placed them, no amount of handwaving is going to change it.
Branch didnt 'nearly win' in fact he only just scraped 2nd.

I know that's where the judges placed them. Some of those same judges have give perfect scores to Phil Heath. And, you know how well that goes over.

The point is Warren's leg training is appaerently effective, as it got him that high at the big O and in the top 10 multiple same. Jackson has placed top 10 multiple times, too.
87 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Branch and JOJ Leg Workout on: August 12, 2014, 02:31:28 PM
Jay won with a perfect score, hardly a heartbeat away.
he was only one point in front of Dexter.

Dorian won with a perfect score in 1994, too. I rest my case.

Warren beat one Mr. Olympia and came close to beating another.
88 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Branch and JOJ Leg Workout on: August 12, 2014, 02:25:48 PM
This is the first time I've them do legs.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqcS1piY9aE

Disgraceful. And I see why JOJ has chicken legs.

Kings of Half Reps.

Then explain Branch Warren's legs, as he's doing the same thing.

You do realize these guys have each won multiple pro shows and placed top 10 at the Olympia multiple times, with Warren a heartbeat away from winning it all in 2009.
89 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Kali Muscle - now he takes supplements, before he didn't? on: August 12, 2014, 01:02:12 PM
come on now, a pro card? with his terrible structure he'll be lucky to pose for schmoes

I've seen folks with lesser physiques get pro card.

His bio says he was born in 1975. Guess what that means.

Next year, he turns 40; ergo, he can win the Masters Nationals and turn pro that way or win the Masters class at the North American (ala Sean Allen).
90 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Which pros have you learned the most from about training on: August 12, 2014, 12:58:42 PM
I'm a talking about actual knowledge about training
1. Cedric mcmillian
2. Shawn ray
3. Dorian
4. Brandon curry
5. Ben p.insky
6.Toney freeman

.... Ronnie was impressive
Pros who I scratch my head about

Branch
Johnnie
Kevin levrone... I've watched some of his videos and some of the stuff he came out with Huh

Here's one that I don't think anyone has cited: Bill Pearl

Edit - I stand corrected. Donny cited him.

Another one of my favorites: Mike Francois.

If he did molest her daughter, then he fucking deserved it.

However, it could just be BS to justify her actions and gain sympathy.

The police are reccomending the guy be charged. If he gets convicted, does she get to finish him off, cajun style?
92 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Vic wins in Tampa on: August 11, 2014, 10:53:19 AM
U also gotta consider 2007 is also 7 years ago!!

That's a long time , plus Vic is no dexter

If Martinez hadn't blown his knee in 2008, Dexter Jackson may not have that Sandow on his mantle.
93 Getbig Main Boards / General Topics / Molesters: Regular or Extra Crispy? Wife burns hubby for sexing 7yr-old daughter on: August 11, 2014, 10:49:41 AM

RENTON, Wash. – A Washington woman is behind bars for setting her husband on fire after he allegedly molested her 7-year-old daughter.

According to KOMO, Tatanysha Hedman, 40, allegedly poured gasoline on Vincent Phillips, 52, and set him on fire as he slept.

Phillips then ran out of their apartment and drove to a local convenience store screaming, “I’m on fire!”

Phillips was rushed to the hospital for treatment of severe burns.

Hedman told investigators she set her husband on fire because he hurt her daughter, who is Phillips’ stepdaughter. She also told investigators she did it because shooting him “was too nice,” according to KOMO.

Read my and E-Kuls posts on page 2.

You dont have to be into bodybuilding to post here. Lifting weights is just not about bodybuilding, like competitive or pro bodybuilding. You can easily be into health and fitness and lifting weights and still post here.

The title reads, "Getbig bodybuilding, figure and fitness." Thus, one can be into the fitness aspect of lifting weights and not into bodybuilding and still post here.

Ever read the ingredients on food items? What the rule on that?

The first ingredient is the most prevalent one. The name of the website isn't "Get health and fitness" or "Get-figure". It's GETBIG.

And the first item after the title is BODYBUILDING.

There's even a natrual forum within this thread for those who prefer their bodybuilders sans anabolics.

But, you aren't going there. You're basically here blubbering about the current Mr. Olympia.
95 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Phil Heaths Advice for GETBIG on: August 10, 2014, 07:38:47 PM
But thats not what he is known for. He is known for being Mr. Olympia.

If he was not pumped full of drugs, he would never be Mr. O. He was not good enough to turn pro in basketball, therefore he would have graduated with a Bachelors degree and would have most likely been making average salary. Hardly anyone would know that he got a scholarship for basketball.

My point is YOU KNOW bodybuilders use steroids. So why are you on A BODYBUILDING website complaining about it?

If Heath went ah naturel, he'd probably win some natural shows, make a cover or two, and endorse a modest supplement company......still far from the average Joe.
96 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Phil Heaths Advice for GETBIG on: August 10, 2014, 05:45:52 PM
No it doesn't because I am not comparing him to other bodybuilders. I am comparing his success compared to the average joe. Though the average joe may not be as "successful" they at least do it honestly (for the most part). His whole success is wrapped in a pure lie. Its all an illusion.

Why are you even on a BODYBUILDING site, spouting this sour grapes stuff?

The average Joe doesn't play college ball on a full-ride scholarship.
97 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Phil Heath discusses the price of his protein on Facebook. on: August 09, 2014, 07:38:01 PM
My abs came in at around 170 lbs when I was on 60-70g protein a day. My abs came in at around 170 lbs when I was on 250g protein a day for a full year. Same fucking amount of muscle, my friend.

My abs came in around 140 lbs, when I was on 60 grams of protein a day. My arms, legs, chest, back, and shoulders came in at 210 lbs when I was on 250+ grams of protein a day for several months.

98 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Big Ramy- strong as he looks huge! on: August 09, 2014, 07:29:54 PM
Eg 1 Ronnie

Eg 2 Dorian

But Ronnie didn't wipe out the competition his first show. While Kevin Levrone won the Nationals and Mike Matarazzo won the USA, Ronnie won his pro card in relative obscurity at the Universe.

Dorian qualified for the Olympia by winning Night of Champions. Ronnie made the Olympia automatically, based on his weight-class win at the Universe.

When Dorian debuted at the Olympia, he placed 2nd. When Ronnie made his debut, he placed "16th".

It took Ronnie a while to become the beast he ended up being.
99 Getbig Misc Discussion Boards / Wrestling Board / Re: There goes Cesaro's push....and Jack Swagger may be getting his groove back. on: August 09, 2014, 07:22:53 PM
It's REALLY OVER now for Cesaro. Just a few months ago, Jack Swagger couldn't beat Cesaro to save his life. On Smackdown, Swagger made Cesaro tap to the anklelock.

This feud with Rusev has put Swagger back on the map, while Cesaro is wallowing in irrelevance. So much for winning that Andre-The-Giant Battle Royal.

For over 25 years. And I've enjoyed every bit of it.
