It is hard to find a thread with the most envy, anger, ignorance and pettiness but I believe this one takes the cake.



He is a goddamn biochemist who is smarter, more muscular and ripped than 95% of the people who post here and that is the only reason he gets attacked.


Get a life people.  You armchair bodybuilders need to do something with your own lives and stop attacking someone who is far superior to you in many ways.

35k is even unrealistic for MOST college graduates these days unless they have a computer science or biology or chemistry degree.

If by "decent" you mean 30-40 k a year then sure...But you have to own your own business. I know someone with their own plumbing business and they get a lot of work but bring in maybe 35k a year.

If you are any of these trades and work FOR someone then expect to bring in much less.

Without special scholarships or wealthy parents, it is impossible NOT to take out loans. I got no help from my parents, I worked full time and went to college full time and I was a cheap skate and I still had to take out loans. Never went on vacations either.

Going to a university, not just a trade school or a community college, the tuition is far too high.

The intelligent people who frequent this board have realized a long time ago that no real substantial academical or intellectual discussions of politics occur here. The only things that occur here are low-brow uninformed uneducated opinion mongering based on internet blogs written by someone else. In several years of reading this board, including the politics board, I have seen less than a dozen threads that had truly intellectual and high-level discussions of political issues out of tens of thousands over the past decade. Anyone who argues politics (or religion) on a bodybuilding board can be compared to someone who wants to argue over crayons with children.

I learned this and hopefully the more intelligent among you will also realize this. Few people here are smart enough to comprehend political issues beyond the common talking point level. If you want to argue politics, then attend political meetings at universities and talk with professors or legitimate politicians. You won't find any real substantial academic political discussions on this bodybuilding board, or any bodybuilding board. I have spent a lot of time with professors and politicians and I've taken many graduate level political science classes and I have also been a lurker on this board for several years, and I can guarantee that the posts on this board don't even come close to anything academic or intellectual. 80% of the posts here are uninformed or downright incorrect factually and represent a massive misunderstanding and ignorance of basic political science or modern political theory (and often basic common sense).

Here is a test for anyone who wonders if they are politically savvy: Scroll through a few pages of this forum and read a few of the threads. If you find any of the threads or any of the posts to be "politically academic" or "intellectual" then your standards are so low that you need to admit to yourself that you don't really know much about politics or political science.


My advice to you: Spend 75% less time on this message board and instead spend that time in the Gym, Reading a good book, Spending time with your family, getting another college degree, starting a company, jogging, writing something useful, volunteering, playing with your pet....etc. 


No doubt I'll get a ton of negative or "witty" responses, but I probably won't even read them for a week or two because I'll be living my life.

I saw Stallone when he was filming this in New Orleans in August of 2011. Took a long time to come out. It was going by the working title of "Headshot" at the time.

Shark attacks are also incredibly rare. It almost never happens if you look at the statistics and how many people are in the water. You're more likely to be killed digging in the sand at the beach or wrestling with a vending machine than in a shark attack.

Few people in the whole world die from shark attacks but the number of humans who kill sharks is in the tens of MILLIONS yearly.

No. Not at all. The thought of it now makes me sick once you realize where it comes from. I became a vegetarian because I don't believe in causing an animal to die just so I can eat their meat, especially in the horrible factory farms that exist today which treat animals like objects and not living thinking feeling beings that they are. The more time I spent around the types of animals that I used to eat, cows, chickens, pigs, the more I realized that these animals are no different in personality or intelligence than cats or dogs and often even smarter.
