Why is this important? Why should we care?

Ever notice something about children? Say between the ages of two to ten years. How they are so happy most of the time? How they love to play? How ever thing in life is about having fun. I was at the airport and noticed that as the adults seem beaten down and trudge along laboriously the kids skipped and ran around laughing. Even when just walking they try to have fun and look at everyone and smile and looking for someone to play with.

But as you go through life trying to be a sincere and good person only to have people fuck you over and take advantage of your good nature, one that most of us are born with, you become jaded, suspicious, resentful and a bit bitter (Uberman). Now you go through life looking, expecting and often finding the worse in people. Life begins to lose much of it's hope and optimism. Your day consists of a lot of head shakes and rolling o your eyes. You alternate between disgust, anger and apathy. You even become inure to other people's goodness and even suffering. After all, it doesn't really matter. Life sucks. As the FB crowd likes to say "FML."

So when you see that a person has somehow manage to go through life without getting jaded. To still want to trust and see the good in people. In the case of Arce, as a coach, he has made a career of trying to bring out the best in a person. That one will be given the benefit of the doubt and be respected as a human being until proven otherwise. And to want to why someone would be so thoughtless and inconsiderate. It's such a mystery.

Whenever someone dismisses, takes advantage or abuses an act of kindness and consideration they in their own small way has contributed to undermining a civilized society.

And people wonder why our culture has become more crass, dishonest, obscene and uncivilized.

I thought you read your Bible. Have you forgotten that it's one thing to help out a friend or a relative but quite another to help out a complete stranger?

LOL! I just thought about you the other day. Someone emailed me a youtube vid saying he just saw the best routine for triceps. As soon as I saw the guy do tricep pushdowns with a rope I thought about how my old friend and oft nemesis would be having a fit and probably punch a hole right through the computer screen. Yet you stubborn and cantankerous old fossil still thinks no one listens and no changes. I probably eat no more than 150 grams of protein a day. I don't even count anymore. I know that's still too much for your taste but I'm an unrepentant carnivore. Still, it's a far cry from the 300+ grams I use to force down a day. And you were right. It didn't make a whit of difference. Still a skinny old (and getting older) twink. 

Can you back up that statement? Can you provide any proof that anybody lost money due to me. Presumably, as a man of honor, you wouldn't make such serious accusations unless you had proof. And certainly you wouldn't lie.

Considering the stigma you have for unmarried people, and as the clock keeps ticking faster and faster; and opportunities diminish exponentially, and the time comes to "settle" with a stoic resignation, suddenly decent men with "gentle hearts" who isn't so quick to betray the "sanctity of sacred text" won't look so naive, gullible and even weak.

A man in his fifties in reasonable good shape and decent income still has a pool of women 25 years old and up available. A women in her forties. Not so much. Especially a "plain Jane."

I suggest that you be a little bit more appreciative of gentle hearts and one not so quick to betray the sanctity of unspoken agreements or even formal vows.

You make it sound like that's a bad thing. It should give you hope, as your pool of decent marriageable men shrinks exponentially with each passing year, that there are still some decent and honorable men still out there.

I keep saying "I never left" I'm just not as active. I would be if I had more time. I'm in very delicate negotiations right now. Very important business this internet stuff.

I just wonder if it's purely a coincidence that in sports requiring physical strength and endurance Blacks disproportionately dominate. They are about 10-12 percent of the US population but they are about what? 75% of the NBA. 65% of the NFL. 99.9% of the Olympic sprinting and distance runners. How many American Blacks have been heavyweight boxing champions since Floyd Patterson in 1959 compared to Whites? Again taking into the percentage of the populations. How would they rank if they took more interest in tennis and baseball? Even swimming? How many Blacks have won the Mr. O or just dominate the upper ranks compared to Whites again taking into account the percentage of Blacks in pro bodybuilding?

I am not surprised at some of the responses here. The very same people who bemoan the slow but steady erosion of a decent society and culture mock an honest sincere act of decency, honor and trust. When the decency and goodness of a man has been violated it use to be that the violator was rebuked and chastised. Now it is the decent and sincere man that is mocked and ridiculed as being naive and gullible.

I've always consider Arce a man of honor and integrity. It seems I have grossly underestimated him. You are part of a dying breed, my friend. Take it all the way to your grave. You humble me. You humble all of us.

Let the mocking continue by generation nothingness.

I agree that it is a myth that Black slaves were intentionally bred to produce big and strong off spring. But I've also read that the trip from Africa to the States was so grueling that only those with the strongest of constitutions survived. Many if not most didn't survive the trip. By strong constitution I don't mean physical muscular strength but rather that ineffable quality that makes one endure great physical and mental hardships that would break or kill a lesser human being.

I feel no loyalty to those who discredit me, insult me, or verbally attack me. In WhiteWidow's case he broke a vow that he himself pledged.
