I've done MRI, inwhich you drink the idye. But with MRA, they'll inject the idye directly into the injured area for a closer look.
I did read your post in the other thread. It seems like your recovery isn't going to well. I'd suggest following up with your Orthopedic Surgeon, instead of consulting with your PT at this point. Good luck.

I'm having a MRA done on my shoulder for a labral tear I have from 7yrs ago. Has anybody been through this route before? To possibly have surgery for a past injury to make the shoulder stronger for your workouts - Thanks.

Friday evening I'm watching the news as they report on the capture of the second Boston bomber and I'm thinking finally this thing is over, they've got the guys and the victims will get a little justice ( I hope) and so a little later I turn back on the tube and the people in Boston are out in the streets celebrating having a ball screaming USA, USA, USA like this was the greatest moment in the history of there city and all I could think about is how easy these two punk asses made it look to bring a major US city to its knees and its commerce to a stand still and cause the DOW to take its biggest dive in two months along with the death of 4 innocent people one of which was an 8 y/o boy and they feel the need to storm the streets and rejoice.... If its time for anything at all, wouldn't that be to take a step back, give a moment of silence and just be thankful it wasn't a hell of a lot worse cause it sure could have been. Opinions are welcomed
You do have a point there. However, what do you expect of people with average minds and being naive. Others who knew better didn't go out there and march like a band or wave the American flag as if we just won a war. |

 Man busted on child-porn charges, had stash of up to 1 million videos in Fla. apt. John Shearen of Leesburg is alleged to have had a collection of between 500,000 and 1 million full-length videos and images of kiddie porn stored on computers and disks, police said.A Florida man got busted for allegedly amassing the largest collection of child porn in the state's history. John Shearen had between 500,000 and 1 million full-length videos and images of kiddie pornography, as well as children's underwear, in his Leesburg apartment, police said. "He is the No. 1 person that can distribute child pornography throughout the world," Special Agent Jeff Duncan said. "And he's been doing it." Shearen was arrested Thursday, his 51st birthday, on 15 counts of possessing child porn and 15 counts of distributing it. More charges may be filed as the investigation continues. The illicit material was stockpiled on "mass media storage devices" at his home in the Lakeside Pointe apartment complex, about 45 miles northwest of Orlando, authorities said. "They were stored on several computers and external hard drives to actually being transferred from the computers to separate DVDs, and he has a DVD collection of child pornography," Duncan told Orlando-based ABC station WFTV. "So, we have a lot of work to do. Those initial cases will be charged today." When confronted about the children's underwear, Shearen claimed that he wore it himself, which Duncan noted is "virtually impossible." Authorities identified Shearen while monitoring child porn websites last month and secured a search warrant. When they Shearen, he was in the midst of downloading more indecent videos. Investigators started going door-to-door at the apartment complex to find out if Shearen had any contact with neighboring children. Needless to say, the parents have been appalled and horrified. "Absolutely disgusting," one neighbor said. "I don't see how somebody can even look at that." Shearen was booked without bond in Lake County Jail, reported local NBC-affiliate WPTV.

 Teacher on trial for child porn kept creepy 800-page journal of hugs with preschoolers. Dave Moe, 45, taught at the Paddington Station School in Denver from 1993 until he resigned last week. Prosecutors say Moe was accused of touching a 3-year-old in a 2001 incident that went unreported to authorities. David Moe wrote in his journal that he held a preschool girl “by the waist briefly, and she didn't flinch.” In another entry, he said of a little girl, "I was overly affection [sic] with her, but I love her so.” Over 800 pages, Moe – a former preschool teacher at Paddington Station School in Denver – detailed brief moments of affection with his students. Moe, 45, is currently on trial for possession of child porn, KUSA-TV reported. Federal prosecutors say the journal shows that he was indulging in “grooming behavior.” Even though one entry described having a girl jump off his lap before her mother saw them, Magistrate Judge Michael Hegarty said the journal did not reference any sexual contact with children. Moe allegedly admitted to visiting “regrettable” child porn websites and saving about 200 illegal images to his computer. But investigators said they found more than 4,100 such photos on just one CD that was seized from his home. They seized more than 500 CDs, as well as six external hard drives and two computers, according to KUSA. It is not yet known if Moe produced any of the images himself. His defense attorney said Moe was able to put up a “wall” between his online child porn activity and his work with kids at Paddington Station. The journal, Paul McCormick said, simply detailed Moe caring for his students. Moe also wrote of his failed attempts at dating adult women. Moe has been in jail since he was arrested on July 24, the Denver Post reported. He officially resigned last week from Paddington Station School, where he had taught since 1993. In July 2001, Moe was accused of inappropriately touching a 3-year-old student, prosecutors revealed. A federal agent testified Tuesday that school director Ann Solomon did not disclose the allegation to police, as required by law. |

 Florida Sunday School teacher accused of having child porn may walk free after overturned conviction A former Sunday school teacher jailed for his cut-and-paste collection of perverted photos could walk free after a Florida appeals court overturned his conviction. Danny Parker, who also worked as a youth camp photographer, made a 2009 plea bargain deal after authorities discovered he had cut out the faces of young girls and glued them on the bodies of nude adult women. In three cases, the girls' faces were attached to shots of women engaged in sex acts. But Parker appealed the case by arguing possession of his homemade photos was not actually possession of child pornography - and the Florida 2nd District Court of Appeal agreed. "Mr. Parker's conduct, as we will describe, is loathsome," the panel wrote. "But it escapes the grasp of the statute on which the State proceeds. Consequently, we must reverse." It was unclear when the 41-year-old Parker - a one-time volunteer at the Lakeland Acres Baptist Church - might walk out of jail. He was sentenced to five years in prison and 10 years of sex offender probation. The suspect, who lived with his parents, was arrested in 2008 after pieces of his creepy collection were discovered in his trash. He used both his position at the Sunday school and the Lake Wales Care Center youth camp to snap photos of the girls whose heads were later affixed to the women's bodies, authorities said. "Over the years, he photographed many children," the appeals court wrote. "They posed innocently enough, much as in the style one would expect of a school photo, a yearbook, or a family scene. "The innocence turned perverse." |
