Dr. Kervorkian finally heading home in June on parole.

I believe Dr. Kervorkian should never have been prosecuted and having a frail old Doctor that was helping people out of their misery spend 8 years in prison is just ridiculous. No matter where you stand on the assisted suicide debate I can't imagine anyone truly agrees that he should have spent so much time in prison.

Yeah, it seems kind of sad.

I agree. What a tough situation for the prosecutors. They probably just should have declined to press charges. I know he would have continued to assist in suicides but sending him to prison seems barbaric to me.
