It's persons of a certain psychological disposition who tend to gravitate towards conspiracy. I couldn't tell you why this is, but a specific psychological set seems to go along with believing in conspiracy. I don't want to say outright that these people are mentally ill, but they are usually "off" in some way, on a different wavelength than the rest of us.
Maybe having a propensity to believe unrealistic things is coextensive with certain mental illnesses? Maybe we can evaluate E-Kul and see.
Anyone who believes that kings are dethroned by single individuals needs to reread their history books.

genetics factor into also.. i have always used slow and tight form.. i am now 44.. my knees are gone.. bone on bone.. my shoulders pop and snap.. my neck ect ect.. so one can say that it is about working the muscle.. and it is.. but even some of us who practiced great form will suffer after 25 years of it..
You are right, genetics are probably a factor, but how much is something no one can determine. I am the first to admit I don't have great genetics, both parents were not the least bit athletic. What I do have is patience, I will spend four or five sets warming up, slowly increasing the weight as I go up. When I do squats I will be twenty minutes in the rack before my first work set. I think this goes a long way to longevity. I can't tell you how many times I've seen some kid go to the squat rack and start with three plates and do some half reps and walk away, makes you shake your head.

I saw Dave at 315 pounds and ripped and veiny...........my guess then was that he was a lifetime natural and I still stand by this today. NEWSFLASH: All pros and top amatuers take lots of gear!! Hope this helps. Also, when they stop training, competing, eating tons of food without gear, they shrink........who would have ever thought that might happen Man, some of these guys on here probably think Gretzky can still play in the NHL. Like your're not allowed to get old, move on and do other things.

The looks she gives right after exposing her too-red nipple (one of the backup dancers must have been sucking it for all he's worth pre-showtime) is classic old lady. Truly, check it out.
Madonna needs to give it a rest. Not retire or anything, but just can the whole I'm-still-edgy horseshit. No one cares. At this point she just appears desperate and pathetic.
Not to mention she's the mother of a teenage girl. Hopefully what she's put out will come back to bite her in the arse when her daughter's skanky poon shots appear all over the internet.
Truth x2. Needs to take a lesson from Grace Slick. Woman retired when she was 48. Said she didn't want to look ridiculous, and she was way hotter than Madonna.

Rich Franklin does not have to worry about his test levels, what he does have to worry about is brain damage from taking repeated kicks and punches to his skull. A big percentage of retired NFL players have piss poor quality of life in their later years and they wear helmets. Yes, twenty years from now when every one has forgotten about these UFC guys there is going to be a whole host of them walking around with their names and addresses pinned to their jackets. Look up Leon Spinks. Not a pretty way to live.

Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Lou Ferrigno - did he bench 560lbs in his prime?

I saw Lou at some show when he was still doing the Incredible Hulk. Someone asked him how much he could bench and I remember he replied 585. I don't know one way or another. I remember seeing video of Arnold with 455 on the bar, but Arnold never lifted to see how much he could lift. I would like to see all those who claim to lift huge poundages try to do Arnolds workout. He would do a set of bench and then do a back exercise and with less than a minutes rest add more weight and do bench for strict reps of ten The difference between lifting at an intense tempo like that and doing sets of three with five or ten minutes rest is like comparing pond hockey to an NHL game. If Arnold wanted to do a workout like that I'm sure he could bench over 500 but he would consider that a wasted workout and he did't waste workouts. It's not inconceivable tha Lou could bench high numbers. He had the shoulder strength and that is what is really required for a good bench

Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: "Bodybuilding Contest Prep Is Harder Than Marine Boot Camp!"

How the hell can someone say this, when they havent been to Marine Corp boot camp? Lol.
And I can guarantee you its not. US Marine Corp boot camp is going non-stop from 5 am to 11 pm. Running, humping, climbing, jumping, running obstacle courses, shooting, etc. Many times with 80lbs of gear.
Its no comparison. Mentally OR physically.
At one point, you go 3 1/2 days with 1 meal or less a day, while humping with rucks, gear, boots, rifle etc, with 3 hours of sleep a night. On the 4th day, you have to hump 5 miles + to a small mountain with your gear, go up it, and hump the 5+ miles back home, with NO food.
Aren't there like tens of thousands of Marines? Seems to me just about anyone can be a Marine, even girls. Top pro bodybuilder, not so much.

Oh for gods sake. You really think the US wouldnt have been drawn into WWII if the Japanese hadnt attacked us?
FDR campaigned and won the election on the promise that he would never take America into a foreign war. Britain and the wealthy industrialists were begging him to break that promise. The only way get around it was to provoke Japan into attacking America. Think about it. Japan was invading China, they had no beef with the U.S. but for some reason the US blockaded Japan so they could not get oil into Japan which they needed for their war. By the way, I know that a lot of Americans think the attack on Pearl Harbour was a surprise attack, but the American military elite and the white house knew it was coming. Why do you think only a handful of US planes got off the ground. They were ordered to stand down. As a matter of fact hours before the attack the pilots were ordered to park the planes in a circular fashion facing each other.. Lot of things swept under the rug.
