I saw Slayer at least 20 times live - but seeing them at Yankee Stadium as part of the Big 4 was probably the best Metal experien ce of my life.
FUCK!!!!
SLAYER!!!!!!!!
same here bro, 'cept I saw them in Indio, CA for the Big Four concert. They owned the show, putting Metallica to shame.

I know it's not exactly latest news (about him losing weight), but here's a recent video of him on Craig Ferguson last week. Amazing how much smaller he is now, obviously he was on the sauce (and seemingly proud of it from the way he would always dress to show off him arms). Maybe he figured out how much of a clown he looked all bulked up--probably worked against him as a "funny man." Here's an infamous pic of his oiled up delts from his former physique:

"Took control of the stage" Please... don't they judge physiques anymore?
Now I know why bodybuilding is the way it is.
I kind of agree....same way they take hair/makeup into consideration when judging women. I mean c'mon, is this a physique competition or a beauty pageant??

the problem with those are the interchangeable lens. Can't bring those into the stadium.
Gotcha....guess you're left with a superzoom compact option if you want to get even somewhat close to the action. Depends if you want one for the long run (for more future games) or just this one shot. Those Kodak superzooms are pretty damn cheap at 12X + magnification, could probably pick one up at $100 or less. Decent quality for practically a throw away. Otherwise, Canon S95 or S100 is good quality (though not as far of a reach), Olympus has a pretty nice XZ-1 with big aperture and modest zoom. They both shoot raw files, too, which is nice.

so are you wanting advice on a new compact option, I'm assuming? Try one of the those micro 4/3rds mirrorless cameras from Panasonic or Olympus. Small (even pocketable in a coat jacket) with small interchangeable lenses, decent quality pics. Although their zooms aren't that fast...
