Read the police report. He followed Crowley outside and continued to yell at him and make a scene. In Massachusetts that is considered disturbing the peace.

He was warned twice to calm down and did not. Even after Crowley gave him his name TWICE and was exiting his house to wait for the Harvard campus police.

If you don't like the law take it up with the politicians in Massachusetts.
