Only reason they reported about Swedish events so broadly here is because we are so close to them; many have relatives/friends etc. living there so it's impossible to hide.
I mean something like that happening for almost a week in country like SwE, which is generally considered one of the most stable in the world, should have been a top news almost everywhere in the world.
