Embarrassed or scared?

After reading the post about "I'm on steroids"  I noticed how you guys say its not cool to talk about it and you should be tight lipped about it.  Why?  Are you embarrassed to tell people that you're on steroids? Are you afraid people will judge you or is it that you're scared about getting caught with an illegal drug?  I know that people that smoke weed don't go running around telling people for fear of the law , is it the same with steroids?

Part of it is you dont want to get the wrong person to tell the wrong people you use roids.  Also if your on roids others that are and those that know about them and how they work will be able to tell.  People are also very ignorant on steroid use and its benefits since the govt has made it seem like every other illegal drug.

Agreed. There's so much negative bullshit hype about steroids that if you just tell "anyone" you're using they'll look at you like you're some sort of junky. You'll get more respect telling people you're a stoner.

Most people on the street assume ifone is juicing that they are not working hard and it's a way of cheating. They dont know anything about it. They think anyone who uses just grows muscle like trees grow leaves. Instead of saying he busts his arse everyday and has a strict diet most will follow it up with, "not bad but he's on steroids, anyone can do that" Like parents, they just dont understand.

Why am I going to openly admit to strangers in person that I use AAS without prescription?

Do you realize the unwanted attention that could bring.

People already assume I'm on AAS because of my size for my height.

The sad reality of this is back in Arnold's day they openely admitted and spoke about thier usage (mostly to fellow competitors) but now a days people get pissed or offended if you approach them about comments or questions regarding what works for them and what is working for you yet it is totally acceptable to talk openely about how drunk you got last weekend and it is cool. No wonder this country is filled with fat, drunk idiots. I will always shake my head when it comes to this country and its views on steroids as bad karma when alcohol and tabaco kills more people each year than any other compound and it is readily available on every shelf  of practically every convenience store nation wide. Funny in a very sad way!

i get enough bullshit from people asking me if i'm on them already...at least once a week i have a young guy ask me what i'm taking. i usually tell them creatine and 6 meals a day. when they hear this you can tell they don't believe it but it's not their business.

No one asks me because no one interrupts my workout.
