you make very valid point actually, about kids doing what they want no matter what you tell them, you kind of forget what it is like to be a kid when you get older, i was wrong to cast aspersions on his mum and dad. lets hope he stays healthy and has a long career and as you said at least he aint on the pipe or robbing.

i do agree with certain things you say, but he clearly isn't healthy and he is only a boy, i personally think that using peps and insulin at his age is ridiculous. his body hadn't finished growing but he clearly had run many cycles already,.that is not good parenting, his dad should of told him to wait until he was at least 21. i know they all do it but they all look shit now compared to the 70's 80's and 90's.
maybe i have an out dated view of things, my son in law has qualified for the UK power lifting championships as a junior, he's 21, and 19st, was a scrawny kid 4/5 yrs ago is totally clean, never been on gear, he will if he wants to progress but hasnt yet as he feels he is to young and so does his cosh as they want him reach his natural potential first, which is my point really about this kid.

i just think its extremely sad a boy that young is putting all that gear in his body, if his dad knows about it then he is a very poor excuse for a parent, he can't even talk without gasping for breath. very sad to see.

good luck to the kid if he is earning out of it, lying about how his gains were made wouldnt be a first so it dont bother me as he is a nobody.

im only in my mid forties but my old man said lenny was a bit of a bully and that roy was a better fighter but was nigh on twenty years older and 2stone lighter when they fought and yes he saw them both fight, my old mans close pal used to fight bare knuckles was very well known in that world and very much mixed in the same sort of company. oh he came unstuck against both.

lenny used to train at a gym i used a few times during the ninties and he was one big scary looking fucker to a young skinny lad, he was about 20st i reckon, but people only had good words to say about him.

very easy to talk about people you dont know, lenny clearly had an ego thing going on, but these two fellas came from a different era to pretty much everyone on this site so had a differently mentality.

seen roy a a few boxing shows ive been too and even though he was an older fella, the look in his eye can only be described as mental, definitely looked like he had a screw loose, but the same again, people only spoke good words about him.
 
i believe that if you have some kind of reputation and mix in the company they both did then you go to extremes to reinforce it, im sure they both did that, like many doormen from that time, ott violence.
