Silly Gi-Joes. If US soliders behave like this then can you blame Iraqi people for cheering when they're blown to 50 pieces via road side bomb? They never asked for any of this crap.

I don't get how you guys think DK can't comment on this thread because he's German. He is pointing out the obvious and whether you like to accept it or not, it's there and very serious. America cannot use the 9/11 excuse to do whatever the fuck it wants anymore. People will question everything from now on, and that goes for Americans too.

You are making a big deal about some American soldiers playing a dumb prank on Iraqi kids.

bmacsys,
What you brush off as a dumb prank is really indicative of a cancerous mind-set within the troops.
Stop and think about it for a moment. These are grown men, ...supposedly men of honour,
...yet this is how they behave towards children???   :-\

Do you remember the clip about the kids running for water? The troops are suppose to be there to help that country, ...yet how these troops behave towards the smallest and most vulnerable members of this or any society speaks volumes. Ya, they have a tough job to do, ...ya they're stressed out, ...but you don't blow off steam by exploiting innocent children for your own amusement. And you can forget winning the trust of the people when troops conduct themselves this way.

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones my friend.

Don't build too many windows in your house because you're sitting on some big stones.

You are making a big deal about some American soldiers playing a dumb prank on Iraqi kids.  Mean while your country is guilty of the worst genocide in the history of man kind commited during a war? Talk about the kettle calling the pot black.

hhahaahaahahaaaaa, great. I knew you would say this.

I totally agree with what you say here. But you are comparing apples and peaches.

Do you want to tell me i cannot criticize american soldiers because 'my' country has killed millions of people over 60 years back? haha
You threw the atomic bomb, so does that mean that you can't criticize any other country in the world trying even to just OWN one?
Following your discussion regarding the atomic bomb, the germans should be the first in line to talk about war and genocide.  8)

What did YOU do to the indians? That's a genocide.  ;)

You should not be too fast with you linking germans to nazis. I have nothing to do with them, never had, never will, and as a world citizen of the 21st century i should be able to criticize whoever i want.  ;D

I'm so far from the nazis as any US citizen is from an indian killing pioneer.  ;)

Saying, you germans cannot ... because of WWII is ridiculous and no one living 60 years after the war ENDED should be talking like this, if he had a brain.
