I will be staying in Cypress. Not too far of a trek to work.

I will be spending most of my time in the Cypress CA area...anything good to say about Cypress? Pretty sure its Orange County.

I have been out there a few times to look at places to live...I should only be out there for 1-2 years max to manage a project. At least it is not permanent. We will see how it goes...

I am moving to the LA area b/c of my job. I have been a midwesterner for the majority of my life... will I survive in LA, or is it going to be major culture shock for me?  I also drive a Ford F-150. Will I be able to pick up any babes cruising around in it?

I am pretty positive it is over, she is not responding to me at all. I have called and emailed. Oh well...I'm not going to chase after her besides, you can't force trust.

she definitely brought it up the first couple months after it happened...and after it did, I gave her no reason to not trust me. She had access to my phone, email, etc. Yeah we got along great...did lots of fun stuff together. I just booked a cruise for us for the week after Christmas this year two weeks ago. I better be able to get my $$ back, or at least be able to take someone else.

No note...I drove over to her brothers house to talk to her b/c I figured that's where she would staying. She ignored my calls (I pay her cell phone bill). Walked right in, and she told me she was done. She was battling some trust issues from an incident that happened 2 years ago. I thought it was water under the bridge, bu I guess it was making her crazy.

I lived with my girl til' Monday. Came home from work, and she was gone...took the dogs too. I am pretty bummed. Lived together for 3 + years.

Ehh, it's only temporary for me until we find a permanent replacement for the guy who just quit. I manage the 2nd shift in a warehouse, just basically watch over the guys preparing orders for the drivers in the morning. Usually work 3pm - 2am, then peel myself out of bed, eat and go train. Just hard to adjust to. I actually dont mind the hours b/c nothing is over crowded during the day. Easy to get into the dr, dentist, or shop...whatever you gotta get done. Just feel tired all the time, but maybe that is because I have been working 6 days a week.

I started a new position at my company working second shift...feel like all I have time to do is go to work and train. I have lost 15 lbs in a month. No adjustments to the diet, honestly I have probably been eating worse cuz of the hours, I just no longer sit behind a desk. Just curious as to who else here is feeling my pain?
