Styles, like everything change.  If you were in a gym in the late 80's, as funny as it looks now, it was the norm, if you could get away with it.  The funniest thing was seeing dudes who used to wear the singlets with a huge beach ball belly.  Man how could you leave the house, but that was the norm back than.

Actually in some ways the 80's were better, that was before the 90's when white guys started dressing like they were black and over the top gangsta wear was in. Don't you think the baggy pants look is gonna be laughed at, if not already. Now thats funny. Hip hop has brought about a lot of laughable styles.

And how about the tools today walking around with the ubiquitous white ipods out of their ears.  Or all the fake hair extensions and plumped up lips. Believe me it will be a joke years from now.

I remember in the 80's, our cut off t shirts,  we cut the sleeves from the shoulder all the way down to the bottom of the shirt, then cut the neck band off. Not much was left, but we thought it was cool. I don't think I owned a shirt with sleeves back then. Shorts were pretty "short" back then too. Way above the knees. I like them longer now because my legs always were shit anyway. Alot of guys used to workout with work boots on too. Not me, after wearing them at work all day, I hated them. Sweat bands too were big. We wore them around the head, not like do-rags. We used to slide our sweat pants up over our calves, too. All this and I'm not even Italian. You should of seen them. You younger guys will laugh a bit at yourselves in 20 years as I do at myself now. Good memories though.

Are they in a time warp?

I recall serious bodybuilders wearing those well into the mid 90's.

Maby Borat will bring back the singlet ???  And I never could understand those gangsta pants half way down your ass with flashy boxers sticking about 6" out.  How's a purse snacher to run with duds like that on.  I'd fall flat on my face and the pocket book would be all over the sidewalk ::)
