Well, HD, one should "never say never", but I'm pretty sure I'm done for good.  Besides, I'm enjoying my freedom to eat chocolate whenever I want too much  .
The weather people are saying we are going to have a good weekend, (though I understand that doesn't mean much), as we've had quite a bit of rain lately, so it will be nice to see the sun shining.  See everyone at the show and/or Cheesecake Factory!  Good luck again to everyone competing!

Should be a great show.  I retired after this same show last year, but I will still be backstage (minus the high heels!), helping the girls as needed, and possibly expediting.

The chocolate cake was better, IMO...the carrot cake had too much "stuff" in it (pineapples, raisins, nuts...ick)  Sorry you could not join us....We will do it again, come October.

Met Mike and Laura at the show...have to admit, I have not been on the boards since around last October, so I had no idea she was competing until I saw her and Mike at the show.  I had a feeling there might be a thread about her on here, so figured I would check.   She is a very pretty woman.   Laura, you looked good, and very poised, considering it was your first show.  With a little tweaking, I think you will do well at the June show, regardless of it being a Level V.  Good Luck to you, and I am sure I will see you there!

I was at the show.  His son looked GREAT.  He has a tremendous future ahead of him, if he chooses to follow in his father's footsteps.

Malibu,,,thanks for the props.  I admit, I was a little surprised with my callouts...thought I presented a good package, and so did others that were in the audience, so I was a little disappointed with not placing.  But I was very happy for Chris Wan, cracking the top five, and taking home some money to boot.  I see good things for her in the future.

Just wanted to say CONGRATS!!! to my great friend, Christine Wan, for cracking the top five!  What made it even more sweet was that she did it at a show close to home, and her husband and adorable daughter were there to witness it.   Plus, due to the fact the promoter extended prize money out to fifth place, she picked up some cash too!  Congrats again...you deserved it!

Me too...I will be  there this afternoon.  Looks like it will be a great weekend.
