remember that video of lee priest as a 21 year old? I think Demayo was more developed at this age.

i wish i had one...ive got a pic in a mag of him when he was 19...still massive legs but upper body still improving..by 21 he was about as good as he ever got but without the wide waist..still his upper bod not quite up to lower.

This guy was a freak a 21.

Great loss to bbing, its a shame he got messed up with that shit.

The reason his legs were not as freaky as Platz, is because his upper body was also freaky, and better "balanced". Fukin huge arms, huge delts, good back for a man with a blocky structure, and thick pecs.

Those quads were surely the same size if not bigger than Platz at his peak.

Btw, I'm refering to De Mayo at his best, 30 or so yrs old. Not this vid at 21.

it's really a shame what happened to Paul.  I remember reading alot of his problems started when he shot a gun into the air, that got him thrown in jail, he lost all his endorsements and his life went to shit after that, amazing how one decision can screw up a guys entire life.  I don't know if he had problems before that but the impression I got was that he was "normal" by BB standards but his life spun out of control the minute he chose to fire that gun.  It's a shame.

Great quads and better overall physique but still not in the same league as Platz re: size, shape & striations. Striated everywhere, including hams.

I don't know how anyone will ever exceed Platz's thighs.

no one will ever match platz in terms of leg development, quads, hamstrings, calfs his legs were excellent all around, I remember watching the 86 Olympia and being totally dumbfounded by his thighs :o :o :o :o
