The advice of "One set less" may actually have been of great value if you look back at all of Dorian's injuries.
HIT is not bullshit. It's just not for everyone.
The other thing: when you get older and your joints hurt all the time, you will realize that lighter weights with higher reps just might have been more appropriate.
Kids ain't gonna listen. Yeah, you might gain a little more size with heavier weights and being juice up, but at what cost? Your future, right?
Don't care now, but you will then.

Besides everything else that is physically repulsive, you haven't even considered the mental issues. If they are even 1/10th of what each of her parents have, or even brother Jack....she is a basket case who is only going to get worse.
Sad but true. She has no role models except for an eccentric hypochondriac mother and a senile decrepit old wasted father....
What can she possibly do for the sake of resilience?

Going to church can be very inspirational, but I have to admit, there are times when the sermon just doesn't seem to apply to me. I wouldn't stop going though man.
It keeps you in touch with the true reality of things. Live to Live. Living to die is not a good choice.
Hope it all works out ~ have an open mind. If the music is good, try to enjoy that. The contemporary Christian rock bands now are pretty cool to listen to.

Why does GB always have to uphold its standards?
I could have done without the boner dudage.
I guess that is the price we pay for opening a thread. It's either that or we have to GTFO, huh?
Didn't see that one coming. Big ol' bone jobber.... ugh

The S.H.U.
try it. It won't fit well
About 70% of all prisoners return to prison. Amazing.
You wonder, is it because they become instantaneously "institutionalized" or is it b/c they just can't stay away from what it is that put them there in the first place?
Working out for them is not perceived the same as it is for a civilian. They may stay in shape, get in shape, or not. It's not like they are planning to get out and compete in a BB contest, it's just a way to pass the time and try to release aggression.
For anyone here who thinks that they are NOT stressed out of their brains, think again. Just b/c you have not experienced it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. The prisoners that make it, especially with the younger generations who want to fight all the time, they are the ones who DON'T show what's really going on inside (their heads)
Weakness is a sign of, well, weakness. It puts a price on your head and a target on your back. You will be toast in a matter of a few easily calculated hours.
The big guys in prison are the prison guards. They are the ones who workout and have the connections. They also deal with many of the same stresses as the prisoners do. It is not a job for everyone.
They just get to go home at night, but they work behind those walls in lockup too. Depressing, to say the least.
"New federal statistics reveal that the number of mentally ill inmates in U.S. prisons and jails has quadrupled over the past six years, Human Rights Watch said today. More than half of all prison and state inmates now report mental health problems, including symptoms of major depression, mania and psychotic disorders, according to a just-released federal Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) report, Mental Health Problems of Prison and Jail Inmates.
In 1998, the BJS reported there were an estimated 283,000 prison and jail inmates who suffered from mental health problems. That number is now estimated to be 1.25 million. The rate of reported mental health disorders in the state prison population is five times greater (56.2 percent) than in the general adult population (11 percent).
Women prisoners have an even higher rate of mental health problems than men: almost three quarters (73 percent) of all women in state prison have mental health problems, compared to 55 percent of men."
You think these people really have the mental fortitude to work out enough to really make a difference? Most of them are either obese like Tank Abbot or they look like Auschwitz struck again ~

I just wish he would stop implying that his supplement line and his daily workouts are what's keeping him in constant contest shape.
If his supplements contained the substances he really uses, well I would imagine business would be much better and he could buy two trucks instead of just one.
He posts daily on FB.
He should post a nice elaborate and well thought-out article on the effects of GH and HRT in aging men. Let everyone know what he is really doing. He prolly has legally obtained scripts now that he is in his 50's ~
People look at his pics and think it's his supplements that make you look that way. Sad misconception, and he promotes it.

So, in essence, what is being said here is that you have to be intelligent and cunning enough not to get caught ~
Or is there a "clean" division of the IFBB that we don't know about?
He won't be back. Throw him to the wolves along with all the others. He won't be strong enough to fight back once he shrivels to the nothing that he was prior to his AAS use....
Peace ~

Impossible... Actually, I challenge anyone here to name one muscle ~ and that's *ONE* muscle only ~ that can be "isolated" ~ Have fun. I'm sure the answer won't be an anatomically correct bodybuilding muscle.... Every single muscle in the body has assisting muscles and either antagonists or agonists. It is completely impossible. "Isolation" still isolates only one muscle GROUP ~ hope this helps...

Sad, sad state of affairs... if that is truly what this fallen world has come to.
If you are feeling depressed and it has escalated to the point of wanting everything to end: GET HELP!
There are so many easy ways to do this.
Need help? In the U.S., call 1-800-273-8255 National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
Talk to someone. Take direction and get control.
Spirituality is everything. Look into it. You were not put on this earth to suffer.

Prison sucks in so many ways.... Nope.... not kidding. Most of the worst prisons are in Cali. One in NY. Pelican Bay... and don't forget the MOST valued possession..... cigarettes! Kill or be killed for one... or a few... and still manage to *workout*
