This "leading up to the election" stuff should be crystal clear to everyone at this point.  I am not sure anyone can deny it.

Gas prices hitting record lows.  Dow hitting record highs.  Economy has sucked since Jan 2, 2001 (tech bubble bursting - what happens when false confidence leads to bloated, overvalued market - Clinton doing exactly what Bush is doing now).

Does everyone feel richer than they have in the last 6 years?  Or is most of this new DOW wealth in the hands of a very few?

Monster crash coming right after Christmas 2006.  Jan 2 again? Anyone?

First off, gas is nowhere near its all-time low. 

I'd like the conspiracy theorists here to please "enlighten" me and tell me how our government is making gas cheaper than its true fair market value...
