While Kamali improved DRAMATICALLY in one week and his conditioning was by far the best that he has achieved since his pro debut (GREAT JOB BOB!!!) - there is not a SINGLE aspect of bodybuilding, a single pose, a single muscle...a single - single that Kamali could win over Dennis (except if you are judging darkness of the hair...).
It is SHAME that we have to see something like this still happening on the IFBB stages...

Hard to tell what effect training had, when he was 12 lbs. too heavy for Texas...
Ain't a drug in the world that can turn that around in a week...low carbs will do wonders.
You hit the nail with "intelligent"...smarter approach from 7 days out did the trick.
K.I.S.S. methoed was the key.
I bet he took less drugs this week than last week... |

The Muscle Beach Championships for Labor Day Weekend is Monday, September 4th. Prejudging at 10am, Finals at 1pm. Hopefully, it all goes well, I plan to go along with the family...
Joe Weider is getting a lifetime acheivement award. Leroy Colbert (who now owns a supplement store in Sherman Oaks, California) will be there getting into the Hall of Fame. Same with Rachel McLish, whom some journalists in the sport think she is really, really hot. And Gene Mozee.
Of course, we get to see Bob Cicherillo, and one of the girls giving away the trophies is Jessie Sumner, who will be profiled on Hardbody.com soon.

Kings legs remind me of Levrone's in latter years when he stopped squating due to injury. I wonder if king has the same problem as his legs used to have a much better sweep?
I personally think his legs LOOK overtrained. All that precontest cardio and high volume quad work will do that - one reason to cut back on thigh training volume somewhat during contest prep. |
