I think any wrestler could have worked in the Attitude Era if they changed with the times. Batista, who I believe is one of the most over rated Wrestlers ever, could have made it in the Attitude era. Warrior was way better then he ever was. Timmy only knows about Warriors backstage personality from you guys but watched his entire Federarion career from start to end. Character wise he easily could have been in the Attitude Era. What would the Warrior be like as a heel? I don't think he's one of the best wrestlers ever at all. But Timmy saw him live many times. Only a few times I have seen the crowd go completely out of control and Warrior was able to do this to crowds. Will always be bitter about him pinning Hulkster at VI.

randy orton out miz in as the marine part 3.. outcry forced a change due to orton's dishonorable discharge,
I was talking with my wrestling friends and we were just talking about how come they haven't put Orton in any movies yet? What do they have to loose? Don't all Federation movies tank anyway?

The feuds, yes. Their build-ups lasted for months - some of them even close to year. But, once they had their big match...POOF!! It was all over. There was never any "part 2." Think Piper, Bundy, Killer Kahn, One Man Gang, and the guys you mentioned above; with the exception of Andre, Hogan seldom worked another program with any of them. That's why the Hogan character wore out. After he did his paradigmatic mow-down, they had to bring in someone new to feed him, or at least build up someone to pose a threat. The act got tired, fans saw through it, and that's why Hogan tanked in WCW until they re-invented his character.
Timmy never watched the WCW version of Hulkster. But I would think that a big part of the reason why his character didn't work there is because Hulkamania was dead. He no long had the 24 inch pythons and his baldness really set in. His larger then life character was no more.

One big reason for the lousy booking was that Hellwig was shallow and extremely limited in what he could do, and so there wasn’t a whole lot they could do with him. Like with Hogan, they ran out of options - just much faster.
Part of the longevity of guys like Flair and Taker is that they could revisit rivalries. The Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior characters only knew how to get themselves over. Their modus operandi was to engage in a great build-up with a big heel, in which the heel was made to seem like they posed a legitimate threat; and then to squash the heel at the end of the PPV match, leaving no room for a second encounter.
Wrestling is about telling stories in the ring. Jim Hellwig only knew one story, and that‘s why almost every one of his matches was the same. He was a one-trick pony who quickly wore out his welcome, which is why the old man never gave in to his higher demands. If Hellwig had deserved the Hogan treatment, he’d have gotten the Hogan treatment.
One final point to consider about the booking, is that Ultimate Jim had a portion of creative control over his character both in WWF & WCW. So, if you’re going to blame bad booking, then he still deserves to share that blame.
I don't think Warrior and Hulkster were the same by squashing the heel and leaving no room for a second encounter at all. Hogan would always win yes, but his fueds went on forever. How long did it go on with Andre, Savage, Zues, Earthquake, and Slaughter? Hogan beat them all but the fueds against these guys seemed like they lasted forever. Hulksters fueds against Zues and Slaughter to me would just not go away.

I think the big surprise could be 1 last match for stone cold steve Austin
That could be huge if done correctly and could match or top Wrestlemania 28
Timmy is a 3:16 fan as well. Really believe his character was better then the Rocks. I also believe that a huge part of 3:16 success was his feud with VKM. 3:16 was the guest ref for Cole/King and nobody gave a $hit. We'd love to think he could come back and be a big draw but he cannot. He doesn't have it anymore and who could they possibly match him against? Undertaker is only an attraction because he appears once per year. HHH is only still around because of his marital status. The Rock on the other hand is in a league of his own. The Rock is above the Federation and a Worldwide superstar. It's the greatest return by any Superstar that the show has ever seen times a thousand! There's no other wrestler in the history of the show that can do what the Rock just did at WM. We'd like to think that our retired heroes could come back bigger then ever one day but it's not happening. 3:16 or anyone else for that matter couldn't do what the Rock just did.

I'll give him credit (whether he came up with it or not); he took a legit submission move and added enough "flash" to it for use in pro. It does look good.
Timmy has his favorites like everyone else. Three guys that could easily become superstars in my eyes are Orton, Miz, and Del Rio. Orton has always been a main guy but I still don't thing he has crossed over to superstardom. Miz is the total package minus a cool finisher. Del Rio should be the Federations top heel. Del Rios arm bar is one of the best arm bar/face lock submissions that the show has ever seen. He and Ricardo Rodriguez are doing a spectacular job.

Where are they possibly going with this one? Cena get abused by the Rock with promos leading up to Mania. Cena gets intro'd by that white rapper then he looses clean to him on the Big Stage. Lesnar comes out and F-5's Cena on RAW. Then Cena gets squashed by A-Train on Raw. Then the grande finale Cena gets his mouth all bloodied by Lesnar. Cenas new green outfit just says Starbucks to me. Why are they doing this to the Cenation?

Timmy enjoyed the whole day. Always love Wrestlemania! Taker/HHH should have fought on top of the Cell a little bit. That first set of moves the Rock threw on Cena with the arm drags. He really looked terrific! Sad to say that the Rock cannot stay. The guy has become bigger then the Federation. The whole entire thing made the Federations top guy look ridiculous. All the Rocks promos on RAW and then the match last night. Feel bad for Cena. The Rock didn't take away what took Cena ten years to make. But he definitely took a dump on it though. Where does Cena go from here?

Hunter is a businessman, and I'm sure he knows that having Rock around for a while is good for business. However, Hunter may be the heir apparent to the throne, but Rock is a bigger "star" in and out of wrestling. So, I agree with you that Rock's presence likely has some effect on his ego.
HHH can at least take solace in the fact that Rock will not be full-time.
Hunter is a buisinessman? He inherited something that his better half was born into. No hate toward the guy for his success. But I can run that company just as good as him and I flip hamburgers for a living. I really hope he doesn't beat the Undertaker tonight.

According to F4WOnline.com, former WWE and UFC star Brock Lesnar has signed a one year deal with WWE, which would clear him to make an appearance at WrestleMania tomorrow night. As we reported earlier, Lesnar has arrived in Miami, and according to the latest sources, he was flanked by tons of security and personnel shielding him. WWE has yet to issue any type of confirmation that Lesnar has either signed a deal, or will be appearing at WrestleMania tomorrow.

The next guys that are gonna come back are Foley, Goldberg, and 3:16. The Rock is back, HBK is back, HHH is back, and now Lesnar is back. All we need is our Oylmpic Champion to come back. Great to see Lesnar come back. I'd love to see Shane O'Mac make a return tonight.

There's no doubt he's going straight after the Rock. HHH just got so played out with that Orton fued. He took his time off and now he's ready to be back in the ring full time. The Rock coming back and looking/doing so good has got to be messing with his pride a little bit.

I think he's definitely gonna retain at Mania. Who can remember in the past couple of years two superstars turning a guy into a superstar like Henry and Show did for Bryan. That was really great work on their part. With the addition of AJ, I cannot see them taking the title off Bryan anytime soon. I hope they don't at least. Sheamus would do nothing for that title.

In my opinion, no; there will never be another Hogan, Austin, etc. Even if someone of that caliber came along, I don't believe it would go over the same in today's society.
Another Hulkamania running wild definitely wouldn't work. I cannot see how another 3:16 type character wouldn't work. Cena will definitely go over huge as another Hollywood Hogan type.
