IFBB fucked them completely over what joining the WBF...damn IFBB should have given them a warning that if did joined another federation again they would be banned..but till the end  these former WBF guys were taken to task everytime they competed in IFBB...

Don't blame the IFBB. Blame the bodybuilders. If they truly wanted to succeed, they would have gone after what they truly wanted just like any other profession. Mind you the IFBB like any other profession has its share of politics and un ethical policies.

They did have a warning...it was called "the rules".

The guys that defected mad out like bandits...they made more money in 2-3 years than they would have in 10 with the IFBB.

zuccolotto invested wisely and has apparently done well sans ifbb

For some bodybuilders, recieving pro status is all they want...in the industry it looks great on the resume, outside of it its quite useless.

The ifbb offers athletes a promotional tool for them to make money, the rest is up to them.

the ifbb was/is the only game in town. the guys whose careers they "ruined" only had a career to ruin at all because of the ifbb. it's like getting mad at the nfl for treating a player badly. okay, great, it screwed someone over. where else would they be playing if it weren't for the nfl?

i'm sure a lot of struggling amateurs would love to get screwed by the ifbb, at least they made it that far.
