Again, you need to listen to what Don Shipley explained: the graduates were called out in random either UDT or SEAL, not based on performance because they all graduated. Anyone of these graduates during that time could have been vice versa... start at 1:57

If Don Shipley isn't contesting it, then why are you?

And again, per Wikipedia:

The Underwater Demolition Teams (UDT) were an elite special-purpose force established by the United States Navy during World War II. They also served during the Korean War and the Vietnam War. Their primary function was to reconnoiter and destroy enemy defensive obstacles on beaches prior to amphibious landings. They also were the frogmen who retrieved astronauts after splashdown in the Mercury through Apollo manned space flight programs.[1]

The UDTs reconnoitered beaches and the waters just offshore, locating reefs, rocks, and shoals that would interfere with landing craft. They also used explosives to demolish underwater obstacles planted by the enemy. As the U.S. Navy's elite combat swimmers, they were employed to breach the cables and nets protecting enemy harbors, plant limpet mines on enemy ships, and locate and mark mines for clearing by minesweepers. They also conducted river surveys and foreign military training.

The UDTs pioneered combat swimming, closed-circuit diving, underwater demolitions, and midget submarine (dry and wet submersible) operations. They were the precursor to the present-day United States Navy SEALs.[2]

In 1983, after additional SEAL training, the UDTs were re-designated as SEAL Teams

Really? He was a part of a SEAL team? He went out on SEAL missions? He didnt have a group of retred vietnam era SEALs call him out?

Yes, he passed BUD/s.

Yes, he could have volunteered to continue his training and become a SEAL. But he didnt. They layer did away with UDT and at that point they simply lumped them together, but Ventura specifically talked about going out on SEAL missions he was not a part of as he was never on a SEAL team, he was a part of UDT. UDT had a lot less training than the SEALs and did not perform any kind of direct action work.

Again, you need to listen to what Don Shipley explained: the graduates were called out in random either UDT or SEAL, not based on performance because they all graduated. Anyone of these graduates during that time could have been vice versa... start at 1:57

Thank you. Ventura has built his career on exaggerations and lies, and Kyle was known to be selfless and a class act. Kind of a shame IMO that Ventura went after him over his pride. Makes him look worse IMO.

You guys need to get your facts straight, Jesse Ventura was a SEAL

Start at 1:39 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KeO1DUtnKsE

Per retired SEAL Don Shipley who outs fake seals Smiley

So basically back then, the graduates were called out in random either UDT or SEAL, not based on performance because they all graduated. Anyone of these graduates during that time could have been vice versa...

Ronnie grossed more than $9300,000 for all his Olympia's combined.

Remember he placed 2nd to jay when he lost his title and prior to winning the Olympia, he got a few top 10 spots which consisted of prize money.....so that grossed over $1,00,000.00

A CrossFit coach might never walk again after he severed his spine during a competition in California on Sunday.

Kevin Ogar was competing at a CrossFit event when he attempted a snatch—a lift in which a barbell is raised from the floor directly to an overhead position in a single motion—but dropped the weight on his back. According to his friends, Ogar separated his T11 and T12 vertebrae, severed his spinal cord, and is currently paralyzed from the waist down.

Because Ogar is uninsured, the CrossFit community has rallied together to help pay for the medical bills. In fewer than 48 hours, people from around the world donated more than $100,000, CrossFit Unbroken owner Matt Hathcock told CBS.

“It was just kind of a freak accident,” says one CrossFitter who competed with Ogar last weekend.

CrossFit’s high-intensity workouts have exploded in popularity, and there are now about 10,000 CrossFit gyms worldwide. Though CrossFit injury numbers vary, studies have pegged the CrossFit injury rate from as low as 16 percent to as high as 74 percent.

11 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Bikini Pro Nicole Nagrani Killed an old woman crossing the road on: December 17, 2013, 05:00:43 PM
I think the bottom line here is she killed a person because she wasn't paying attention to her driving-as far as I understand the women had the right away and Nicole should have merged for her. Nicole should have been punished a lot more then she was and got off way to easy..she should not be driving for many years and her licence should have been suspended after what she has done and a hefty fine......
166 $ really thats totally fucked up and makes zero sence to me...and then she is contesting an increase in her fine to a measly 1000$-she is a complete idiot seems to have zero remorse or shame for what she did..and ya then there is the question of... what if it wasn't a older women-say a mother and her child-then would the out come have changed-.

Why is it that the people that think that Nicole Nagrani committed no crime not understand this concept that you stated?

Its plain as day!
12 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Bikini Pro Nicole Nagrani Killed an old woman crossing the road on: December 17, 2013, 09:19:19 AM
I grew up in a reasonable sized family, two older brothers and two younger sisters. My Mum was a stickler for considering other peoples feelings. She was always going on about it, think about other people and how they might feel. Mind you, she was a Nurse, so caring for others was important to her. So as a kid, my empathy wasn't genuine, it was forced more or less. Today, I actually don't believe in genuine empathy, but I just base my thinking on how would I feel in such a situation, like that old woman crossing the street, and then make my assessment based from that.

I know that religion likes to claim that without it we would all be devoid of empathy and morality, but I happen to agree with Dawkins, in that human beings are innately moral, simply because it is what works best for the Individual, treat others like shit, and you will probably be treated like shit in return, not a very good survival strategy. Treat others well, and you increase your chances of others treating you favorably, a better survival strategy. Plus, a co-operative group can achieve more than an individual, but that also creates problems when groups with differing ideologies come in contact (that's a whole other thread)

In some ways I think religious teachings on morality can be damaging, for instance the 4th commandment 'honor thy mother and father' and the bibles sanctioning of hitting children. I think this type of rigid morality has a lot to answer for, it has created countless dysfunctional families, adults and societies. When you allow parents carte blanche to treat children in such a way, without any accountability, then you are heading for trouble. Should a child honor parents who beat them, or rape them, or neglect them etc etc.. I don't think so.

I would argue a lot of modern societies deep rooted sickness is because of horrible child rearing practises, the reality of the damage parents do to their children is hidden from almost everyone. And a lot of this is because of long held Religious ideas on child rearing. You only have to look at the Nazis, almost all of them were raised in really strict and punitive environments, and often by strict religious parents. There was a famous book written in Germany about child rearing, and the basic concept was to break the childs will before they were even aware they were alive essentially, and beat them down until they obeyed orders without even thinking. This created a generation of shut down citizens desperate to obey orders. I could go on all day about it, and the issue upsets a lot of people, as the majority reserve the right to hit children. But it's not just hitting, there are countless ways to neglect a child's needs, and it happens everywhere all the time. Anyway, that's my take on why the world is so miserable, human beings need to seriously look at their child rearing practices.

I do not believe that humans are inately good. I believe we are corrupt. People lie cheat steal and kill to get what they want. Hence the reasons laws had to be created. Good examples are children who are inately cruel and selfish when they get to a certain age. If a child isnt steered in the right direction, they could lead a corrupt life.

The Bible does talk about discipline.....spare the rod and spoil the child. Although I dont agree with beatings, sometimes you have to discipline your child this way (not in severe beatings). Why do parents do this? Because we love our children and want them to go in the right path and ensure they wont do things to harm themselves

I was raised without any religion, although my Mum said she wanted to be a Nun if she didn't marry and would put stepping stones in the Garden with the Lord's prayer and such. She had a religious bent. My dad was a very intelligent man who was an Engineer, a staunch atheist, although he rarely discussed it. I had no religious pressure except for some minor Religious Instruction in Primary School. But I made some friends at school who went to Church and such so when I was about ten years old, I asked my Mum if she would take me to Church so I could see what it was all about. Needless to say I was bored witless but enjoyed meeting other kids there. I can remember thinking these kids will be really well behaved good kids and so would their families, I was shocked to discover a lot of them were terrible sinners (lol), and I realised I was already a far more moral and righteous person than they may ever be. It was my first taste of the 'hypocrisy' that is so often linked with religious people.

My only other experience with the Church growing up was through my best friend who was raised with devoted Christians, his Father beat him and his siblings mercilessly and he was made to attend Church religiously. My friend HATED his Father, constantly pointed out his countless hypocrisies and secretly wanted to kill him. Their family would take me on holidays to a holiday house they had, but only on the condition I attended Church, which I did and just paid no attention to what was being said as it held zero interest for me. Anyway, my friend by the time he was sixteen HATED religion and HATED his Father and tried to kill himself by overdosing on drugs. He failed, but his HATRED didn't die either and he left home shortly thereafter to Never go back again.

where did you learn your morals and values? How did you know what was wrong and right?

I do like your moral convictions and your stance against injustice
14 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Bikini Pro Nicole Nagrani Killed an old woman crossing the road on: December 17, 2013, 06:52:56 AM
I'm a devout atheist, but I identified with your post. Well said.

I cant force you to believe what I believe.

In my years as a Christian, its my experience that it were the atheists who held morals and justice dearly.

It was the Christians who turned the knife inside of me and stabbed me in the back and stole from me, judged me unfairly, ect.

Christians can be such hypocrites....

I for one don't believe that she dropped her phone. Well, maybe she dropped her phone after she hit the lady.

I personally believe she was talking on her phone and hence why she was distracted.

I don't believe Florida bans the use of talking on your cell phone while driving but it bans texting.

Nicole Nagrani would have gotten manslaughter if it wasn't for her lawyer using the excuse that she dropped her phone.

I hate the fact that there was no accountability on the part of Nagrani...she knows she is guilty hence the reason why she didn't appear in court. Her conscience is her witness.

Life is supposed to be precious. If she had taken her driving seriously, she wouldnt have plowed straight ahead and killed that woman. She would have done everything in her power to avoid killing another human being.

People don't care about life anymore as you see newborn babies are thrown in the trash, kids killing kids in school, ect...

The Bible warned that in the last days people were going to be lovers of themselves, that people would care more about injustice:

2 Timothy 3:2
For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred.

Nicole didn't care anymore as you can see on her twitter account her posting pics as if nothing happened.

For those saying to move on and that life goes on...If it were a member of your family that she did this to, you would feel the same.

You would feel an injustice was done and it was done.

Lord Jesus, we that believe in you need for you to come back. This world is getting worse....

http://www.wftv.com/news/news/local/traffic-hearing-woman-accused-running-down-elderly/nbhNy/

PORT ORANGE, Fla. —
A traffic court hearing played out like a criminal trial in Volusia County involving the death of 78-year-old Leona Daniluk.

A judge found the driver, Nicole Nagrani, guilty of failure to use due care. The judge said Nagrani must pay $1,000 fine and do 120 hours of community service. Her license was revoked for six months.

An attorney for Nagrani had tried to pick apart the fatal crash investigation by Port Orange police before the ruling came down.

"Did you even test the breaks?" Nagrani's attorney said.

"I don't think that we started it up? But I don't recall," said a police officer.

Daniluk was hit on Ridgewood Avenue in April while she was trying to cross the road, according to investigators.

Port Orange police said Nagrani was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian in an unmarked crosswalk with death.

Nagrani's attorney worked hard to discredit the evidence, even video of the crash.

"Is the original still available?" the attorney asked.

"Yes," said a witness.

"Then there's absolutely no reason the original is not here," the attorney said.

In April, Nagrani's attorney told police she was reaching for her cell phone when she hit Daniluk.

Nagrani opted not to show up in court Wednesday and was not available for comment.

A family member of Daniluk attended Monday's hearing. He said Nagrani should have been there to face the judge for her actions.

"Shame on you for not showing up. That's basically saying you're a coward," family member Michael Melnicoff said.

Thanks Sherlock, but the way I feel about the LAW I have always felt, rich kids or spoiled narcissistic models should have it applied to them equally. Injustice is injustice, regardless of who is on the receiving end. I will never accept innocent people being seriously injured or killed in preventable incidents because of shallow, narcissistic self absorbed bitches driving while texting. No-one is pointing the finger, this woman acted recklessly and an innocent person died. The way you carry on is as if the whole story is fiction.

I get it, you're a spoiled Westerner who has never suffered a moment in your life, and you worship at the altar of liberal faggotry where everyone should be treated well even if they behave horribly. And news flash, a vast majority of the people walking around are bitter, miserable people, some hide it better than others. If you ever take the time to reflect on your own miserable existence you may uncover some stark realities of how you have created some false persona of normality and happiness to prevent the well of past misery bubbling to the surface. You aren't fooling anyone.

Obviously there is no love lost in your family, for any idiot could run them down in an act of careless driving and with a shrug of your shoulders you would be like 'Oh, well, let's move on people, can't stop young people driving carelessly'. There is obviously some large disconnect between you and other human beings, were you are unable to 'feel'. If that bitch ran my grandmother down and walked away free and then continued posting ridiculous pictures of herself online completely unaffected by the incident, you can guarantee if I had a chance I would deliver some justice.

I agree with you on this!

If it happened to anyone's family member...a child, brother, sister, mother, wife, ect., you all would feel that a sense of travesty was done! You all would want justice.

This was a great travesty!

It seems like people are so desensitized to caring anymore and no one holds life as precious anymore.

This person that Nicole Nagrani killed was loved and cared for. This was a tragic way to die that could have been prevented!

I don't care if this old woman wasn't in a crosswalk. What if it wasn't an old lady? What if it was a child running across the street trying to chase after a ball? Should we all use the kid for hit and run practice knowing that we are justified to kill that kid because he wasn't using the crosswalk?

Sometimes these laws don't make sense and it seems that if you or your family have money, you are going to get away with it....its not fair!

If it was a minority, I guarantee you that they would be in jail and charged with manslaughter!
19 Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Bikini Pro Nicole Nagrani Killed an old woman crossing the road on: December 16, 2013, 12:36:03 PM
Drunks have no intentions of hurting anyone while driving, they just make stupid decisions much the same way Nicole did. Being inattentive is just as bad as driving under the influence. Both deserve jail time when they kill someone.

Great post!

So what?

Is she supposed to stop living life now? Roll Eyes

You have no idea how she fucking felt. This was not an intentional manslaughter.

She probably did deserve a harsher sentence but blame one can only blame our pathetic justice system.

Even if she served 25 years, she shouldn't quit living her life.

She's young, beautiful and full of life. She made a tragic mistake.

I agree....justice does not seem to have been served in this case.

But she can't dwell on her mistake. She needs to go on and it looks like she has.

I for one think the punishment was not harsh enough (from the little I know of the case) but this is what our justice system has become. I don't blame the family for seeking out attention.....Nicole deserves harsher.

Glad you pointed that out!

She should have been punished to the fullest extent of the law!

The law failed!

It wasn't necessarily a "highway". Ridgewood Avenue wasn't a 'highway' in the sense of 55 MPH speed limit, no stop lights, and exits, more like a wide street with a higher speed limit than a residential area.
