3026  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: 3 weeks out on: June 15, 2008, 12:52:14 PM
Thanks guys !

just saw a regional show yesterday, it was the best thing I could have done to motivate myself at 3 weeks out. It was very motivating seing guys that were outmassed by the whole line-up place top 3 because of their conditionning and hardness

so I don't care about being outmassed too at the show, I'll just keep leaning out and try to be very dry so even if I don't even place top 3 I will be happy with how I looked  Smiley

Can't wait about off-season time tho, I will have to step it up a notch to compete in the open class next year.

which university are you studying at and what is your major? no 20y/o should be devoting time to BB

Yeah, you're right man... That kid definitely works hard, drinks all his shakes, takes his NO Explode religiously, rinses his ground beef, carries a meat-filled cooler with him everywhere, trains for 2 hours a day with very heavy weights, doesn't take time off the gym, and therefore has no need for steroids.

When you have genetics and a work ethic like that, you don't need steroids. You can accomplish this naturally!

lol..you for forgot the creatine, BCAA, Yobamine, Ginger root, ZMA before bed..and ofcourse POST work out shakes with wazy maize  Roll Eyes

In the natural order of things... caveman shit, etc... I think you're supposed to kill the guy honorably.  Then the kid is officially yours.

Rob, PM me, I want to ask you about some ideas for a site
3030  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Waistline limit in Japan..fat people are in trouble on: June 15, 2008, 07:59:12 AM
You'd be surprised...guys and girls here on average are skinny and structurally smaller than your average American. Now i haven't walked around with a tape measure...but put it this way...when you go to the beach, you actually have to look hard to find the "fat" person, and even then said person is nowhere near the size of the beached whales in America.

walk around any mall in the US anywhere anytime  Roll Eyes

maybe you see 1 in 10 guys that look like the care about their appearance enough to stay in shape.

either you see skinny chicks or fat chicks..it hard to find a woman these days that appears to be in good shape..

people ask how many time that you work out, when I say that I try to walk every morning and lift 3-5 times per week. People look at like me I insulted their mother. Where as if I said that I watch TV 5+ hours per day and eat junk food they would feel a certain kinship.
3031  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Happy Father's day!!! on: June 15, 2008, 07:34:42 AM
LOL... kinda cruel, but it's gotta be kinda true.  You know when the kid is 12, you'll be hearing "You're not even my real dad!"  Even though the real dad is guarding a bar stool somewhere while you're paying for that kid's health insurance and food.

The only good thing is that a woman with a kid will likely have sex with you very quickly.

hahaha...what do step dads answer when another man ask "is that your kid?"

also you do all of the hard work, pay the bills, deal with the kid's tantrum on a daily basis while getting zero respect while the real father visits  once per month and gets all of the credit for the being "real father". Then the kids saves up his allowance to buy his "real father" a gift..

3032  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Hottest Pro Bodybulder of past and present? on: June 15, 2008, 05:40:16 AM
gayer than being a step dad on father's day
3033  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Happy Father's day!!! on: June 15, 2008, 05:39:42 AM
Of course that includes stepdads

being a step dad has to be the worse job in the world..you are literally feeding and taking care of the byproduct of another man.

you can't even discipline the kid. I would never seriously date a woman that had a child
3034  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Waistline limit in Japan..fat people are in trouble on: June 15, 2008, 05:30:43 AM

"Under a national law that came into effect two months ago, companies and local governments must now measure the waistlines of Japanese people between the ages of 40 and 74 as part of their annual checkups. That represents more than 56 million waistlines, or about 44 percent of the entire population.

Those exceeding government limits 33.5 inches for men and 35.4 inches for women, which are identical to thresholds established in 2005 for Japan by the International Diabetes Federation as an easy guideline for identifying health risks and having a weight-related ailment will be given dieting guidance if after three months they do not lose weight. If necessary, those people will be steered toward further re-education after six more months
"

"But because the new state-prescribed limit for male waistlines is a strict 33.5 inches, he had anxiously measured himself at home a couple of days earlier. Im on the border, he said."

3035  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: should a bodybuilder be able to dunk a basketball? on: June 14, 2008, 08:33:53 PM
Yes.. You can't play basketball without conditioning. You also need good functional strength.

I'd say baseball players are the least athletic because baseball is a skill sport more than anything. Otherwise you wouldn't have fat mexicans like Manny Ramirez being one of the best in the sport.

that fat mexican as you call him makes $20+ million per year

Given the amount of hype about how great the city is I was surprised by the dirtyness of San Francisco.  And of course it's obscenely overpriced.

yeah, that china town area requires constant application of the hand sanitizer
3040  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: This man makes his living as a personal trainer: Would you hire him on: June 14, 2008, 02:12:49 AM
You can have all the book knowledge in the world and it doesn't make you a better trainer. Just like anyother trade, you can graduate but the real knowledge comes with YEARS of CEU's and most of all hands on knowledge. Do you think a doctor for example (not comparing PT's to Dr's) just does his/her 8-10 years of schooling and that's it, their done learning for the rest of of they're careers?

do you tell your clients that you are on HRT and that is where your gains and low BF comes from?
3041  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: $10/gallon will solve all problems on: June 13, 2008, 08:56:18 AM
Bay and Goat, my intention is to get the American public off our addiction to petro. Ofcourse the end goal is a renew/reusable form of fuel. I am merely presented and idea to get us to reduce our demand for it.

My point is that without financial motivation we will never change.
3042  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: $10/gallon will solve all problems on: June 13, 2008, 07:53:55 AM
This is prolly drivel, as comparing the driving we do to that those in larger nations do is nowhere near an accurate measure - but we are at $8 a gallon now, and no one is thinking to catch a bus.

Not a thought, gov tried some campaign to encourage us to bus it and that was met with hyena like laughs and disbelief of government while we drove around in our cars.

good, that means that the general population has the money to absorb the price thus paying a higher tax to the gov.

the people that are able to use the mass transit system will save a fortune..
3043  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: $10/gallon will solve all problems on: June 13, 2008, 07:52:12 AM
Diesel is more expensive than gasoline in europe.

Diesel = oil.

Hope this helps.

What you need is Hydrogen fuel, solar power or sth like that.

you should look up the process of seperating the hydrogen atom from water...guess what..that process uses oil  Undecided

you live on a small island that has 1 bus..tell gov to buy a second thus increasing productivity 100%
3045  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: $10/gallon will solve all problems on: June 13, 2008, 05:45:01 AM
lol, brutal bullshit here, i hope you are kidding.

Only country without general speed limits is germany, and even here we have lots of speed limits - plus, the amount of used gasoline is rising enormously when you speed.

Americans tned to drive big cars with big engines, while i.e. in italy and france, the bestsellers are small cars with small engines.

Plus it would free us from the arabs and save the environment.

Problem would be the transition time until new methods are available. With rising gas prices, EVERYTHING from living to food to entertainment will be super-expensive.

not really, just need to announce a plan like

"We will add a $1 tax to gas every calendar year for the next 5 years". Immediately people will start to buy the diesel and alternative options.
3046  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: $10/gallon will solve all problems on: June 13, 2008, 05:35:08 AM
i already wrote that a few days ago.

 Grin Grin

cool, this has been on my mind for a while yet the average person seem not able to grasp this concept.

this would immediately make people start to use mass transit or seek alternative options ( bikes, mopeds, car pool, diesel, electric, walk).  But as stated no politician would get elected if he mentioned this, this is the long answer that we need.
3047  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: $10/gallon will solve all problems on: June 13, 2008, 05:32:09 AM
well when you are paying out the ass for everything from food to electronics you will see the flaw in this-----------the trucking industry is a huge part of America and at $10 a gallon----everything we take for granted now will be 3-5times the cost

stupid and not very well thought out argument Undecided

from my understand most trucks run on Diesel, the tax increase would not extend to Diesel
3048  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / $10/gallon will solve all problems on: June 13, 2008, 05:19:09 AM
In the US I still see tons of SUV/Trucks with only 1 person in it. Those things are gas guzzlers yet people are still driving them. Also the average American car is pretty large.

I read that in Europe they are average nearly 40 mpg while we are averaging 25 mpg.

Since we can't control supply (OPEC), I contend that we should control our demand.  This can be accomplished by taxing gasoline to the point where it reaches $10+/ gallon.

Also keep in mind that current price of gas $4.50+- is not because there is less oil available, but because the suppliers are setting they see fit.

This will also provide a financial incentive for Americans to buy more fuel effiecients cars, which in turn would start a  cycle of car manufacturers making cheaper and more efficient cars (win/win). And also make us look at alternative options.

we don't need short terms fixes, we need long term solutions unfortunately no politician will would be elected under those conditions.

if you are against please state why.

Totally. Stavios was a paying customer.

I've had that a couple of times and I don't even look 'strong and muscular', just they know I train/own gym. Some male outweighing me by 100lbs and a whole foot taller would freely say "hahah, you're into lifting weights, you got that covered"  Roll Eyes
