He won't claim the Mexican kid, but he'll tell you to vote for the Mexican Bush.

Hey GB Mexicans, this is what wealthy white America thinks of your stock.

What does it say about you that you lump all latinos as Mexican?  The kid's mother is Guatemalan.

I get emails.  It seems that me posting two sentences to a thread about Kali is evidence that I'm fixated on him (in that a year or two ago I put his AKAs on his MuslceMemory page, like I do with everyone that I can make the connections).  Also that doing porn for gay oriented websites [Power Men, Manifest Men, Black Stud Society] is not the same as doing gay porn.
4  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Star Trek: Into Darkness on: May 18, 2013, 04:25:44 PM
It was enjoyable, but taking Star Trek characters and putting them in a movie doesn't make it a Star Trek movie.  It was no different than any other sciFi blow things up movie this summer.

There better not be any whales in the next one.

The previews were good. I am looking forward to Ender's Game this November.

Vince was big drunk who was involved in steroids. I have never seen anything about Vince saying Reeves was using. If he did I don't believe it. Did Reeves ever train at Vince's?

Vince was well after Reeves competition days.  Steve Reeves worked with Ed Yarrick in Oakland after the war.   Reeves was already in Oakland.  Eiferman and Delinger came out from the east coast to work with Yarrick prior to their Mr America contests.  The three then won the 1947, 48 and 49 Mr Americas.

Remember, the amateur IFBB is officially a "drug free" organization.  The results above are pending the outcome of random doping tests.  Some people will be disqualified.  Of course they never say how many people get tested (my guess is less than 1 in 10), or what the failure rate is (my guess is close to 100%).

10  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: 2013 IFBB European Men's Bodybuilding Championships on: May 14, 2013, 12:07:28 AM
So I've gotten complaints.  For this year's EU contest, the IFBB divided up the 90kg-100kg heavyweight class into 90kg and 95kg.  when I entered the results, I just started at the top with super-heavyweight on down to bantam-weight.  the complaint is that there was no bantam-weight, that lightweight was the lightest class. Mahmut Irmak didnt win welterweight, but light middleweight.  The thing is there is no official definition of weight classes.  Different sports have different definitions.  Even different orgs within the same sport (such as kickboxing) have different definitions.

and unfortunately when I designed the database in 1997, I didn't design it for kg.  with 187000 entries in the database, kind of hard to change it now.

So the question is:  Do I create a new weight class for this one IFBB contest, in between heavyweight and super-heavyweight:  Light-Super-Heavyweight ?

14  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Mens Physique - So how does one go about training for it? on: April 29, 2013, 02:14:35 AM
I used to think that as well, in regards to pros exploding in size because of gh and slin, but the more I've read about the subject, the more I think top pros are injecting tons and tons of steroids, never before heard of, in amounts most can't afford, as well as the gh and slin.

everything from underground labs is under-dosed.  15-20 years ago I remember being told that you couldn't get much more than 200 mg of nandrolone into a ml of oil, it would just precipitate to the bottom.  Now the only thing you find on the black market is labeled 350 mg/ml nandrolone.  Same for Tren.

Few sets of curls / bench and not eat?  Huh

Is it really enjoyable to have a gym membership to maintain this and not be able to strive for more because of the limitations of this division?

The only difference between the top physique competitors and the mass monster bodybuilders is the amount of drugs.  probably just as much steroids, but not as much GH and insulin.

I wonder - do they give out pro-cards in the physique division?  Could you eventually get a pro card in physique and just cross over and compete as a pro-bodybuilder? :-D

yes, there is IFBB Pro Physique, with 15 pro shows on the schedule for 2013.  The recent LA Grand Prix was Phyique only and appears to have pulled a bigger crowd than last year's LA Flex Pro.

20  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Kai Greene - After his past, can he ever win the Olympia? on: April 20, 2013, 01:35:45 PM
now that that fucking homophobe weider is dead, i could see it happening. at the end of the day he is a talented bodybuilder and better than heath imo, which is the criteria the olympia should be judged by. not who did g4p to pay for their drugs or who is the best poster boy to sell more useless bsn optimum whey sugar powder.

The control of the Olympia and the pro IFBB passed from Weider to Manion long before Weider died.  Yes it is the judges who decide, but they still report to Manion and Chang.  While they've seemed to have progressed from being afraid to vote for anyone even associated with the gay community (Rusty Jeffer's 8th place at the 2006 Masters Pro World (how did they even know he was the most recognized face in that specific gay subculture if they weren't a bunch of closet cases?)), they're still going to vote what they think is best for bodybuilding.

Now we are a country of second chances.  Given enough time, most anything can be forgiven and forgotten. (this is not necessarily a good thing, IMHO)  Kai became infamous for fucking a grapefruit on camera.  Immediately after that, there is no way judges would have voted for him for the Olympia.  But that memory had begun to fade.  Now this recent video shows him having sex on stage in a bar.  That might be enough to have cost him the Olympia this year.  How many more years does he have?

there are plenty of pics of his cock from his j/o videos.  no evidence of injections or long term pumping there.  only that one pic on stage does his foreskin look swollen.  probably just from pumping right before he went on stage.

BRO......DON'T EVEN GO THERE......IFBB MEN'S PRO PHYSIQUE IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE 60S OR 70S......LARRY SCOTT.....ZANE....DRAPER ...ROBINSON.....THE LIST GOES ON......THESE GUYS WERE FANTASTIC....THE MEN'S PRO PHYSIQUE IS PACKED FULL OF GUYS THAT HAVE GOOD BEACH BUILDS....NOTHING MORE.....NOTHING LESS.

LARRY SCOTT AT 205 POUNDS....PUTS THE MEN'S PHYSIQUE AND THE IFBB PRO BODYBUIDERS TO SHAME.....TAKE A GOOD LONG LOOK AT SCOTT'S ARMS.......WORLD CLASS!!!

Besides that Robinson and Zane were at their peak in the late 70s and early 80s, you're picking the best of the best.  Look at the rest of the guys from the 60s and even early 70s and they have similar builds as this new Physique category.  Zane in the 60s and early 70s would certainly fit in the Physique division.  Look at the Physique division from this past NPC Nationals, especially the tall classes.  http://pics.musculardevelopment.com/index.php?mode=contest&contestcode=29 They look like bodybuilders from the 60s and early 70s.

But my post was to criticize the Physique contests.  It's stand and model.   No flexing.  So the winner is who looks best relaxed, which certainly is not the same as who would look best flexed.  And those board shorts.  Why should anyone waste time on squats when no one will ever see their legs?

Why not just put the guys in posing suits and call it Classic Bodybuilding?

But people are buying tickets. At this weekend's LA Pro Physique Championships (Matt Christianer won), the auditorium was packed.  Probably more so than the Flex LA Championships, certainly more so than the last few Ironman.  In recent years, look at how many men's pro bodybuilding contests go two years and then the promoters give up.  The fans aren't showing up for the mass monsters.

Just as Pro Figure has pushed out women's pro bodybuilding (this year there are 5 pro bodybuilding contests, and 20 pro figure), Pro Physique has the chance of pushing out men's pro bodybuilding.  (we'll have to wait and see if women's pro physique pushes out pro figure).

we do have pros that look like the top bodybuilders of the 60s.  but they don't pose or flex.  they come out on stage, put their hand on their hip, do a quarter turn, do another quarter turn, then walk off stage.  We call it IFBB Men's Pro Physique.  they seem to be quite the draw, outselling many pro bodybuilding events
