My wife works in advertising and a few years back she and a coworker helped a Michigan nudist group on an advertising campaign to recruit new members. She said it was old fat white folks. One of their major obstacles was weeding out the single guys who only joined to use the organization as a singles club. Most of the rejects were black guys who were under the assumption they were all swingers.
Fucking black people

My guess you didn't understand the ending it was one of the best maybe not most spectacular endings but very deep and you could see a lot of thought was put into the ending

I once in my life eat at Subways and to be honest the "bread" is about the most disgusting thing IO ever had, I am coming from a country has a very rich tradition in regards to bread, Subways "bread" doesn't even taste like toast, it has this weird fluffy light feel and taste to it.
Never again.

Shit is crazy, very impressive. Looks like the German Army headed for the Eastern Front. It looks like they are expecting to go somewhere with some rough terrain, as they had about 20 D8 Caterpillar Dozers.
We used the trains for more important matter than to move a few tanks

Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: question about cardio calorie burning estimates
|

so, if one does cardio and the machine says he burned 500cals in 1 hr of whatever, does that mean 500calories total or 500 above what the body burns anyway at rest?
and also, how would the machine know how much calories are burned, the machine dont know if its used by a mass monster(say, cswol 280lbs,son)or slender guy(me,170lbs)?
Fitness and fat loss in terms of a car metaphor: Your body has a certain fuel efficiency rating that dictates how many "miles per gallon" of fuel (calories) you get. The higher the fuel efficiency, the more efficient your body is and the less fuel you need to get around. Bodies are designed to be very fuel efficient, so most of us have really high mpg. Because of this, we tend to put in a lot more fuel than we need, which our bodies thoughtfully store for us in the form of spare gas tanks (fat). With me so far? Great. Doing cardio is like driving really fast - you burn more fuel while you're doing it than your normal baseline mpg, but it doesn't do anything to change your fuel efficiency overall. So when you're not driving fast (which is most of the time) you go back to burning fuel very efficiently. Over time, if you really work at it, you can totally burn off those excess gas tanks with cardio, but now (since you weigh less) you need even less fuel to run at normal speeds. So it actually gets a lot easier to over-fuel and re-start that whole "extra fuel storage" problem all over again. Muscles, OTOH, are like switching from a 4-cyl to an 8-cyl engine (or more, for really beefed up muscle cars). You get more power and speed, of course. But at the same time, bigger engines will always burn more fuel, even when they're just idling (sitting on your ass or sleeping). So by building muscle, you essentially tank the hell out of your fuel efficiency. And since muscle is denser than fat, you can get a lot smaller while still weighing the same amount, meaning that not only do you have to fuel a "gas guzzling" engine, but you're still pulling a lot of weight around that has to be fueled as well. Only it's healthy weight - reinforced chassis and frame, enhanced stabilizers, pimped out exterior, etc - not spare gas tanks. So there's less need to cut calories, although you may still have to if you need to lose fat. Oh, and the whole thing works best if you use the high test stuff (i.e. eating clean). Editing to add: This is a very general analogy meant to apply to "average Joe weight loss guy" and more specifically to fat loss (I realize cardio has other benefits, but that wasn't the original topic). Also, this analogy may not apply when cardio = HIIT (HIIT is it's own special universe of cardio with it's own laws) and breaks down completely when you are doing cardio at competitive levels (i.e. duh, Micheal Phelps doesn't have to watch what he eats.) Everybody been drinking that for awhile now, like 2 years. It's the best tasting vodka to me by far, coconut is yummy. Now that it's getting known, it's expensive now...Voli is another good up in coming vodka.
In all fairness, The wide majority of vodka that you can buy outside of Russia and or Poland etc. is utter shit, my grand father in law brought me some vodka to my wedding that literally opened my eyes in regards to vodka, it was the most amazing feeling drinking it, it was cool when you drank it and had that *UHMMMBUMM explosion once it hit your stomach, no burning sensation when you drink it, no hearburn or reflux. Also from good vodka you NEVER get a headache/hangover. All that shit like Smirnoff or what ever they are trying to push to the Europeans and you yanks is crap.
