King of the Hill is great, 13 seasons... There was a guy on Beavis and Butthead (Mr Anderson) who Hank was modeled after. Not the same character though...   |

Just read this one another forum:
"Joe Weider is on life support, been in a coma for a week or so. Eddie Giuliani said a week, Lou Ferrigno said a month, not sure how long it's been! Bet a week is more like it, seems like this news would get out."

Many college kids drink everyday to being really drunk. I've read stories of people drinking like that for like 5+ years even after college. And then they just stopped but could still booze it up occasionally with no real problems. Boredom, depression and heavy drinking doesn't allows equate to alcoholism IMOP. But then again, what is the true definition of an alcoholic?
True, some people can binge drink for many years, then stop or enjoy on occasion.. It means they're physically not addicted, maybe a mental thing (boredom, depression, etc like you mentioned)... |

My friend drinks like 15 beers a night. (He buys an 18 pack every day, talk about expensive).
He usually has 2 to 3 beers left over the next day. His Dr. told him he cant quit cold turkey (on his own), or he'll go into a conniption.
(Could seizure out, etc). Told him to check into rehab, or taper down weekly like a poster mentioned a few posts back. (Most people cant do that who are alky's).
Either way he's gonna be fecked in the future..

In Derek Sandersons new book (ex-alcoholic hockey player) he says:
1. A social drinker will have a drink, sip it, not really like the taste or buzz of alcohol.
2. A binge drinker can hold off all week, but when FRI comes around, they plan for an entire weekend of drinking.
3. An Alcoholic needs booze just to be able to function each day.
Many binge drinkers, drink because of boredom and anxiety. IF you keep doing 5 shots a day, that very easily can turn into someone who NEEDS booze just to get thru your day.

Woke up, was on GetBig for a while. Went to my Ma's for an hour at 11 AM, toasted a shot of Tequila with her.
Came home, made pasta, chicken meatballs and sauce.
Ate while I watched the Bruins/Pens NHL game.
After that, a nice marathon of Cops was on, white trash and nigels running amok.
Sun night cartoons, and off to bed at 10 PM... Relaxing day..
