It's no big deal IMO.
BBC, like all credible media, is always worried about not covering all bases, not having wide enough perspective.
That's what makes BBC one of the best networks in the world, and gives the Brits a more balanced outlook on things than the US propaganda media stations, where they routinely offer guys like Olbermann, O'Reilly and Hannity&Colmes.
BBC is more about broadcasting news.
The ongoing discussion is a healthy one. Of course all parts of Britain needs to be represented.
But a media station should be equally as tough with the coverage of all the members of the society.
Ie, the media should not go easier on a Muslim who refuses to send his daughter to school in regular school uniform, just because of the religion.
It's still gender discrimination.
