Right bob, mentally challenged. Thats why all you could do for a living is pick up heavy objects, because you are so smart. Give us all another bit of brilliant bodybuilding advice like how Benchpressing is bad for you. Or was that just another excuse so you don't have to explain why you can't even press 300 for reps
you're starting melt bro...

I was going to use that. I'll go with Monster Calves instead. Small waist, mad width. One thing I will never argue, massive amounts of drugs certainly make you much larger. Getting jacked on roids is like getting fat from eating pizza, pretty much anyone can do it.
don't forget the insulin and GH. that guy is doin loads of both from the looks of it...

Pre...
Interesting tidbit. A guy like paris definitely wasn't suited to bulking. He tried to do the whole parillo thing (mct oil, mega calories) in 90 and looked like shit. Once he returned to his shape training and moderate food he came back and did well at the 91 montreal that robby won (I think maybe even chris aceto helped him for that but could be wrong...)

And especially good for us snarkers who have been saying from day 1 that it was joke.
I've criticised the PDI from day 1 but more from the bullshit perspective (wayne saying he'd have 9 shows the first year or whatever it was) and also from the $ side of things. Big $ are needed to start a new federation.

If there was ever a weight limit, guys would just go to the extremes to get into condition and end up dropping dead backstage.
they'd know the limit a year before the show and could adjust easily. i'm not talking about making ronnie come in at 240 but 265 maybe... that adjustment would mainly be a drug adjustment trust me he isn't 300 naturally.

Well, the use of steroids and other drugs was allowed in the past and still is allowed. Bev deserved to win one of those Ms Olympia contests. If there is no testing then that shouldn't be considered. Bev has never tested positive for using banned substances that I know of. Was she using? Well I imagine Gael and Bev and other athletes that Franz in Melbourne was training were using steroids. I remember them calling such things 'beans'!
It is clear that the evidence shows that drugs make a huge difference in the physiques that women can develop. However, some women have naturally cut and larger muscles so we have to be careful about who we say is using.
What I dislike about Bev's case is the blatant intention of Ben and the IFBB to prevent her from winning that contest. I think Ben's position was that Bev was not good for women's bodybuilding because she resembled a man. The ironical thing is Bev eventually had a nose job and breast implants and changed her posing but still didn't win that contest. I like Bev and respect her as a person. She is honest and fair and a good person. Feminine, too! Not sure I like her choice of a guy but what the heck that is her business.
I think bev is great and should have won in 89 myself... before that cory was better. in 83 she was unrefined. i think lori bowen looked great in that contest. muscle and sexy...

Bodybuilders ARE going to continue to get bigger and bigger there is no doubt about it.
The problem is that doesn't automatically equate to getting better and it definitely is NOT heathier lets face it... who can deny Flex Wheeler looked his best at around 225lbs?
Why not impose an UPPER weight limit for contests determined by factoring in both the athlete's height and somatotype (basically their natural body type and skeletal size... wrist size is always a good indicator of this)
If a guy has a small wrist his max weight allowed is lower than a guy with a big wrist who is the same height (think nasser versus flex) and therefore skeleton - other athropometrical measures could of course be used.
F1 racing had to reduce the size of the engines to make their sport safer maybe we should limit the bodyweight of some of these guys before they start dropping dead at 40 which is where we are heading...

Yeah, i melted when i was emotionally involved, which Bob is now.
Bob is one of those guys who walks around and speaks to every waiter, garbageman, secretary, and bellhop like he is better than them. That's one of the worst traits a person can have.
maybe he does maybe he doesn't.... I have actually met bob very briefly before and he was very nice to me and I was dressed like a bum that day due to some manual labor i'd been doing for my business.... he just doesn't suffer fools... and he is proud of his sport which I applaud him for. I still think he has flaws though don't worry about that.

if he wants to sell drugs then "not recall", I could care less. But you typically don't hear Bbers on here demeaning those who have less glamorous jobs.
Bob's problem is an ego one...I think he has a big heart but can't rise above many people's insults (very very few people can though... myself included)... the guy is human. 240 some of your meltdown's have been way way better than any of chick's though you have to admit...

I agree that aesthetic bodybuilding is the way to go, the problem is that it is very difficult to clearly define aesthetic. It means different things to different people, pretty much the only things that are fairly clear cut are size, conditioning, and proportion. And deep down inside I think that everyone can admit that Ronnie displays those three qualities better than anyone else in the world. Is it aesthetic? That's a whole different story.
ronnie at 98 mr O and 2001 Arnold is aesthetic... big but still has shape. ronnie now is a blob most of the time...
