1 - Ratings agencies & issuers colluding to put AAA ratings on high risk mortgage backed securities. That's not capitalism. That's fraud.
2 - Mortgage brokers & salesmen loaning money to people that should not have qualified & could not afford it. Whilst the mortgage companies went tits up, the salesmen that got commission from the sales have not suffered at all. Making these loans was not capitalism. It was fraud & greed.
3 - People getting in over their heads on mortgages they couldn't afford. That's not capitalism, that's stupidity.
4 - The whole banking/finance industry kidding themselves that properties could grow at 6-8% a year forever.

The US Banks took extraordinary risks. They sold products who's collapse brought the markets down. They made them that complex regulators couldn't understand them. They packaged dodgy loans in such a way that the products got the top rating.

This is France, France has grown up and has it's own culture and set of rules. A swimming pool can apply whatever rules it sees fit for the benefit of the health of it's filtration system and it's patrons. Let us consider how many years France has had freedom and swimming pools (many) let us consider how many years the Burkini has been in existence (few). This swimming pool has not changed any rules, it is operating as it has done for years. It is the norm there & accepted by all. There have been no cases in the press of guys in surf shorts getting thrown out of the pool, no cases of hindu's in turbans being thrown out of this pool. Is this because it never happened OR is it because  the surfers/hindus accepted the rules of the land and either changed or exited the pool ? I think you know which.

Now -let's examine this case. The Burkini s a very new invention. The woman in question not only got asked to leave the pool, she also went to the press AND threatened to leave the country. If you cannot see this for what it is, then you are either being argumentative for the sake of it or you are espousing irrational liberal views.

Now - to put this in perspective, I lived in Yatsuo Village, about 30k from Toyama City, on the North coast of Japan. I lived there in a small 1 bedroom appartment for 6 months. I was the only westerner in that village. There was not a single other white OR English speaking person there. When I went to the pool there, they made me wear a swimming cap AND made me get out of the pool every 30 minutes to rest. Neither of these were necessary but I went with the flow as opposed to attempting to override the majority that were clearly used to swimming that way. I did not go to the press and I did not threaten to leave the country. I did however, learn a lot about accepting the culture of the host country.

It is quite simple, if you live in a country with a culture that is very different from your own, it is like swimming in a river. First you try to swim against the current but it is a painful experience and you get nowhere. In the end you adapt to the norms of that culture and are rewarded with an experience and understanding that cannot be put into words. The Muslims should give this a go.



Tell you what - go out now & buy "Burned Alive" by Souad. This is the first hand account of a muslim woman in the West Bank. Fortunately someone came by and stopped this just as she had the glass to her lips. In the end, a European aid worker saw her & had her rescued as the hospital was not treating her, feeding her or giving her water. She now lives in France and she has a love for the freedoms of France and a hatred of what is happening to women in the Muslim world. She has the true view on Islam. This 'burkini' convertee to Islam who is enjoying her 15 minutes of fame over the incident hasn't got a fucking clue. Send her back to the west bank & see how she fares.

Now - look at the west. Sure - we have a beer. Sure - girls walk around with mini skirts on - but if you really think that we are morally inferior to people that smother babies, beat girls, fuck 12 year olds, kill their sisters, set fire to pregnant women and throw acid on them, then you have been drinking some serious kool-aid.




The majority of muslims are not crazy whackjobs. The majority simply do not oppose terrorism. The majority want the Sharia law in the countries they were given the gift of being able to live in. Go look at Sikhs, Hindus, Buddhists - where's all the news stories about their human rights ? They don't exist because unlike the muslims, they are not waging a propoganda war against the West from within. A war that is, that you have brought into hook, line & sinker.

The day you see Muslims on the street opposing terrorism. The day you see Muslims on the street supporting western culture (which despite what you think, is NOT inferior). The day you see Muslims trying to integrate is the day that the Islamists will be weakened. As it is, the MAJORITY of Muslims in the West want to change the cultures of their host country which is also the Islamist view. That does NOT make them 'whackjobs' but it does make them a threat.

That's just playing the hand God dealt you, I'm afraid.
