Im upgrading teh computer for dis shit.
Why not MP?
MP is great but microsoft has made it a bit#$ to play moded games espescially online,so another words I would probably have to pay full price($60) to play this game online instead of the ($5 )I would pay for it normally it sucks but I have to stay offline to keep playing my X box,but not as big a deal for me multiplayer is very time consuming I used to play rainbow six vegas online and you would start one mission and the next thing you know six hours have passed and you are just getting started I would rather just play single player missions and walk away after an hour or two, might be three or four with this game though looks f%$king amazing that tank scene looks real and you can almost feel the intensity leading up to the battle

Warm up really well. If you're doing P90X, they do an adequate warm-up. Foam rolling might be helpful. What you have planned should be ok.
well thanks for the advice Princess ,it ended up turning ugly on me and got worse until it shut me down completely and I couldn't get up for couple of days. I am mobile now but still cant train because it still hasn't healed all the way yet, which really sucks because I only had a week left and I was done. Do you think a chiropractor could help if it is just a muscle strain or pull?

I hurt my lower back doing bent over dumbbell rows earlier this week (Monday)I have back and leg training tomorrow for p90x.It is mostly just going from different forms of pull ups(wide, close grip, switch grip, etc)to lunges no weighted squats or dead lifts.
my back only really starts hurting after I sit down for long periods of time,my question is if I keep it moderate and only do exercises that don't strain my back is it OK to do the workout?

It's really amazing how USA used to support him back in the day when Osamam was fightening with Russia and after his mession was completed, they were chasing him the last 15 years to kill him! If you are really dead ya shaikh Osamam, have pace in Heaven. (Allah's Mercey be upon you). Yeah we kinda stopped supporting him once he started killing Americans, I am guessing English is not your first language because you just did your own form of terrorism on it just now if you can't spell try using the spell check ,it's the longest button on the right at the bottum of the screen

I am on my forth week of P90X and I have lost 13 pounds so far,the workouts are intense !I have also been sneaking into the gym here and there and I have gained strenght as well as leaned up. Go for bulk in the cold months and do p90x towards the summer if you start now you will hit your peak just in time to hit the beach.

Yoga is sum rough shit.
If you wanna get lean and in shape then there's nothing wrong with it.
You should do a before and after journal thread on the training board.
I will probably do that I am 2 weeks in so far, yoga is an hour and a half long the rest of the workouts are only an hour I am hoping next week I will be more ready to deal with it then I was this week

One thing I've noticed about this program is that it's not for big, overweight individuals (I'm not saying about you but you do fit the "big" description). Look at all the ads, the commercials, etc. These people were really not that overweight to begin with, I would but them almost in the category of "skinny/fat". Looking at the exercises, plyo's for example, you would never have an obese person do these. Look, it's a legit program from what I can see, but it's not for everyone, not for the obese, not for people with heart disease and definitely not for people with bad joints!
I am having problems with some of the yoga, believe it or not the yoga is one of the most intense cds out of all of them and there are moves I just dont have the flexibility to do right now but I am hoping it will get better the more I stretch and the leaner I get

How many pairs of DB's did you buy for home?
A major problem w/ PX90 is that if you live in an upper level floor of a condo/apt you can't do all the jumpping around shit.
I bought 160 lbs of weight ,a weight rack, two sets of dumbells, and a set of 9lb dumbell for 140 dollars off a guy on Craigs list hell of a deal you cant buy one set of 50 pound dumbells on ebay for that money and yes I am on a second floor and worry about all the jumping too, that is one of the most intense workouts he says to land softly but at 250 that is easier said then done especially when you are tired

P90X, great for those who "don't want to get too big", but lean up. I always like these guys. Afraid their EXPLOSIVE genetics will rip their shirts, if they lift too hard. "I want to start going to a gym, but don't want to be as big as you." Reply, "Don't worry, with your genes, you have nothing to worry about." I am already big,I weight 250 right now I havent done a body fat test in awhile but if I had to guess it would probably be somewhere between 25 to 30 percent(too high) even though I have been trainning 3 to 4 times a week like normal ,my leanness and diet have suffered and turning 40 probably hasnt helped much either(not that I am making any excuses ) sometimes you have to do something radical to snap yourself out of a slump you are in

look at all the "i don't want to lose 10 lbs off my max bench just to reduce my waistline by 10 inches " assholes.
tomslut, do what works for you and keeps you coming back.
thats what I am saying I have always been that way refusing to lose size to get ripped but honestly it aint f$#king easy and I think when I do go back to my normal workouts after 90 days I will be glad and build muscle you can see off a lean frame instead of a semi fat one with big arms and shoulders

i have nothing against chaniging the way you train especially if it is something that challenges you
I do, however, take huge umbrage with the "P90x" people trying to take credit for kinda inventing this type of training
the exercises they show in that program are the same calesthetics my uncles did in the Navy back in the 40's
....and Yes- I know that it is gay that my uncles were in the Navy
it is really a bunch of old weider principles that they are using, nothing new just putting a bunch of them together and introducung them like it is something new which it isnt it has been around since Arnold competed I just look at it as a way to rip up before summer hits

I just started this workout a couple weeks ago and most say it is really challenging. The weights are the easy part the yoga and the jump trainning are what really kicks your ass.I have also found that I have no flexibility at all so I am struggling with that part of the program, I guess all those years of just going right to trainning after two warm up sets without stretching has not helped me.
Is anybody else doing P90X ?
