Who the fuck prints out and saves their gas receipt?
Arce is a good dude. Probably a guy you could depend on to help you move a few pieces of furniture on a Saturday afternoon and think nothing of it. But you see, in QBs fucked up mental process he is losing this little "interaction" battle and therefore is demanding some level of concession to make himself supposedly look/feel better, even it's something as simple as a 10 dollar piece of paper. Its a principle thing to him which the vast majority of regular bros could care less about. The guy is fraud and when push came to shove and it looked like he was going to meet another person from this site, dude just found a way to bail. |

that would never fly. once it's lowered, there ain't a politician on the planet who would be able to promote RAISING the limit. it's like how the legal age was pumped up to 21 thanks to reagan holding infrastructure money hostage against any states that refused to comply with the national minimum drinking act (which only popped up thanks to immense pressure from MADD). everyone knew it was bullshit, but once it got passed you'd never find a politician willing to stick his neck out for his opponents to accuse him of encouraging teenagers to drink.
if they lowered it to 0.5, it'd stay there. period. which means you could be 100% sober but if a cop claims you were swerving and you got metered at 0.6 thanks to having a single beer an hour before, now you have a DUI on your record. because that's how justice works.
True with Reagan but if memory serves me correct Clinton was instrumental with having it lowered to .08 by threatening to withhold highway construction money. My whole issue with the BAC threshold is mistakes happen with blood/breath testing and it's not an exact science by ANY stretch. There has been a case in Texas and another in Mass I believe of outright falsification of blood tests by lab workers. Over 5000 false results in Texas and not sure about Mass but it was a huge clusterfuck as well. It's an out right injustice to have that on your record because some asshole in a lab is fucking with the results. |

It does seem a little odd.. The cell phone story seems hacky. One moment the phone is off, the other it is on, but even though it is on, it doesn't allow him to make or receive calls or texts for at least an entire day after arrival, yet a complaint was made regarding international roaming costs....  Phone issue aside, this all could have been resolved by QuickerBlade if he simply had picked up a public pay phone and called Arce. Don't have extra change, dial it collect, every pay phone gives you 3-simple steps to do so. This is considering the fact that Arce's phone was on and had no service disruption, while QuickerBlade's phone was supposedly out of service. Phone aside, what I REALLY WANT TO KNOW IS... What role, if any at all, does Latina Nurse Teresa play in any of this, besides potentially trying to raise your stock as our resident Pick-Up artist? Regardless, what's done is done. Arce is a good guy that went out of his way to pick up a fellow forum member. Quickerblade had a bad phone upon arrival and did not immediately see Arce standing in his field of vision and figured Arce had missed their mutually agreed upon arrival time. Shit happens.. I say you both let it go and next time QuickerBlade goes down to LAX for a Pick Up Artist convention, you guys meet up, take pictures while having a 3-some with Latina Nurse Teresa and post those pictures up for us to see how friends can overcome any obstacle, regardless of the size of the stethoscope hanging by her waist... Either way, I heard Steve ended up picking up an even better pick up artist, his name is still somewhat of a mystery.. " 1" Hahaha fucking classic OMR post right there!  |

I don't really care much for the BAC threshold when it comes to this unless it is outrageously high. Show me evidence of poor driving. Show me video tape of outright impairment.
Dude can have 2 beers, is driving PERFECTLY but has a .051 when passing through a checkpoint and that calls for thousands of dollars in fines and a mark on his permanent record? That's not the type of country/police state I care to live in.

False - include michelle, the illegal aliens aunt and uncle, pelosi, feinstein, schumer, jarret, napolitano, holder, cummings, reid, an old wooden ship with a large section for steerage, oars, a refugee camp in kenya, and thats a good start.
Imagine having a few beers and wings with your buddies and seeing THAT unfold on the television!! Talk about a time to fist pump, high 5 and celebrate! |
