ppl are still racist for shure, hell I live in Canada, and some of my relatives who live in Windsor Ontario, outside Detroit say the most racist things. I look at racism as prejudices we ll judge with out really knowing sometimes and that will run you into problems. You cant drive blind and that's the problem with snap judgment you think you know but don't leaving you making mistakes or missing open doors. In the end your mistakes set you back. The good thing about BJJ is as a striker it teaches u how to stay on your feet, when opponents are trying to push u in a corner or take you down. at least thats how it helped me. Subs I never seen one out side the ring. if you can hit, your gonna just hit the guy not spend all this time setting up subs. The fighters I've ever met who are dead set on subs, is usually cause they cant, or don't know how to hit very hard.

I dont know my dad was a crack head and MMA/Boxing and BB, along with  the ppl I met, through those sports, taught me every thing my dad didnt. So from my perspective fighting for youth is angelic, it saved my life. I wasnt worried about my dad catching me with a cigerette I was worried my coach would drive around the corner see me then make sure I get killed in the gym for it. Hell my coach was practacly my dad lol.

Patatos and oat meal are pritty cheap and good carbs for trainning. I used to eat a plate of patatos with chicken or ground beef. Oat meal I put in a big bowl with peanut butter and jam maybe a dash of milk. Tuna is real good on the wallet also as mentioned.

Ya I don't see how you could eat 1 meal full of carbs per day. I tyred training vegetarian and It can be done, but I ended up eating a lot more food. 1 meal seems imposable unless Ur just sitting around.
