Could you tell more about your spinal injury at the beginning of 70's. What were and are your limitations for your training and life in general ? How about your spinal discs, did you had any hernia or sciatic ?

as i said before,due to doing "heavy" dead-lifts(180-220kg  ) my spinal seriously injuried at early 1980s. but i was afraid of surgery, and still a problem for me now. if feel not so good, then switch to doing cables or machines. no hernia problem.

in early 1980s, when i competed at Asia Mens, only 3 or 5 competitors in heavy-weight(90 kg) mostly from middle east Iran or Iraq. and very few new face, every year almost same competitors , seems no one can drasticly improve? but till late 1980s, everything had changed! more & more guys jump to heavyweight !?? as i remember that one competitor who placed out of top 6 or 8 at middle-weight(-80kg), but within 1 year he jumped to heavyweight(+90kg) & top 3!

You mean in Taiwan, no one was using 20 years ago? Because they certainly were elsewhere, obviously.
I wonder what would make Taiwan different in this regard.
sorry, i must correct my remember. exact time is about 1990. before 1990 or before late 1980s, no bodybuilders using steroids in Taiwan. and even at Asian bb contest very few using it before late 1980s.

how do you train calves? and what rep/set regime? we all know the exercises but do you use a principle or do you have a way to utilize say ..seated calf raise to your benefit? foot position..etc... thank you in advance...
i always did standing calf-raise years before, but almost years didi't train my calf again.

Musclecenter...great pics thanks for sharing...As you and I age (both over 40) I think bulking up is for the younger guys, do you?
I would please be interested to see your daily nutrition plan-diet...
Do you have now or any time in your earlier years had a bad injury that prevented you from training or did you have to "work around" ceratin body parts?

thanks, my protein daily diet is very simple now: american orange, apples mixed with whey protein (50-60 grams) chicken breast (50-60 protein) fish (30 grams protein) I injuried my spinals 30 years ago due to heavy deadlift. So now mostly doing smith machine squats only. but high reps(20-30 reps)
