Well, Jay is around 60 pds heavier than Arnold lol. The 90s were da place to be, where people killed themselves to get in shape. You don't see backs like that on todays pro stages. dexter jackson's bdb is actually reminiscent of this shot

is it just me or has the appearance of competitors changed dramatically (for the worse) since the 90's
Nasser is far superior in that shot with teh exception of thigh development but everything else such as conditioning, dryness and the overall quality of muscle.
I'm not even a fan of nasser

true, but ronnie 99 was probably the best the sport has ever seen to date.
Dex has improved a lot in 10 years I think. at least, he has added size without becoming an ogre like Ronnie and Dorian did when they went overboard..
but that is only because dexter was udnersized to begin with ronnie in 99 is like dexter is in 09 a great balance of mass and still possessing symmetry, balance etc if dexter now added 20lbs of muscle he'd be overboard

All calves. Put your hand over them and try repeating all that stuff you said before about Yates' quads being "probably as big as Ronnie's" bwahahahah
Granted Ronnie's claves = not great. But it's more apples and oranges than you make out. I personally think massive quads and average calves would beat massive calves and average quads. You will counter this with "judging criteria", yet will not look to our current Mr O who was judged best in the world and has no calves at all.
tell me please he did not assert this

and you came to the conclusion they're bigger how? please elaborate on that gem , and spoken like an ignorant fan boy . if that's all we were judging by than sure Ronnie wins but you forgot shape , insertion point , proportion in relation to the other muscles , you need to learn more before commenting or run the risk of being corrected but I don't mind I enjoy correcting idiots ask Hulkster
i assume you have some evidence relating to dorian's edge in size in regards to forearms

nd,
still avoiding why you think its right to use flex's list when it suits you
your hypocrisy is hilarious
no matter what bodypart is mentioned of ronnies you will run to another bodybuilder in some attempt to denigrate coleman
i'm sure i recall you comparing your hero reeves against coleman one time
its just one after the other with you
its ronnie against the world tho to be fair you are putting up a good fight.
using your criteria ronnie must have better forearms than dorian since they are "BIGGER and just as developed and separated all the muscles "

weights are hard to be verified? NOT stepping on a scale involves no effort and easily verified , weight may fluctuate muscle doesn't because it's so hard to gain
7/8 or 15 pounds don't matter? yeah it does especially if it's muscle there is a huge difference between an increase of dense muscle & water & fat and the physique he displayed was unmatched ? in what context? seeing Ronnie is an individual no shit it's not going to be matched unless he had a twin , but as far as a man around 5'10" 5'11" being 257 pounds in contest shape it's more than been matched in year earlier in fact Dorian was 257 pounds in better condition with better balance & proportion and that's 257 pounds of dense muscle sans almost all fat & water
still goin on about dorian ey? shame dorians 257 looks like shit compared to ronnies

yet he's on this list nothing wrong with Dorian's quads only stupid people think so , same contest opppsssssss looking dumb right about now same guy jackass DORIAN YATES
As a winner of six Mr. Olympia titles (1992-1997), Dorian Yates set a new standard for overall size and density in the mid-'90s. From the top of his vastus lateralis to the bottom of his soleus, his legs were thick from every angle. Yates believed in high-intensity training, exhausting his muscles by putting maximum effort into a few focused sets.i find it interesting that you use flex's list to support dorian's leg development but ignore the list they published for arms which didnt include him yet you still insist he had better arms than ronnie and why are you posting tom prince pics when we all know his hams were without equal in size. This takes nothing from ronnies development. Are you now resorting to pure size as criteria in determining what qualifies as best? sad thing is if ronnie had hams like prince you'd be ranting how they were too big or looked stupid.

once again nitpicking over the minor details
weights are hard to be verified at the best of times and these guys can fluctuate by 5-10 lbs in one day
7, 8 or 15lbs heavier it doesnt matter, what does is that ronnie on the day presented a physique unmatched.

correcting you is getting to be a habit
torn bicep or bicep makes no difference his arms were average at best by all means post the few pics you have that shine a positive light upon his arms but for every one you have there are many, many others that suggest otherwise

Hmmm, that left quad is torn. You can't have a Mr. Olympia with a muscle tear, it just reaks of politics. unfortunately for you, ronnies quads were leagues ahead of his competitors to compensate for such an injury dorians arms are the other hand, well......
