3  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Any lawyers here? on: April 06, 2014, 10:04:16 PM
Lawyers cost money, hiring one after she gets canned for malfeasance inability to perform isn't going to pay the bills while the attorney looks for a connection of the employer pattern of write-ups to show intent to fire....relieve it from paying benefits.
Document circumstances if it were me, of the write ups and why I disagree. File whatever you have to file at work to make that document look less 'substantial' if it were me. Then I'd email a supervisor explain how to improve and on that occasion I don't think a write up was necessary through for this reason that reason....then if fired you have documentation that something was awry other than just talk. You get to appeal a decision if denied unemplyement but you have burden to produce.

5  Getbig Bodybuilding Boards / Steroids Info & Hardcore / Re: Ideal Dose for Anavar? on: March 30, 2014, 06:38:29 AM
depends on the brand. Human grade 30mg maybe but UGl anavar if it is even real 50 mg to start and jump it up to 80mg towards week 3.

Once tapered up to 80mg day, in your opinion how long should one stay there? A Non-drinker

Thinking about doing that you suggest; then mapping out the sides and adjustingthe dose.

12  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: I saw Wolf on Wall Street last night on: January 12, 2014, 07:43:37 PM
you have to understand the kind of guy who works in a bucket-shop who does pump&dump/boilerroom shit.. they're a 'unique' kind of person. they're loudmouths and they lie and exaggerate everything. they're usually broke as hell for a long time, but some of their friends make a lot of money, so as soon as they hit a big commission check, they blow their money and live like white rap stars until they're broke again and when the money's gone, they'll tell stories and relive their 'glory days', except they'll embellish it x10.

there's a reason they're working in a fucking bucketshop in the first place, and not working for a respectable firm as a broker or prop trader... 90% of these guys are losers and bullshit artists. 90% have no long-term goals or investment strategy.. they're just hustlers and con-men. and if you've ever been to prison (or rehab), you know the stories that hustlers and con-men tell that tell that glorify their past lifestyle.

is the movie true? sorta... take a little bit of truth and embellish it. Jordan doesn't do that just with the movie, he does it with everything he does and everybody he talks to from the dude who takes his order at Burger King, to the lady interviewing him for 60Minutes. he's telling a story he wishes was true.. how it would've turned out in his mind.

Yeah that's a good analysis of it all
13  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: I saw Wolf on Wall Street last night on: January 12, 2014, 02:51:56 PM
Book was entertaining in a stupid kind of way, where you're reading and your brain just shuts off.

I have to laugh at all the people I hear talking about the movie in the gym, work, and at school as if they're going to be the next boiler room mega brokers to take companies public, etc. Too bad that was then and this is now, haha.

I agree with CleanNat though. What is wrong when movies like this are now entertainment. It was close to being cancelled during filming because of budget issues and I am guessing they were having trouble finding investors. Oh, well.
14  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: David Dearth - close to death in hospital - anyone got news/details? on: January 09, 2014, 06:58:46 PM

Devin wasn't a typical BB douchebag. He was educated, served his country, and was president of a wood pallet company. He left behind 3 kids.

Devin died of a stroke caused by a brain stem bleed, likely caused by heavy neck curls in the gym. That's a lesson for us all.

Yeah, that's sad.

So he did have the stroke while he was working out?
15  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: TEPCO Quietly Admits Reactor 3 Could Be Melting Down NOW on: January 03, 2014, 08:53:27 AM
For starters, the Japanese are linked with countless innovations, such as: Wireless transmission, Flat panel displays, Bullet trains, Flash memory, Blue laser, Compact Discs, Blu-ray Discs, Android (robots), Motion-sensing controllers, Pocket calculators, General anesthesia, the Digital Camera just to name a few.

And secondly, who cares who invented all that stuff, the fact is who has utilised it the best.  And the Japanese are far superior when making high quality products than most of Europe , China and America.  This is common knowledge.

Richard Lynn’s books “IQ and the Wealth of Nations” and “Race Differences in Intelligence" based on Worldwide Cultural IQ comparisons sees the Japanese come in 5th with an an above average score of 105.  The top 5 are all from the East Asian Countries. Moving over to Europe, the UK scores 100, Germany is just behind on 99 along with several countries like Finland.  The US is just behind on 98.  Only a fool would think the Japanese are fools.

Not only this, the reactor at Fukushima was American designed and made and the Americans decided how close to the water the reactor should be. The plant comprises six separate boiling water reactors originally designed by General Electric. In 1971, General Electric designed, built and delivered the first, now-exploded, Mark 1 reactor at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant and that design was also used for four of the other five reactors.

Also, there was a Whistleblower by the name of  Dale Bridenbaugh, a former engineer for GE, he exposed a critical flaw in the reactor design that was so bad, he recommended all Mark 1 reactors be shut down to repair them. This didn't happen.  God Bless Americans love of putting profit over other peoples welfare.

Good post.

After all this time and no solution not even efficient temporary solutions. Gesh.

17  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: BitCoin loses 50 Percent of its Value overnight. :) on: December 20, 2013, 11:01:29 AM
That E Cash was based on real cash, debit is your money.  BitCoins are make believe currency that hackers mine and get by adding a hash to the end of some code.  It is the ultimate Pyramid scam.  The early adopters are making all the cash while fools rush in to make a little cash on the hype.

Yeah I know, but even then when it was coming out (Mondak  etc.) people were talking about how it's a scam that will cause all types of exchange rate issues, inflation issues, competition for currency, etc.

I get what you're saying on the pyramid structure.

The government also looked into it as a ponzi scheme and determined since their was no "one" authority of bitcoin it did not fit the classification of a ponzi scheme.

Everything I read about Edison makes it seem you are right about him being a dick. But Nikola Tesla was from another planet on the dick level. Tesla, who was most likely a non practicing homosexual hated everybody. Except his pigeon(bird)...Its amazing the pass genius's get for being eccentric...

I guess it's understandable that these guys may have been pessimistic or negative because they had to continuously  explain their ideas to people. It would kind of be like a nagging wife always asking questions.
19  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: BitCoin loses 50 Percent of its Value overnight. :) on: December 20, 2013, 07:16:12 AM
What evidence is there for this claim?

He's right. I just don't know if it's "Bitcoin" but it's going to be a cryptocurrency for sure. Greenspan and government research from back in the 1960's to when the Internet Bill of 1991 was implemented signaled a digital currency for the future. Th e GAO in fact insists the government start using more technology driven procedures to reduce transaction costs and the treasury dept. must make a currency in the future that is "accesible to all" (blind handicapped, etc.)

I would for sure enjoy hearing from some older members on their thoughts and views of when "e-cash" started coming out because people didn't believe in debit cards and pre paid value cards back in the early 90s.

We are at an interesting point in finances that is for sure and it's all because people don't believe in a centralized currency where government keeps printing "good" money to drive out "bad" money.

You're quibbling over semantics... at will employment -- the employer has the power or "right" to terminate an employee at any time, for any reason, barring discrimination based on racial, ethnic, national and/or religious beliefs.

You mention suspicion about the reason for firing Robertson being the basis for a lawsuit.  What suspicion?  The guy made anti-homosexual comments in multiple public interviews!

Dude, wth? Are you really this stubborn? Semantics is the law. The syntax of each word carries weight.

(Also, when you talk about rights it's constitutional specific, and their is no fundamental "right" to terminate an employee)

You're thinking about it from a perspective of constitutional issues and proof issues I think.

I'll try and break it down real quickly before I finish my coffee....

(1) In law there are burden hurdles to overcome for a plaintiff to first, bring suit and second keep the suit alive against against presumptions. Don't throw around "judge will throw the case out" movie lines, that is not how it works but close.

(2) obertson's can put together a relatively easy claim of action for religious discrimination in the workplace with what just happend and further use the past evidence (Roger Bacon posted) to corroborate their claim (this will be used as circumstantial evidence and evidence to prove intent, motive, a common scheme and plan)

(3) If you still believe in your own law, please read up on United States employement law for those that wish to have employees work for them in a private business setting, "Employer is liable to employee for disparate treatment motivated by religion-based animus, disparate impact of employment practices, and failure to offer reasonable accommodation of employee's religious practice."

(4) (Let's go back to where I said suspicion and you mocked that) Understand it's not what you know, but what you can prove when dealing with law issues (back to the top on evidentiary burden hurdles)

You get fired because you're a virgin and talk about it at work. You work at a sex shop, lol. Employeer doesn't like that you wear a band that symbolizes your virginity and that you attend church on a weekly basis and commented to a sex magazine on how the bible says it's best to abstain from sex. You're fired.

You then hire a lawyer. The lawyer will put together and present a prima facie case where he sues your employeer sex shop, at that point the burden shifts to the defendant (sex shop) to articulate a legitimate and nondiscriminatory reason for the adverse employment action (he claims cause you would jerk it in the bathroom on your break) so if he meets this burden the then burden shifts back to you and you must show that the defendant's proffered reason is a pretext for discrimination.

So don't think that you need concrete proof to file a claim there is rarely concrete proof or a smoking gun. My point is if something happens to you or you feel wronged their is a remedy for you in some niche area of the vast law arena.

Why would China do that?

I understand one reason is to focus on their goods consumer industry and move away from the service industry to build up a larger infrastructure but it seems like the world right now was competing for this new technology and then USA FinCEN made bitcoin miners a money service business (regulation restricting bitcoin) and now China doesn't want banks and payment processing institutions to deal with bitcoin at all.

What risks does this private non centralized alternative currency strike to larger countries economies? Its too small to compete with the centralized currencies, or is it? It's impact on exchange rates appears to be sustained within it's own rules. SilkRoad was shutdown eliminating a majority of the bad apples and even the senate hearing majority opnions stated cash is the best way to launder money. I'm stumped, it's a taxable asset (or can be), great idea and innovation, even is traceable and not as anonymous as people once thought. Seems like the only concern is volatility, but it's a non fixed alternative currency as opposed to a fixed rate centralized currency so it's going to be more volatile by nature.

I wonder if this was how the internet was viewed in it's beginning stages of public use
22  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Just Blocked A&E on my dish network..... on: December 19, 2013, 10:32:28 PM
Lol are you kidding? That statement mentions his "personal beliefs"....that doesn't mean they dropped him for religious reasons.  And even if they did, you couldn't draw that conclusion from the statement.

A&E was fully within their rights to drop this guy, just deal with it.  There won't be a lawsuit filed, and if there was the judge would throw it out

You won't be able to find out what "rights" a person has to fire another until you read a few Federal Codes of Regulations on Discrimination and Labor.

You don't have a "right" to fire someone you do have a guideline and a lawful manner to rightfully fire someone.

I'm all for firing people and at will employement states but one needs to act within the guidelines of the law and not raise suspicious for the reason(s) in which they were fired.

Suspicious and doubt are the forerunners to truth, and that is all you need for this suit and any suit because you won't find truth in the court room. lol

What god did Thomas Edison and Albert Einstein believe in?   Huh

Furthermore, religion has not done anything in terms of technological advancement.  NOTHING. It has only hindered progress.

Don`t be a moron.

I said something greater than themselves.

It did pave the way for eyeglasses to be allowed that was a step in the right direction.

Dude, Thomas Edison seemed like the biggest dick of his time. How was he so smart but always so damn negative.

25  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Just Blocked A&E on my dish network..... on: December 19, 2013, 10:17:19 PM
Praying to god is for stupid people.

I think every civilization must believe in a power greater than themselves to move forward. Without belief their is no hope and no ingenuity. Even all the great minds and inventors believed in some force greater than themselves.

I'd rather be stupid for life, than stupid the day of my death, on my death bed like so many famous enlightened philosophers.

Apparently A&E owns the rights to 'Duck Dynasty' however the Robertson's own 'Duck Commander'
