How bad were the electroshocks at Tough Mudder during the electric eel and the electroshock therapy? How bad was the arctic enema? My buddies and I are doing a TM in exactly 2 weeks from today (Miami) Not looking forward to those shocks and that ice.
Electric Eel was the worst obstacle for me. So muddy that it's hard to crawl or get any grip, so the one wire that got you on the shoulder then gets you in the lower back and then the calf. It is quite a jolt. Electroshock wasn't as bad, just go full speed through it and you will be fine. Arctic enema was not pleasant, but not as bad as I expected. When you duck under the beam in the middle be prepared for a bit of a shock, the amount of ice on the other side is crazy so getting to the surface was actually quite difficult. When you get out you will be bright red, but a couple minutes after you feel fine. Funky Monkey was the most fun. We had an obstacle called the "Jesus Walk, about a quarter mile of knee deep muddy water, with random deep trenches, so you would be happily running along and the next second you would be over your head in water, that was real entertaining. Mount Everest was also a lot of fun. It's a really fun event though, ton of people and lots of hot chicks. Enjoy it dude

South Africa? Are you shitting me? I made the mistake of doing some contract work there.
Child rape capital of the world, highest aids rates in the world, 50 some odd murders a day, ridiculous tax rate, useless public services, "youth leaders" fighting for the poor and at the same time building 16million rand houses (about $2million)
That country is a fucking time bomb just waiting to go off.

Yep. Have said this many times! Even if she doesn't end up selling herself publicly, you always have in your mind how guys are gangbanging her after clubbing in some nasty apartment etc Heck, how fathers deal with this? I have 4 daughters, two sets of twins I am convinced it is punishment for prior sins

Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Wolrd Cup: Vuvuzelas need to go

South African soccer fans who prefer their matches to be vuvuzela-free can now take three easy steps to sonic freedom.
A user on social networking site Twitter has posted simple instructions for resetting your television's sound equaliser - a move that will drown out the drone of vuvuzelas without muting other sounds.
The instructions are:
Enter the sound settings for your TV and find the equaliser. Drop the 300Hz channel (which Samsung TVs have, second from left), and raise the adjacent levels. Save as a custom set-up (if you can).
Eric Smit, the assistant manager at Samsung Store in Canal Walk, did a spot test and found that it worked on both low-end and high-end TVs.
"I can relate to the people who are saying the equaliser can lower the sound of the vuvuzela on your TV because vuvuzelas are blown at a specific frequency. On the TV you can set the frequencies at high, mid and low level," he said.
Meanwhile, the BBC has said it is considering offering "vuvuzela-free" coverage via its red button after hundreds of complaints.
Fans say the droning sound of the plastic horns, which has been likened to the buzzing of millions of angry bees, is drowning out coverage and leaving them with aching eardrums.
Now the BBC is looking into providing "clean" coverage, which would strip out most crowd noise.
A BBC spokesman told Britain's Daily Mail on Monday night: "We have already taken steps to minimise the noise and are continuing to monitor the situation. If the vuvuzela continues to have an impact on audience enjoyment, we will look at what other options we can take." http://www.iol.co.za/index.php?set_id=1&click_id=13&art_id=vn20100615123212158C250624
