4)  Dont' be afraid of the heavy weights.  Get under the bar, squeeze the shit out of it, and push like the person spotting you won't pull it off.  Your brain is your weak link.  Get your brain to think you are strong by overcoming fear of the weight and you will become stronger.

I feel your pain brother. I've been cutting to get to the 198s. Started @ 228, and I'm down to 207. All my lifts have suffered. Just up your protein and hope for the best!!?? Huh. Good luck with the meet.

Warming up with squats and got a little ahead of myself. Only had 315 warming up when I leaned too far forward and had to shrugg it off. Man I felt weak Embarrassed. Of course, I did take last week off, so I was a little rusty Grin.

I do rack pulls this week, then pull off a platform next week. If it starts getting too much, I take a week off and do speed days or light rows.

I had a problem a few years ago too. It turned out to be bad form. Try reducing the weight and make sure you warm up good.

I wouldn't count on you're shoulder being healed yet. The cortisone shot will cover the pain for a while. Just be careful and allow time to heal. If it is a tear, it will be a slow process. However, it sounds like tendonitis to me.

Saw my doc yesterday. She said it seems to be a small tendon tear. It may take a few weeks before I'm 100%. No more squats for a while. Angry

Doing squats last Thursday and felt a pop in my left knee on my last set. Not really any pain, but it still pops when I walk and very light swelling. Could it be a Meniscus tear. Will it heal on its own since it doesn't bother me too much? Thanks.
