He was thickly built,blocky and thick joints to carry all that size,would he be considered a pioneer in insulin usage?i wonder if the amounts he took hindered or increased his abilities to grow muscle and stay healthy as a diabetic.

Unlike pros today, Tim was a type two diabetic and NEEDED insulin (might explain the bloating, and from what I understand, he is now a Pastor!

he was diabetic you jizz slurper thats what made his face full like that he HAD to take insulin, i have ever seen any insulin dependent diabetic with a chzeled face in a show

One, if not THE first to use insulin, yes. But the pioneer-the person to have taken insulin usage to another level and introduced it on a mainstream level, NO.
The person that really made insulin popular and brought it to the forefront, was/is Milos Sarcev!!!
There are numerous posts on various boards where he speaks about insulin. The best in my opinion being on Muscle Mayhem where Milos and Chad go head to head and "duke it out" on the subject. It's in the archived section.
