I have a martial arts background, and consider myself pretty well skilled and very fit and strong, but i have to laugh at all these 'fighters' who think cos they train some MMA or muay thai, that they can take on anyone . Anything can happen in a real fight, your martial arts stuff only really matters in a controlled match, a 'real' fight where its life or death is ten times harder than walking into a pre arranged match with rules...

Its obviously genetics plain and simple. Theres loads of guys who have followed diets, training, and sleeping year after year who never will be huge. I know plenty people like this, same as i also know people who train literally chest, biceps and shoulders 4 times per week, eat junk, party hard, and yet they look amazing. Nothing anyone can do about genetics boys

Im only in my 20s but been training 11 years without any breaks, and i have several aches on my shoulder, knee, and lower back that i constantly need to work round. I would definetly not be training for low rep sets every single session if i could change anything. Gained alot of strength but also not really worth it when you live most days with these injuries
