here is keaton banging out some curls Keaton plays the part of Bruce Wayne well, cause he's a good actor. But physically, he's less impressive than the guy who places 37th in a PDI contest. Which is why I can never see him as Batman - guy looks like he'd barely crank out 4 reps with 135 lb on the bench As wooden as Bale can get at times, he still pulls off some stuff very well and looks and plays a much better Batman (and Bruce Wayne), IMO.

spot on. Keaton abandoned the franchise because of creative differences with the director, he wanted to stay dark but scuhmacher wanted to cartoony, bad move! Keaton left at the right time Bale is my favorite but Michael Keaton was awesome too especially in 1989 Batman. I will say 1989 Batmobile and Jet were my favorite. Val Kilmer is a great actor but Joel Scuhmacher was a bad director who brought in all the neon and nipple suits. The only thing Schumacher did right was Kilmer and mega hot at the time Nicole Kidman.

At his peak he was balanced from head to toe, still has better structure, frame, muscle tie ins and bodyparts that not only hold up but look every bit as big and if not bigger than a large portion of pro's today. who cares he didnt have the shredded glutes, the arse should never have been uncovered! and sliced hamstrings, so what, he was conditioned everywhere else. Ronnie always had sliced hamstrings and glutes but often looked glossy, smooth and bloated from the front. Arnold was also one of the first to have ripped xmas tree lower back development most struggle to bring nowadays

great shot but this werent the one I was thinking of, was definitely sos. Hulkster in that side chest comp Gunter is hitting the shot properly and is thrashing Ronnie. Ronnies chest looks small from the side, completely overpowered by his legs which shouldnt be the stand out muscle group in this pose. and in the ab thigh Gunters taper might not be great but Ronnie is smooth and glossy with obliques sticking out over his trunks Actually I think that Gunther looked way better at the Olympia than at the show of strenght, while with Ronnie it was vice versa. As they robbed Gunther at the Olympia, as you can't let a newcomer knock out the champ, they handed him the gift at the Show of Strength, where Ronnie was the clear winner imo (Ronnie was lightyears bigger, fuller, thicker, sharper at the SoS than at the Olympia few weeks before). Just shows what a joke that sport is.

no this was a clear case of the judges scoring it how it should and not sticking their tongues up Ronnies arse as usual. The better man won that day, Ronnie looked like shit from the front, was glossy and smooth. Gunter had better balance from head to toe and dialled in the conditioning. this was a case of the judges judging a bodybuilder against himself......ronnie should have won. becaue even though gunter was at his best ever by far.......ronnie's "usual" package is so much stronger...........ronni e came in alright , for himself that is, so the change in gunter was much more noticable.............bu t in a bodybuilding contest you are not supposed to be judged against youself, you are supposed to be compared to the other guys on stage............
and gunter on his best day, could not have beat ronnie on his worst..............but that being said, that show really meant shit in the grand scheme of things, so they threw one away, to drum up some interest in the coming olympia, cause lets face it, it was getting pretty boring around that time seeing ronnie dominate year in , year out.

another superb shot. A pose should be hit and be able to show symmetry, balance and proportion but at the same time the bodypart being exploited should stand out. For example the lats should ultimately stand out in the front lat spread pose, something Ronnies dont do (did from the rear), same as his chest doesnt stand out in the side chest pose, etc etc Back on topic this shot is just untouchable by anyone
despite his wider hips and waist this pose is a masterpiece it gives you an idea of how fucking wider he is if he's waist & hips are that wider and he still has such an insane shot and taper

Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Rumors about Lou during the Hulk tv show
|
on: August 20, 2009, 01:53:00 PM

I have seen an interview where Lou said Arnold had no interest in the role, Arnold was actually approached but he pointed them in Lou's direction! Arnold also said he didnt want to be stuck in a series (had bigger ideas) and run around with green paint on The most daunting task, however, was finding someone to play the Hulk. Arnold Schwarzenegger auditioned, but was rejected due to his inadequate height (according to Johnson in his commentary on a DVD release). Actor Richard Kiel was hired for the role, and production commenced on the pilot movie. However, during filming, Kenneth Johnson's own son pointed out that Kiel's tall-but-under-developed physique did not resemble the Hulk's at all. Soon, Kiel was replaced with professional bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno, although a very brief shot of Kiel (as the Hulk) remained in the pilot (according to Johnson, in his DVD commentary). According to an interview at Den of geek, Kiel, who sees properly out of only one eye, also reacted badly to the contact lenses used for the role, and found the green makeup difficult to remove, so he did not mind losing the part.
