QB is full of shit. I've been to LA a few times and it is a daunting experience in that huge airport. It would be great if someone was there to pick me up. In Sydney it is easy to link up by mobile phones and synchronise the pickup to avoid parking and paying for it. QB knows the ropes. He accepted Arce's offer to pick him up. He was just doing that to sound like a good guy. There is no way he will meet anyone from Getbig. So he bullshitted about the phone and so on. He had to figure out how to save face here. What a total loser this jerk is. He must remain anonymous because he has taken advantage of young women and offended people here.
Let him meet AVBG or some other Aussie. It won't happen. He has lost all his credibility here.

Generalizations? Of course, how else can we communicate if we don't generalize. Okay, let me say that some Aussies hate, dislike or resent Yanks. Some, logically, means at least one but it could be all of them. My children who were born here are Aussies but I am not. I am an Australian citizen. Australia has a great climate most of the year and lots of space. In Sydney there are something like 20 to 30 beaches. Plenty of space for everyone so we don't have much tension between the cultures.
The Aussies like to believe there are no social classes here. Yeah, sure. Amazing what people believe.

I have been around high schools, universities, clubs and gyms here so have met literally many thousands of people. I tell it like it is. Just my opinion. If people don't agree that is okay, too. Australia is becoming a melting pot, anyway, so perhaps the old ways will eventually pass. Yes, people from Southern Europe and the Middle East are no longer called ethnic or wogs. However, it was but a few short years ago that there was a culture war between Lebanese lads and Aussie heroes defending the country. That took place in Sydney at Cronulla Beach. So don't crap on about how the Aussies accept other people. I won't mention how they feel about Muslims.
The way some of the Aussies posters here respond to me exactly proves my point.

Aussies are interesting folk. On the surface they love everyone and welcome foreigners to this wonderful country. Underneath it is another matter. If you come from overseas you will have fun here and can even get a job. The Aussies will invite you to BBQs and that sort of thing but they choose their friends carefully. Most males here have a close circle of mates they went to school or college with. The women here actually like guys with accents. Go figure. It isn't easy to befriend Aussie males if you are from another country.
The Yanks will have no clue that the Aussies don't really accept them or whatever it is you want to call it. I think it is related to how the Americans think their country is the biggest and best in the world. Therefore, the impression the Aussies get is that the Americans think they are superior to everyone else. That is what annoys the Australians. The Aussies figure they live in the best country in the world. There you are.

By the way, high tech Quickerblade didn't contact Arce because of technical difficulties? I call bullshit. The Aussies know you need a phone overseas and make arrangements accordingly before they go. A dude like QB is never without his phone. He would rather lose an arm or a leg first. So I am not buying his bullshit. He had no intention of meeting Arce but needed to remain anonymous to Getbig. That is what makes sense. The rest is just crap. Dickhead material.

But do Aussies like Canadians and vice versa...that is the real question.
Aussies, generally speaking, dislike all foreigners. Some they dislike more than others. Eg., if you look Asian then it doesn't matter if you were born in Australia you are still Asian. Ditto for Wogs and Islanders.
Luckily the women here don't mind foreigners which is nice. The blokes here have mates and it is usually a closed shop. That is the way it has always been here.
There aren't many Canadians living in Australia but quite a few visit here. When Aussies find out you are a Canadian it isn't too bad. Of course, visitors to Australia will have absolutely no
clue that the Aussies are so biased. Booty doesn't hold the same attitudes because she is a sheila. |

Let me explain Quickerblade's profile. It is my bet that he was in love with a beautiful girl but got dumped for someone else. When a gal does that and you are in love with her it is virtually impossible to get her back. No matter what you do it doesn't work but you find yourself missing her more and still deeply in love with her. QB knows how to make a gal fall in love with him. Since he got rejected big time he is returning the favour to all the women he seduces because he literally doesn't want them. The lads on Getbig are usually not so good with the gals so when resident pickup artist QB posts they listen. In reality this is a sad dude who isn't going to find happiness anytime soon. His behaviour is deplorable and he uses then abuses the women he meets. They are facinated by this guy because he is a challenge to get as a boyfriend. I presume he must be good looking otherwise the strategies he suggests will definitely not work with most women. It works with him because of his confidence and charm. The truth is he doesn't know what love is.
What a shame resident good Samaritan, Arce, offered to pick him up at LA airport. Can't blame Arce because in a recent thread QB stated that he loved his bro. Check the thread about his coming to LA on May 8th.
What are we to make of this guy? Well, he covers his tracks carefully because there are a lot of people he has upset or abused and they would like to know who he is and retaliate in some way. The guy has to remain unknown. Therefore, he literally could not meet Arce. If he did come to LA then we have the nasty scene of QB seeing hapless Arce standing there waiting for him. He couldn't make contact because there is absolutely no way he wants anyone on Getbig to know his real identity and appearance. Photos might have been taken etc.
QB behaviour is consistent with a player and abuser. No answering texts on arrival....if he really did come. No apology. No explanation. No post on Getbig. What do we make of all of this? QB is a bona fide asshole. His word means bugger all.

Arce, read all the posts of your mate QB. He openly boasts that he covers his tracks well. Why does he need to do this? Because he is an abuser. The guy is a borderline sociopath. He gets young women to fall in love with him then humiliates and rejects them. Does the scenario sound familiar? You don't even know his name but went out of your way to meet this villain? Look at his behaviour to you. Is that what a mate would do? Nope, but an asshole behaves like that. You will get more of the same from him.

Hypertrophy as a physical process is a science. There is no need to have to find out what works for you. There is a sense that individuals who have built considerable muscle naturally must have done something right. Yes, but the trick is finding exactly what the necessary and sufficient conditions are. The stimulus for growth can be reduced to a few basic factors. Time under tension, intensity, duration, and frequency. Exactly what has to be done re progression can be specified and protocols determined. There is a huge problem re the implementation of the theory because in moving systems there are many variables so that different individuals might appear to be doing the same thing but are not. Some people can do curls but not put sufficient mechanical tension on their biceps so no growth will occur in those muscles. Therefore the technology of hypertrophy is important and this is where vast experience is important. However, this technology can be written down and passed on to trainees.

The first statement is virtually useless. It implies there is no knowledge so everyone has to find out the long, hard way from years of experience. Since humans have physical systems and a similar physiology then there must be a theory of hypertrophy that explains all growth....and non-growth from weight training. |

QB wasn't on a vacation but was coming to LA for business. The guy is a total bullshit artist. The Aussies like tricking the Yanks. They do this for a big laugh. Anyway you look at it the guy is a total dork and a complete tool and bullshit artist. A pickup artist lives with his mobile phone and always has a connection and internet access. His silence can mean only one thing....he was bullshitting Arce and Getbig. I would even doubt QB gave Arce the right phone numbers. That is why the phone rings but no one answers. This is what you have to assume if it is all a big joke. A bit like a gal giving you the wrong phone number when they are not interested in you.

I have been around longer than most here so I can pick these guys! Quickerblade either is a good pickup artist or has read books about how to do it. I was surprised when someone posted a photo of the dude but was suspicious it was him. The way he posted suggested he was better looking and bigger than that. You can't get confidence like him and be a twink. The negative stuff he did to get the hot gals attention and interest can work if you are handsome. Anything works then! If the flotsam follow his suggestions they will get slapped in the face and quickly rejected.
Anyway, Arce, call his home number. Send me his number and I will call. Get Booty to call....he will answer a female! Btw, a guy with an ego like that will be reading the boards....by not logging on. There is a good possibility he didn't make that trip but like Goodrum just posts here to get attention. Weird behaviour from a self-styled alpha male. Arce you have no obligation NOT to post some info about this dork. A cluey guy like that would never part with his phone and he is constantly online. So his not contacting you in some way means he is not fair dinkum...he is bullshitting Arce and having a big laugh about it. He will be laughing with his mates and showing them this thread about a hapless sap in LA. The Aussies dislike the Yanks and like to show how stupid they are. Never forget this. They make jokes about falsehoods and tricking people and think it is a funny. Trust me, I know, I have lived here for 42 years. An example is this. In Oz a bloke will tell you your car has a parking ticket on it! So you rush out only to find out it isn't true. In America a guy will tell you the same thing and when you check there will be a ticket on the windscreen! Totally different senses of humour in both countries. I have never figured out why the Aussies think bullshitting about falsehoods is funny. Let me tell you a true story. I was interested in an expensive Martin guitar and told the owner to put it aside for me. I got a message on my birthday to come in to Jackson's Rare Guitars because he had a rare guitar he knew I would like. When I got there I asked about the guitar I wanted. It cost about $12000 and had Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. Well, he said it was a pity because he sold it recently. I was so disappointed I walked out of his shop. He ran after me and caught me up the street and told me my wife had bought it for me as a birthday present. The best birthday present I ever had. He totally spoiled the day for me. That wasn't remotely amusing to me but it was still one hell of a present.

Post a photo of this Quickerblade operator. No photo means he doesn't exist.
Fair dinkum means honestly or sincerely. Locals use it to impress tourists or visitors to imply they are telling the truth. If they are lying then they are not being fair dinkum. So Quickerblade not showing up means he lied about meeting Arce so was not fair dinkum.
Do a Google search of "fair dinkum" to read the history etc of the phrase.
