I ran across the first video below this morning. it's of a guy named Ken Castignoli from back at the 92 jr. Nationals. This is a guy that came really close to winning a pro card-I think he lost out to Stan McCrary at the North Americans in 95 or 96. Anyway I was watching it and I just really like this type of pysique so much better than what is presented today. he's big, ripped, guy his gut is in check, seperated....this is really what I think about when someone says the word "bodybuilding' to me.
I also found a vid of Markus to compare it too, I know it's not as high quality as the other one but I don't have a membership to youtube right now and this is the only one I could find. Now I'm not a fan of the body Markus presents, no disrespect meant in anyway to him as a person. he's gigantic but has no seperation, no hardness to his physique..you know what I'm getting at.
so the question is, what do you think the sport bodybuilding should stand for? What do you think should repersent our "sport"? Do you think if BB went back to the look a guy who couldn't even turn pro presented back in 92 would it be better off than it is today.
