Al-Qaeda training camps in SA - report 2013-05-13 08:27 http://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/Al-Qaeda-training-camps-in-SA-report-20130513 Johannesburg - Security officials have been monitoring the training of al-Qaeda militants in South Africa for several years but have not taken any action despite incriminating evidence, it emerged on Monday. A report by the Daily Maverick, based on a year-long investigation, shows that the police’s Crimes Against the State specialised unit as well as the State Security Agency are aware of the military training camps. The camps are in three locations in South Africa: the former apartheid police base at Vlakplaas, a secluded farm in the Klein Karoo and another location in the Eastern Cape. The police’s investigation into the camps was called Operation Kanu. British and US intelligence agencies have apparently pressured the South African government to act on any possible Muslim terrorist threats but so far little action has been taken. The Vlakplaas base is linked to the well-known Dockrat family and a mosque in Laudium outside Pretoria. The Dockrat family have repeatedly denied links to al-Qaeda. |

I have a ritual
I take a pre work out, something that gives me a buzz
I then put on short video clips, usually something military or extreme , then something dirty then some thing extreme again.
The whole cocktail usually has me in the right place mentally to work out
In my home gym I have music like Asia or the Cult that keep me going.
I also keep records of what I have done and set my self targets for each work out

Every one is different, my RHR is low, when I wake up it is in the 56
But my BP is out of wack with the high being to high and the low being to low (140 of 60)
I am still healthy.
As my doctor said the ranges that they give you are averages and some times you falling out of that range is just you being you.

Its 7 in the morning here. I just went to give my mom flowers and ginger chocolates ( Her favourite) And I made sure my kids bought presents for their mom (I even had to give the cash) My work here is done  |

This show is brutal
Last night a dog dies in a hand grenade attack and can hear her final howl
The camera man walking behind a guy who then gets blown up on a command detonated IED
And a dog that survived an IED attack has PTSD and cant handle any loud noises
I was actually very affected by the show.
But still watch it, I have a new found respect for what's happening and what people are doing

Areas-wise, for example, I'm in Cape Town, I've stayed in Sea point, which is cosmopolitan, near the sea, tourist friendly, expensive overall compared to rest of province, not as expensive as Camps Bay or Clifton, but in relation to country, higher propertyy prices, fairly safe, but there are car break-ins, etc, but not home invasions or hectic shit
I also lived in outskirt of town in the northern suburbs, there its predominantly Afrikaner middle to upper middle class, you can still walk around the mall and not see black people sometimes, very racist still, and interracial couples are a no-no, whereas in the City of Cape Town itself, its "normal". In the northern suburbs if an afrikaner youngster brings home a dark skinned gf or bf, its worse than saying they're gay or they're dealing crack in church to 5 year olds and sodomizing nuns.
In Cape Town itself which is where I stay now, the rent for a nice 2 bedroom apartment can get you a 3/4 bedroom house with pool and garage, garden in Northern suburbs. For biz purposes I need large central premises, cost me a fortune. Town still has old victorian homes, lots of old dutch influence, loads of tourists, everything walking distance
The southern suburbs are mainly old english money, or students and english middle class historically, since new south africa, also very coloured
Low income blacks and coloureds reside in "locations" and "coloured areas" bit far out, shacks, pre-fab housing and low cost construction, semi paved roads
Low income whites fall somewhere in between, usually run down housing around commercial and industrial areas. Foreign blacks same thing
I live in the Northern Burbs and there are more coloured peope than white. My street has a ratio of 5 to 2 (Coloured to white) and the coloured people have much more money than whites due to AA, when was the last time you where here? |
