Nothing ventured, ... capital saved.
But honestly, go for it. There's never been a better time to be a writer. Self-publish until the big names come calling. Doesn't cost you anything and, as I'm assuming this is a hobby for you, you won't mind putting in a lot of unpaid hours.
Just don't give up your day job yet. Do it like me: get a day job that allows you to fritter away your hours on GB -- or on your writing.
I actually started writing a novel zombie novel (one not set in the US, funny, and without ridiculous weaponry), but quit after page 1. Zombies are so played out. Trying to think of something new.

Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Get Bigger Dies After Having Sex With Hornet’s Nest

Hahaha Fake News.
"Neighbour Bertil Stååhfrääs" = Bertil Hard-On
IBTimes UK published a story yesterday about a man who died having while trying to have sex with a hornet's nest.
Unfortunately it turned out the story was a fake from a satirical news website in Sweden called Nyheterna Sverige, which was kindly pointed out by a number of our readers.
The original story was spawned from animal rights campaigners who were worried about the wellbeing of hornets.
However, the joke got lost in translation - as well the names of those involved. The neighbour's name translates to erection and the fetish expert is called genital.
Those campaigners are a bunch of pricks!

Excellent point. Next year will be my 30th year of training (started in college in '84). Some years better than others. This past year has been my most consistent effort of my life (culminating with the realization that training in the early AM allows me to train 6-7 days a week). I also realized that that fitness dude look is a much more attainable and desirable look anyway.
I feel you, bro. I played the mass game and lost. Almost 25 years of lifting and only recently have I realized it doesn't mean anything. Still love it, but having the biggest bench (or whatever) isn't a priority any more. Now it's on to practical shit: I'd rather be able to DL 315x10 without a warmup, than go for a 500 max after a 16 week peaking cycle and only hitting it if all the planets align properly.

Not that I necessarily disagree with these sentiments, but it is sometimes hard to see why I or any other non-AAS trainee would even bother to lift.
Because training clean can get you 20-30 lbs of muscle more than an untrained fatass. The chasm between a non-lifter and a clean trainee is just as large as between a clean lifter and a pro.
