51  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: Phil Heath's brother? on: April 17, 2014, 09:08:03 PM
Soon, he'll be more than happy to trade it for another kidney and liver and 7 years of dialysis free living.  Until he screws those organs into the ground, that is.

that's pretty harsh.   Most bodybuilders just use minimal stuff and stick with supplements for the big off season gains.  They usually live to be 83 or 95 on average, and only those with genetic predispositions have suffered illnesses.  There are literally dozens of Pro bodybuilders from the 1990s that are still healthy and strong today.

is that really his brother?  Or just looks a bit like him?

If it really is him... pretty cool.  He's much taller- we're talking 7 or 8 inches taller.  If he's 6 foot 5 there, he's massive.

Probably a great basketball player, if he chooses.  I know Phil just loves basketball and hangs out at NBA games - I bet he'd trade every sandow for another 7 inches of height.

Chris Christie calls for unlimited campaign donations: ‘Let’s stop playing games’

By NJ.com
Tuesday, April 15, 2014 17:09 EDT

FRANKLIN — Gov. Chris Christie today said there should be no limits on how much money people can donate to political campaigns.

The Republican governor and potential 2016 presidential candidate called such rules "ridiculous." Instead, he suggested that the law allow for unlimited donations, followed by a 48-hour period in which they must disclose their contributions.

"If somebody wants to write me a $100,000 check to my campaign, great," Christie told the crowd at a town hall meeting in the Somerset section of Franklin Township. "Forty-eight hours later, everybody who has access to the internet will know that Mr. Smith gave the $100,000."

"You are never going to keep money out of politics," he added. "None of these laws change that. So let's add transparency to it."

FL voters were smart and shrewd in 2010.

in 2014, they're *#@&$*@#&$ IDIOTS.

Crist Running Ahead in Florida

A new Survey USA poll in Florida finds Charlie Crist (D) leading Gov. Rick Scott (R) in the race for governor, 46% to 41%.

I blame the media.   Something about how they weren't on the air in 2010, but they're totally on the air in 2014.  Something like that.

Gaga makes 75 million plus a year.  Clearly there is a demand for her.  Sounds like Army of One is just jealous or envious.

good point.  There are chicks that are 100x hotter than her, making $8 an hour giving people tables at Bennigans.

Here is Phil Heath's twin brother Bill standing with Chris

Phil has posted that his actual brother is 6 foot 5.  According to his FB:
"and my half-brother (yet looks jus like me but is 6'5 250) Brandon Heath."

You're not a true conservative.  You're not a conservative period.  And conservatives will be voting for whomever the Republican nominee is. That nominee is going to be supporting some form of amnesty, just like the rest of the Republican party.

Actually, the 2008 and 2012 elections have shown up that a nice chunk of the republican/conservative base WILL NOT show up and vote for "whoever the republican nominee is".

Remember?

The RINOs will, I suppose.  but the base stayed home whne mccain and romney ran, because they saw them as fake conservatives.  Any candidate that supports amnesty will also be viewed as a fake conservative.

62  Getbig Main Boards / Politics and Political Issues Board / Re: Gov Susana Martinez: It's time to "play ball" on Amnesty on: April 17, 2014, 06:49:44 PM
Exactly.  That's why they will be toeing the line on amnesty.

toeing the line that DEMOCRATS set for them.

The funny thing will be when the Repubs don't win the hispanic vote, even though they cave on amnesty and open up the borders.

I'm trying to remember... Bush2 got 44% hispanic vote, Mccain got 33%, Romney got 27%?  Something like that?  it's been sliding fast.  imagine if the repubs cave, and voila... they STILL only get 22% of the Hispanic vote in 2016.

What then?   They'll piss off the repubs in the base that actually RESPECT the law.  They'll piss off hispanics that actually RESPECT the law.  But you know who will still love them?  The plastic republicans (RINOS) that pretend they are conservative while letting the dems walk on them.
63  Getbig Main Boards / Politics and Political Issues Board / Re: Gov Susana Martinez: It's time to "play ball" on Amnesty on: April 17, 2014, 06:29:13 PM
Yes, good people who know how to lead.  They not advocate everything you like, but that good leaders are hard to find.

It's like saying "This girl I'm dating is sweet, pretty, funny, sexy, but she does like to stab puppies once or twice a week.  I don't like everything she does, like stabbing puppies, but the good totally outweighs the bad".

Supporting amnesty is a deal-breaker for any true conservative.  Anyone who disagrees isn't a true conservative, and I think most here will agree with that.
64  Getbig Main Boards / Politics and Political Issues Board / Re: Gov Susana Martinez: It's time to "play ball" on Amnesty on: April 17, 2014, 05:54:53 PM
Yes, America needs more good people to run for high office.

Good people that support opening the border for millions of illegal aliens.   Yes!
65  Getbig Main Boards / Politics and Political Issues Board / Re: Gov Susana Martinez: It's time to "play ball" on Amnesty on: April 17, 2014, 05:19:36 PM
I hope she runs.

definitely.  America needs more amnesty-supporting republicans.  I hope ALL of the repubs, except one, support amnesty.  This way, the vote won't be split like in the past.  Vote for Cruz, or vote for allowing illegal immigrant lawbreakers to take over the country.  Easy choice.
66  Getbig Main Boards / Politics and Political Issues Board / Re: Sen. Reid on Cattle Battle: "It's not over" on: April 17, 2014, 05:17:46 PM
they did try to force a violent confrontation with US federal agents in which they attempted to have American civilian women injured/killed in order to further their political agenda.

they did admit that much.  We can debate whether or not someone who tried to kill american women on American soil for political cause is a domestic terrorist.  Reid thinks they are.  I think they're just a-holes.  Who knows.
67  Getbig Main Boards / Politics and Political Issues Board / Re: Gov Susana Martinez: It's time to "play ball" on Amnesty on: April 17, 2014, 05:03:09 PM
but but but but but Martinez said some great one-liners about gun control meaning using both hands.

She's hilarious and awesome and will totally be a great veep.

Sure, she wants to allow illegal lawbreakers to wreck our nation.  But she's got spunk!
68  Getbig Main Boards / Politics and Political Issues Board / Re: Gov Susana Martinez: It's time to "play ball" on Amnesty on: April 17, 2014, 06:55:44 AM
Dems have always been the lawbreaking party, willing to completely piss on the law because it's morally mean.  You know, it's cool to steal if you're hungry and all that.

Now it seems like repubs are embracing this fccked up philosophy too.  I suppose if it's okay for mexicans to cross border because they need the $, it's also okay for iraqis and people from places like afghanistan and N Korea to ALSO come here illegally?   This whole "open up the borders for those in need" doesn't just apply to hispanics who sway elections.  It will extend to people from syria and china and everywhere else.  Just let em in.  I'm sure their intentions are all love.
69  Getbig Main Boards / Gossip & Opinions / Re: James Harden Pays A Houston Stripper $100,000 To Go Out On A Date on: April 17, 2014, 06:52:45 AM
It's hard to imagine what Houston Rockets guard James Harden would look like without his signature beard.

He hasn't had a clean-shaven face since in college days at Arizona State. Since 2009, Harden's beard as continued to grow as big as his career in the NBA.

But what would it take for him to cut it off? A million dollars? Five million?

"No," Harden told ESPN's Hannah Storm.

What about $10 million?

"Then we can talk," he said.

Money can't buy everything, but there was enough to lure Harden away from a championship-caliber Oklahoma City Thunder team in 2012.

Harden was the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year in 2012 and helped lead the Thunder to the NBA Finals that season where they lost to the Miami Heat in five games.

The future looked to be bright playing alongside superstars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.

"I thought we were going to be together forever," Harden said.

But he got a deal in Houston he couldn't refuse. Asked by Storm if money wasn't an issue, would he still be in Oklahoma City?

"Definetly, no question," he said.

The Thunder have managed just fine without him as one of the annual favorites in the Western Conference, and Harden has helped turn the Rockets into a title contender with Dwight Howard.

You call that "working with republicans"?

After he insults them, he then wants their support. That is not reaching across the aisle.

But we have martinez and Rand all ready to play ball on amnesty.
72  Getbig Main Boards / Politics and Political Issues Board / Re: WSJ Columnist: Nominate Rand Paul Because GOP Needs 'Another Humbling Landslide on: April 17, 2014, 06:47:27 AM
Rand is not for just rendering amnesty. He is for a pathway to citizenship, ONLY AFTER THE BORDERS ARE SEALED SHUT!!

The problem with the democrats is that they want to make these 11 million citizens while at the same time leave the borders open and reduce deportations.

pathway to citizenship = every criminal who already broke the law and illegally crossed the border - GETS TO STAY

See, that's not cool to me.  Reward them for pissing on our law.

One Republican governor things teachers are "little bitches" that "already don't work".

Gov. Susana Martinez, R-N.M.

In candid conversations with her closest political aides that were published Wednesday, Martinez dubs her 2010 Democratic opponent “that little bitch,” complains that teachers “already don’t work … 2 1/2 months out of the year” and exhibits a penchant for punishing political opponents similar to the merciless retribution that landed Gov. Chris Christie’s administration in hot water.
74  Getbig Main Boards / Politics and Political Issues Board / Re: Gov Susana Martinez: It's time to "play ball" on Amnesty on: April 17, 2014, 02:52:54 AM
Martinez joined hannity and a few other repubs in the SUDDEN change in position that many of them engaged in - all at once - just 2 weeks after losing the 2012 election.

Now that Obama is going to House Repubs to get his Amnesty bill - This week he's starting - Will she join with Obama and follow thru with her quote here?   I hope not.

This was a quiet, non-story way back in 2012 when it came out after the election.   Looks meaningful now.

"Kennicott mocked the language skills of Ben Luján, a former state House speaker and a political icon to New Mexico Latinos: 'Somebody told me he's absolutely eloquent in Spanish, but his English? He sounds like a retard.'"

- The top female in the GOP and frontrunner for 2016 VP said this.   Her defense?  The media shouldn't have been recording me.  Nothing about "Maybe I shouldn't have offended people with such a word".   Since it's a repub saying it, I wonder if Palin will say it's okay when asked about it?  Hopefully she'll be consistent and admit it's a classless use of the word.
