These are my "before" pics I suppose. 5'10 237lbs This is what 120/80 "high blood pressure" and "bad skin" aka the same skin I've had my whole life, looks like no pump in the gym pic. sorry I was holding all sorts of beach shit in the pic they say the fukking smog is the reason you have such beautiful fukking sunsets. lol, sorry, line from 'get shorty' cool physique.

There are no steroids that are or have been made for animals that I am aware of. IF you have information to the contrary I would love to seee it. I'll agree that anyone that stays on tren year round is asking for trouble. EQ is a great drug, use as much a you can and with caution as with any other steroid and come off as need be. This is not rocket science and that is another mistake most "gurus" make. They over complicate the hell out of all this stuff.
the vets up here 'canada' sold plenty of juice to bodybuilders. you must mean that there were no specific formulations made for animals, and that they used the same chemicals as were made for humans?

Gaspari while not blessed with great structure, was very good for a while and burned out early Had Gaspari turned pro later, and been on similar compounds to others, things may have differed. Gaspari was way ahead of the pack with conditioning for many years
Many will say he was blocky, or no arms, wide waist, narrow shoulders, but he actually had a better structure and conditioning than many current pros
Labrada shouldve taken the O in 89, and 90 was between Labrada and Ray. Haney was off.
Imagine Haney on Dorians stack... Things couldve gotten ugly!
there was an incumbancy back then. Mr. Olympia did not lose. no matter what

You are mistaking out of proportion quadriceps with best legs ever overall. BTW, best quads ever all things considered belong to these guys IMO .. funny thing is, Demayo was known to have the best quads in ifbb in the 90's. and in that pic he is in his prime and Platz is about 15 years retired.

5'8, 225-230, shredded back in 1987-1988. Huge guy, great physique, little narrow but great guy nonetheless. Whatever happened to him? Why'd he quit competing? I'm impressed that this physique was built without the massive dosages we see today. Dude even has the vacuum pose he can pull off with a super small waist. wanna hear something hilarious?? in his day, he was criticized for having a thick waist!!

the trouble i see for long standing champs like anderson and GSP is that every fight is 'just another title defense'.
where as for their opponent, it is 'my one chance to make the bigtime'.
easier i think to have the fight of your life in your first title fight than to be defending it one more time.

Teen Champ. Could have been Mr O if he stuck with it. Never heard a reason to why he just up and dropped out of sight when his career was taking off.
saw him a few years ago at the olympia or Arnold. had his own supplement line. looked really geeky almost like rick moranis. seriously if you told you it was moranis some people might believe it.

The hardest part is the mental aspect. As bodybuilders, we create an entire identity around being bigger than most. Friends and family describe us based on our unusual appearance. Gym buddies congratulate us on getting bigger and stronger.
When you drastically downsize, in many ways, you give up your whole persona - for some, an identity they created and maintained for decades even.
Being a bodybuilder is like wearing a superhero costume, you get to feel and look like a god, but its mostly fake and temporary.
Its good to have the introspection that you are probably doing something bad to your body and need to stop. Not trying to be cynical, but how long do you think youll last downsized before you blast back up again? For many, they honestly cannot handle how they feel when losing 20,30+ lbs of muscle
arthur jones called them little boys in gorilla suits.
